  1. I have never seen that Hayley Pullos/Lexi Ainsworth picture before. They do look alike there! Nice photo of them together.
  2. Going WAY back here, but, on Santa Barbara, I always thought that Nancy Lee Grahn's Julia and Louise Sorel's Augusta believably looked like sisters. And I think Carrington Garland's Kelly and Marcy Walker's Eden almost looked eerily alike, which worked, since the characters were also sisters.
  3. And infrastructure has now passed - with some GOP voting for it, and those known as the "squad" voting against. https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2021/11/05/house-infrastructure-reconciliation-vote/
  4. Not disagreeing with any of this. But if the show ever decides it does need Jax, I could see a recast happening. But since he really has nothing going on, unless his appearance is vital, best to just let him fade away.
  5. His parents must be rolling in their graves at what their son has done to their show.
  6. Remember when Days was about love and family and romance? Now...there's the undead summoned by the devil. ZOMBIES, for eff's sake. And people wonder why soaps get a bad rap.
  7. Dave Wasserman calls VA Governor's race for Glenn Youngkin:
  8. Nice to see Alison Sweeney and Kristian Alfonso congratulating them on Lauren's IG account.
  9. Sadly, I think the fact that this STILL has not passed will hurt McAuliffe in VA. The article highlights voters complaining that nothing is getting done as promised under Biden/Democrats. (Yes, Republicans obstruct, and Manchin/Sinema are glad to join them, but what it comes down to is voters feeling jaded, which may give Youngkin the boost he needs.) That is the cost of going so slow.
  10. No need to add, but Steven Weber was also on the final season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Ben Langston, a wealthy pharmaceutical rep/philanthropist who got killed a few minutes into the episode ("Cadaver", S10 in 2011) after being switched with an embalmed corpse (yes - dude was donated to science or something!). I only mention it because I had to admit, the corpse angle was certainly different/memorable! LOL!
  11. Hoo boy! I appreciate KA's humor here, but isn't the B&B set mainly Conservative by nature? Let's hope everyone can keep things professional.
  12. Think I read somewhere that she and Nathan Fillion were an item for a while, too.
  13. I thought Virginia voters were more intelligent, but I guess not. Apparently, a new Fox poll (I know, but I keep reading their polling has a good record) has Youngkin beating McAuliffe in the VA Governor's race by 8 points, outside the margin of error. Hope it is an outlier, but who knows...
  14. I cannot understand why How I Met Your Mother could be on this list with its s-h-i-tastic finale that spit on everything before it...
  15. An oldie, but on All My Children, during her first run as Cecily Davidson, the actress went by Rosa Langschwadt (approximate spelling!). When she returned to the show, the actress was then going by Rosa Nevin.
  16. Truth. THAT was a wreck of epic proportions.
  17. He had a role in the 1981 Bill Murray movie, Stripes, under his real name of Conrad Dunn, as well.
  18. So, in a move that should shock absolutely no one with a modicum of class and taste, I saw on Twitter that Donnie Dump Junior is now hocking T-shirts mocking the death of Halyna Hutchins having been shot by Alec Baldwin. There is no bottom to these things. (Can't call them people.) I hope, should Ms. Hutchins' husband get wind of this, that he will sue for emotional distress to himself and his son.
  19. Must have been a glitch, because comments are back/loading and the scathing ones are still there. (Good.)
  20. I'd wish for Santa Barbara, but I know that will never happen for a host of reasons. If not that, I'd love to see Days of Our Lives, from the '60s (before my time) until the early '90s. Considering what Ron Carlivati has done to it, I'd like to remember when the show was worth watching.
  21. It was a minor role, but K Callan also appeared in the episode "Rich Girl" on Hunter in Season 2, all the way back in 1985 as lawyer Mrs. Jorgensen (no first name given), and mother to her own secretary, played by none other than a young Tonja Walker as Claire Jorgensen (who was more than happy to flirt with Hunter) and played into busting the perp, played by yet another soap-connected actress, Dorian LoPinto! Just figured I'd add this for all of the soapy connections.
  22. UGH. Whether Stacy Haiduk or Eileen Davidson, Kristen is PLAYED OUT.
  23. And nothing continues to happen. Meanwhile, 2022 approaches...
  24. Jesus...
  25. Of note in that ruling, the DOJ has until Tuesday to respond to that court. So I guess it is a temporary stay, but I do not hold out much hope. Unless the "Supreme" Court stops the shadow docket BS and take some sort of position. Which is probably why they will hear a similar case in Mississippi this December.
