This was wonderful. Usually you see a lot of nice things said about someone when they pass, but Drake truly comes across as the most well liked man there could’ve been in Daytime.

That’s how I took it as well. Today was a day that revolved heavily around a story that John was involved in so it made sense to me. I think 10 minutes is being generous to make that 😂

10/28 And today we get a duality Sonny episode. He gets to do minor criminal stuff with Holly and Jason that’s light hearted and then he’s great supportive father to Dante at the hospital. Hell he even told Jason family is everything while going to check on Jason’s baby mama who didn’t seem to care one bit about Sam now. You honestly wouldn’t know Jason and Spinelli were ever close with how little they’ve interacted since Jason came back from the dead. I can’t say I’ve actually minded though because Spinelli as a family man has toned him down significantly than when he was in the constant Jason/Carly/Sam/Sonny vortex. Oh [!@#$%^&*] Cody’s drunk ass blurting out the Drew secret! Now that was unexpected! But damn that story could’ve been so much juicier but the new writers clearly didn’t care about it. Color me shocked to hear Sam made it through surgery fine.

I honestly didn’t realize it until I saw a poster mention it. They really Jedi mind tricked me away from thinking about the story that pissed me off. All of the Liz/Ric/Lucky stuff like you said thus far has been very organic. If it can spin off to Ava and Ric without anyone feeling like a loser I’d love it.

Like I knew Sonny wouldn’t pay for Jagger’s murder but holy sh.it. The way it’s just been totally not mentioned now that Alexis is out of prison and Sonny didn’t confess is just wow. And now I’m stuck still watching because I’m enjoying Ric so much, Liz being used allll the time now, curiosity about the Willow/Drew/Nina story the writers don’t care about, and wanting to see how they end a 2 decade plus character in Sam. I do love that they keep finding ways for Ric to come to Liz for things and the sitcom nature of it actually does work with them. Give me Ric/Liz/Lucky into Ric/Ava!

Javi felt very stereotypical to me and the actor is going to need to work on his enunciating.

JPL reminding me why I haven’t been a fan of his acting for over a decade dating back to OLTL. Why is his Phillip so damn campy? Like chill dude. I could understand JKJ never coming back with Ron writing.

I enjoyed Stefan personally.

I much prefer JKJ as well. Not his fault the writing for Phillip was just god awful.

It’s pretty sucky our last full on Davis girls scene was them all fighting. I assume they’ll use Sam’s death to make Molly forgive Kristina which also sucks.

This is good news. I’ve always enjoyed Casey Moss and JJ. I thought Johnny would be a little messier like early JJ but he’s so blah. It’s actually amazing with who Johnny’s parents and grandparents are, that he’s so Blah. But I think it might be Carson as well.

Pretty much all of her scenes in the last week or so have felt more like the actors saying goodbye to their friend.

I just finished watching RHONY and @Cat you and I are usually on the same page but I find Brynn to be awful. She wants to be a housewife gangster but once she’s challenged she’s the victim. I feel like she’s trying to not only gaslight her castmates but the audience as well. You can’t be a pot stirrer and a cry baby. Yay more Kyle crying and saying she’s done. At least Dorit is activated.

Loren Lott never should’ve been fired in the first place.

Ric suggesting to Liz he move in with her and Heather was hilarious. 😂😂 The Sam scenes are so obviously final it actually kind of sucks. I’ve thought Scott Reeves has looked terrible and Sun damaged since he was last on the show tbh.

10/22 Ava is crushing HARD on Ric, and I’m so here for it. AND we got a LiRic scene in the same episode. So happy. I see the writers remembered Nina was alive. What is on, once every two weeks at this point? I had to laugh at Ric freaking out once he realized he did his job too well and got Heather out 🤦🏽‍♂️. He won’t be losing his town pariah status anytime soon lol. And Portia made him announce it to the whole party 😂. @Taoboi I’m all in on Jordan and Isaiah. You mentioned either last week or the last, he looks at her like she’s the only woman in the world like Ric does Liz. Molly and TJ don’t even feel like a couple at times. They went through such a huge loss and they’re not being there for each other at all, Molly in particular seems like she’d rather be anywhere else with anyone else when TJ is around. I liked Stella’s advice. Them earrings on the TJ actor are doing it for me. He looks yummy especially dressed up. I like the representation the Ashfotd family brings to an extremely white show, so none of them have bothered me since I started watching. I think there was still a place for Marshall. The show allowing Sonny’s son to have his natural hair but forcing the show polish on Sonny is stupid. It is perfectly okay for these vets to age. I forgot Sam and Lucas were even siblings. But they had nice scenes. Van really has had chemistry with all of his onscreen family, it’s been nice. Enjoyed the Holly and Anna scenes. You can just feel there’s a lot of history there. Intrigued by Sonny and Holly.

Yeah I’m not getting mental issues just straight up extremely moronic guy on a soap.

10-21 As I’ve mentioned I’ve only been back since May so Violet has never annoyed me. I thought all of the scenes with her departure were really well done by all and felt real. That little actress is pretty good at heavy stuff at her age. As someone else mentioned the Sam/Lulu stuff would work so much better for me if I didn’t know the BTS aspects. As it is I just watch every scene and count them as the final ones Sam is having with everyone. Those Drew and Jason scenes in particular. I think more Holly and Robert flashbacks might help this story more. I enjoyed the brief 5 second one but as is most of their history seems to have occurred before I was born.

This Johnny/Chanel crap is so stupid. If he cheats on her when he’s had zero proof of any sort of affair, I hope she permanently leaves him.

I just got my ENTIRE life!!
