I prefer Lawson because he has life behind his eyes. I’ve always thought Josh Kelly dating back to OLTL had very dead eyes. Also Lawson is a much more charismatic actor imo. I didn’t see any of his GH run though.

Looks like I’m still not going to like Kristina for the foreseeable future. She’s gone from being shocked that her dad is a criminal to now wanting her criminal father and his Hitman to kill Ava. Wow don’t tell me Sonny was actually right about Cates 🙄. Enjoyed all of the scenes today surrounding Lulu.

Today felt like genuine soap opera. Loved everyone slowly finding out Brady was the driver. Fiona is obviously going to get caught by someone overhearing one of her 1000 confessions out loud.

I’ve always loved semi villains played by charismatic actors so because of how much I enjoy Hearst I just don’t care about Ric’s crimes 😂. ESPECIALLY on this show of all shows.

EJ was positively giddy at the thought of prosecuting Brady which honestly doesn’t feel out of character for him at all to me. Even going back to James Scott’s EJ, Brady and EJ have hated each other, I believe due to Nicole if memory serves me right. The Maggie and Sarah scenes were great. As someone else mentioned, this just proves Maggie didn't need retconned children. I'm just glad Daniel's death actually seems permanent. John and Marlena had the Salem brain today.

The Ric and Alexis scenes today did not disappoint at all. He really did come off as a great concerned parent and I thought Alexis actually held her own. But it is ridiculous that she has to coddle Kristina because she’ll fall apart if her parents don’t treat her like she’s 5 and the most special girl in the world. Was actually surprised and pleased with the Molly and Dex scenes today. Carly, Ric, and Liz as brief as it was was perfect. I do love that no matter what, when Ric is anywhere near Liz he can’t take his eyes off of her. I wouldn’t mind another round of Ric and Liz.

Couldn’t happen to a better person.

I’m very intrigued about the connection fake Abby, Dr. Greene, and Clyde all share. Man Chad and the town are going to look like the biggest dummies when this comes out. It’s like none of them have lived in Salem all these years. Did not expect the twist of Kristen getting rid of Brady’s car but I liked it. Hopefully she was smart enough to not be the one in the car herself. Fiona truly is a piece of work. Tate and Holly are legitimately morons.

This is shocking. I really like Sam with the Davis girls and echo others that they could’ve just hired LH instead of killing Sam off entirely. KM looked pretty bored for a lot of her run except when she was with BM.

You know how much I loved that story. Now both Ashley and Tucker are gone. As much as I love Audra and the Abbott’s outside of Kyle, that’s not enough for me right now.

Honestly after picking up GH full time again and the Ashley story ended it, it was so easy to drop Y&R and the lack of sets is a huge part for me. Going from GH that has a million sets to the emptiness of Y&R and its seemingly 5 sets just doesn’t work for me.

I’m also not a fan of Adam Huss at Nikolas. My limited viewings of him didn’t give me Nikolas vibes at all but maybe that would change if he was on long term. Regardless I’m fine with another recast, so you’re not alone @Sapounopera.

Watching now and KM is back as Sam today 🤦🏽‍♂️.

8/22 Didn’t Ava directly cause Papa Shawn’s death? Why is Roman sitting here being her therapist 😂😂. EJ is so wrong for telling “Abby” all the messy sh.it for his own amusement. Are he and Chad even on bad terms right now? I actually really bought the emotions between Stefan and Gabi in those scenes in her office. Really great. Always love Chad and Julie scenes. Really makes Chad feel part of the Hortons even while Abby is dead.

That Phillip dialog almost made me turn off the episode. Who is this supposed to appeal to? I wish there was something other than Body and Soul to get all these characters to interact. The day RC is gone I want them to never reference and pretend Body and Soul never happened.

Their chemistry is my favorite. Sadly with the AZ situation we won’t get any Sami/Nicole which is also always great. Couldn’t agree with all of this more!

