I don’t get why Phyllis acted like a 4 year old child after Summer announced she was not coming back and was very happy in Milan. “My daughter LOST everything!!!” just rang so false and exaggerated it was silly. Phyllis deserves to lose Nick over this display of nonsense.

The show really should have kept Ellen until the end to keep Emily and Allison in check, Lord knows they really needed someone like her around. I appreciated Allison's friendship with Nancy (The pottery class incident was hilarious) it would have been nice if she had Ellen on her side too.

Going to miss Anders for sure Alan Dale has been so wonderful on this show I am glad he was used to to his full potential (unlike his role on X-Files where that show absolutely wasted him). I was surprised to see Heather Tom directed the episode, she did a really great job. I heard she will be directing another one in a couple weeks. Good for her as its definitely got to be a refreshing change from the mess that B&B gives her. Jeff in Space? LOL I did think that was pretty random.

Ellen was the sole Lowell heir. Good point for sure! Also of interesting note is Dan, Betsy, Emily, Allison weren't actual biological Stewarts either but were all biological Lowells so the bloodline stayed all the way to the end.

I agree 100%! Lucas and Sami having an secret affair as they also spar with each other with EJ and Nicole thrown in the mix just feels like Days. This past year has seriously been the first time I thoroughly enjoyed watching Days since the 2009-2011 period, which was a may have been a strange time for the show but was carried superbly by AS, AZ, LK, NB and SR. I hate we’ve already lost Jennifer & Abby from the Gwen story and now this with Sweeney taking a break. I can’t stand the Ben/Ciara/Claire hour at all.

I always felt like Betsy should have easily returned at any time in the 90's, whether it was when Dani came back in 1994 or any time Emily had gone off the deep end again and needed support. I could easily see Betsy entwining herself with some Grimaldi and/or Kasnoff relative and staying in Oakdale til the very end. I have no idea who would have played her but I could have seen the show bringing in a slightly younger actress around KMH's age to play Betsy.

Major UGH at the news that the 11th is Sweeney’s final episode, at least for now. Sounds like it may be a few months before she returns.

It was pretty empty and lousy, but at least the storyline is finally over. I guess this is it for Kyle, Summer, and Tara. I can’t imagine what story if any will be given to Sally & Phyllis next.

Gotcha, it just sounds really off the wall for someone like Taylor to all the sudden be a missionary with no explanation as to why. No wonder Tylo refuses to come back.

LOL they usually are for me but compared to Tara, the mess that is Abby & Mariah’s story, and Phyllis constantly yammering “WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY DAUGHTER?!!?” when it Summer is now more successful than ever in Italy, their scenes come off as watchable and adequate. Of course the most unfortunate thing was Billy talking about hoping to meet Charlie & Maddie and how they would like Johnny & Katie as if Charlie & Maddie have been de-SOARSed lol until Lily reminded him they’re away in school.

LOL you know it’s bad when Billy & Lily having a romantic night together is the highlight of the week thus far.

The Mariah kidnapping story makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever.

Well that was fast considering the end of today’s episode 😂 Last we saw Sheila she was being LA’s biggest busybody at that fancy restaurant they use to go. Perhaps now her portrait is complete, with Eric being so impressed by her work on the self portrait that he becomes her patron of the arts and invites her back into the mansion to keep him company with his divorce from Quinn finalized. Except now Sheila has to go toe to toe with Donna who wants her honey bear back!🤣🤣🤣

One would think Sally would go stay at the GCAC however I can’t even remember the last time that set was even used now or was even mentioned.

That’s because Stafford’s Phyllis has become a major twit herself. Seriously is another crossover story coming with Phyllis meeting Eric? Ugh.

Problem is with Kyle and Bummer already leaving and out the door it’s hard to care and even watch this story, because once it ends there is nothing, absolutely nothing Phyllis and Sally unless they have Sally open up her own hotel or some [!@#$%^&*] like that . My guess is Courtney Hope will be out next. Too bad Stafford isn’t let go too because she is horrible. Such a pointless character Phyllis has become since her return, doing nothing but wear one shoulder cocktail dresses as she day drinks with orange stains on her skin from her spray on tan 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why exactly did Finn & Steffy name their kid Hayes? Lol I know she used it professionally for years but the name came from her unbalanced ex. Wouldn’t Hamilton, Jack, or yes even naming him after Taylor have been more appropriate? Maybe Thudley forgot his own show’s history. Agreed. Not to mention the conversations and phone calls Ridge & Eric keep making to Carter are really contrived. Like why does Carter need to be at their constant beck and call?

Paris moving in with Finn & Steffy is completely random and kind of dumb lol. So is the fact that Quinn and Carter are still continuing their affair in secret even though Carter offered to leave Forrester. There is absolutely no stakes to the story anymore and is senseless.

The weirdest thing I find about Ben is how long after he and Ciara reunite will he hit the sheets with Claire? Their story sucks period.

Oh no they weren’t, I meant to imply they were involved in the story. I remember Dylan moping around to Michael in their apartment but Maggie was already moved on fawning over Connor for a quick minute. I liked Connor & Brooke. Also enjoyed Connor & Sheila together. The Connor/Karen affair was at a time when B&B could still have room for C and D plots. It’s a shame his character was later maligned on.

Summer/Fall 1995 was a transitional period for the show as the show’s big storylines were winded down for new ones to start. Sheila story given a breather, Prince Omar left on 8/4/95, Macy & Thorne back reconciled etc. Instead we got Maggie/Dylan/Jessica with Michael & Connor involved(was that Connor’s last substantial story lol?), Lark Voorhies falling down the Spectra elevator shaft, and a preteen Rick tossing a cream pie into the face of the fat kid who played CJ.

LOL I spit out my cranberry juice laughing once I got the mere thought of having Quinn or a recast Sheila running around LA in Brooke mask pretending to be Brooke and the story actually working. The definite pitfall I can see though with Carlivati is that we’d get the same old terrible Thomas/Hope obsession plot like Ben & Ciara at the moment. No thanks. On the flip side I have always wondered how Marland would’ve done if he ever had to take over Y&R. Or how Reilly would’ve been if he had not gone full on supernatural/full on trashy Jerry Springer tales