I just wonder why no one questioned how Abigail grew several inches on top of getting a new face. I don’t know what she was trying to do. I was trying to picture Missy playing that and I honestly just couldn’t see it. I dislike Missy as a person but she’s Jennifer to me. Cady was decent during the months she was playing the time jump. But during the pop ins she’s not very good. 8/19 In what world would Jack and Jennifer leave right after getting their daughter back from the dead. I wish Jennifer would trust that first instinct she had. Really enjoyed Gabi confronting Ava and Stefan. NuGabi has really owned the role now. I miss CB, but the new actress is doing really well. Connie the campy serial killer is soooo annoying for me. And I like Melinda so that’ll be annoying if she’s killed off too.

8/23 Cemetery scenes were AMAZING. I’m so glad that Molly laid it all out. I’m glad they showed the flashbacks too which again just show how awful Kristina is. If we’re supposed to feel sympathy for Kristina it’s not working. She was going to steal that baby and didn’t care how it would affect her sister at all. And Alexis knew. I saw a lot of the Lulu/Maxie friendship early on so I thought KS did really well with comatose Lulu. Were Dante and Lulu broken up when she went in her coma? Oh man I hope Jordan runs into BOTH Alexis and Kristina and reads them the riot act. NLG is so believable as the mom of the Davis girls. Even with this whole new crop of actresses, the chemistry is there. Nice Friday cliffhanger with Lucky. Really enjoyed the Ric and Molly scenes as well.

8/22 i skipped all of the James/Cody and Deception scenes so this was another really great episode to me. Pleasant surprise to see LH pop up for such an important episode for the Davis women. KM hasn’t even been bad lately, but when LH plays Sam she’s so alive and vibrant. I would love to have her back on a soap permanently one day. Been a fan dating back to Passions. So happy seeing Ric swoop in to be there for his daughter. It’s clear where Alexis’ priorities have been. Everything surrounding the funeral was just done so well. Kristina my gosh, the nerve. I am SO glad Molly overheard what she called the baby and went OFF. Because she’s right, Kristina was more concerned about mobster daddy than the baby she was planning to steal from her sister. And please annoying poster do not tell me I’m wrong for saying she was stealing her sisters baby. The Sonny and Ava scenes were interesting. I almost believe Sonny with how seriously they’ve shifted Jagger so quickly. Overall I’m really enjoying the show right now. Most everything is working for me, except the lack of Liz.

She is sooooo unlikeable. They don’t even try to hide the bias 😂

8/21 Go Trina! Tell hypocritical ass Joss what’s what. Her mom’s best friend is literally a Hitman. Josslyn is truly Carly’s daughter. Her empty threat to Ava was laughable. I’m glad Ava opened up to Trina, they have a really nice relationship. I hope they keep her as Ava’s ally. Kristina actually thought Molly and TJ needed to consult with her to name their own baby? My gosh I find myself disliking her more and more each day. Lord they are determined to completely ruin Jagger. This feels like when RC brings back past characters for the sake of history and then completely ruins them or kills then off. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jagger leaves port Charles in a body bag. Showing up the day of the memorial and getting Ava to make a false statement as well damn. Oop Jason went off on Anna and it was well deserved even though I thought she made good points to him about still working for Sonny all these years later. Anna didn’t even sound like she believed it herself when she said she was going to take down Sonny. Molly found the papers holy shi.t! I’m ready for her to go ALLLLL the way off on Kristina. Really enjoyed all of the Ashford family scenes. Just great acting all around.

It’s funny, despite all of the terrible things Ric did through the years, I was ALWAYS on his side over Sonny. 8/19 I know it won’t end well in his favor but Jagger arresting Kristina to spite Sonny was hilarious and amazing. Molly coming to the realization that Kristina is responsible for her own tumble out the window is great. I also liked Jordan calling out Molly for her immediate treatment of TJ and the family after the baby died. Someone in the writing staff HATES Anna. Did I miss Valentin somehow being the absolute love of her life? All of this weeping over keeping Valentin alive just because of her guilt over Charlotte is stupid.

I was actually a fan of Ric/Claudia and also Claudia’s friendship with Nikolas. But SJB/RH had definite chemistry but alas she needed to be killed off and obsessed with Sonny.

Please for the love of god don’t tear up in every scene this go round.
