I’m just happy it’s not Emme Rylan. Hated her on Y&R and hated her on GH. I just don’t mesh with her acting style which doesn't help with her bad writing as well.

Ahh yes, the status quo has instantly returned. The bad guys are ALWAYS somehow misunderstood and justified.

She’d essentially be right there with her father for me, which I guess would be appropriate.

Honestly thank god the baby is gone because I would not have been able to stomach Kristina keeping her sister’s baby because she changed her mind 8 months in.

Pretending like what Kristina was doing is cool because of the “law” is absolutely ridiculous. If she kept that baby or made it a custody battle she’d be a terrible person and basically tell her sister I don’t give a [!@#$%^&*] about you. You encouraging this is odd.

Thank you. This is exactly how I feel. That was Molly and TJ’s baby until Kristina decided to change Her mind and ended up getting the baby killed. I almost did. When Sonny gets full custody again which I’m almost positive about, I think I’m going to be done watching. I’ll catch Ric scenes on YouTube and just read this thread to see if there’s anything else worth catching up on.

8/7 And just like that Sonny’s tampered meds is wrapped up in a pretty bow. How stupid. Now he’s going to be fine and as per usual he will now get one over on Ava and she’s going to lose custody of her child because he got bored of her 🤦🏽‍♂️. This writing is so stupid.

The main thing I remember about Brenda was this awkward obnoxious laugh VM kept doing at the most random times back in 2011. But I do appreciate everyone’s position. I think I just hate Sonny and MB’s acting so much, I truly can’t be happy with him ever getting a happy ending even if his pairing was popular in the 90’s.

So they fired the previous HW team only to bring back one of them to still co-HW. How does that make a lick of sense? Did he suddenly get better ideas than the ones that got him canned? PM set so much good stuff in motion to the point that honestly GH became my favorite soap of the now three I’m watching since I came back to GH, but man it’s been obvious something has changed drastically and not for the better. Also tbh if MB has made his whole life and mental health well being, playing Sonny then that’s on him. The show catering to him and Burton throughout the years has been so stupid and why the show suffered so much. You guys seem to really love Brenda but I have no clue why you think Sonny the unrepentant mob boss deserves a happy ending with a nice character. Tbf I have zero 90’s relationship with Sonny and Brenda and only have seen them from Brenda’s return during the awful Balkin story, but there was definitely chemistry but that doesn’t erase 20 years that I’ve watched(well ignore the ones I skipped) of Sonny being a mobster and having several people killed. Sonny is no hero and should be shot and killed alone as his ultimate ending.

It’s weird, some of the shows are now allowed to say reunion while other casts are still saying New York. They’ve gotta stop treating us like idiots after all the 4th wall breaking and just let all franchises call it the reunion.

I was completely anti-Kristina with how she was acting in regards to the baby, I can’t imagine a lot of the audience supported her stealing her sisters kid either. But now it feels like I got invested in all of that for none of it to matter. I did enjoy seeing all the flashbacks to everyone calling Sonny out on his sh.it. I’m so confused why Ava has overly complicated matters for herself. Why did she need to move the very real bag that Kristina somehow tripped so hard she fell through an entire window. Honestly shouldn’t the Metro Court be investigated about having windows so thin that you can shatter the entire wall from a minor trip?

7-31 I knew Sonny and Carly’s offscreen kid must be young but for me to see Donna for the first time and realize she’s the same age as Carly’s grandson was just wow. Why exactly did Sonny and Carly need another kid especially in their I’m assuming 50’s and 60’s? Anna absolutely sucks now. Just completely sucks. I love Scotty and Ava together. Ava typically loses so I’ll just enjoy her scheming until Sonny ultimately takes Avery from her.

7-30 Jagger bringing up Sonny murdering AJ right to both their faces only made me support him more. And just like that the stupid ass status quo of this show remains the same. Be opposed to Sonny, Carly, and Jason, actual criminals, and you will be considered the bad guy. Carly getting off like this is exactly why I stopped watching GH. And am I to assume now that the whole Pikeman storyline was just pointless? Valentin and Brennan are both free? I really had such high hopes for this show in the previous months I had been watching, but the shift in writing is overly noticeable and not for the better. I don’t see how much longer I’ll be holding on.

7-26 Oh I’ve just about had it with Kristina at this point. Has she accepted the fact that her sister will NEVER speak to her again if A. They have to go to court. B. She somehow wins and takes this baby Molly and TJ. I’ve disliked Kristina off and on through the years but right now and especially after what she said in the Perez interview, I’m just completely over her. Which sucks because she’s played by one of my favorite actresses in daytime 😂. I despise Sonny but I’ve always loved the casting of DZ as Dante because he and Maurice genuinely look related. It doesn’t happen all the time on soaps but I love it when it does. Loving Ava with Jagger. Unfortunately that means both of them will be losing to the three hero’s of PC Sonny, Jason, and Carly 🙄. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

July 25th I’m finally accepting the Molly recast and today went a long way to helping with that. The way she read Kristina down was PERFECT. Kristina is completely out of line. A couple has a fight so now she wants to keep their baby for herself? GTFOH. I don’t think TJ and Molly are overreacting at all.

Jagger will probably die soon enough. Can’t have openly hostile to Sonny type people for too long.

She was an extremely lukewarm actress. It honestly felt like her first acting gig. I’d much prefer a strong recast.

I honestly don’t need Cates reasons to matter. Sonny sucks and anyone trying to take him down, works for me.

7/24 Jason is really fine leaving his kids again for Carly because she decided to have a kid with Sonny when they were both middle aged 🤦🏽‍♂️ Ava is so silly thinking she could convince Nina to be on her side now. Great scenes though. This show really had Kristina call Natalia the homophobe, THE REAL VICTIM?! This is the kind of stuff that turns me off of shows very quickly.

Has Ashley appeared at all? Anything interesting with the Abbott’s in general? The last full episode I watched Diane fired Kyle and I was into that but not enough to watch a months worth of episodes.

The lack of consequences for Sonny, Jason, and Carly is actually what ran me off the show for the better part of the last decade. I had been enjoying PM’s work but if these three are suddenly heroes again it will be a struggle for me. There are two returns I’m curious about that may keep me around briefly. I’m only on 7/24 but Anna has basically been ruined in a matter of weeks.

It’s such a smart idea to have them together on a regular housewives night, so of course they didn’t do it 🤦🏽‍♂️. OC is having a great season but I keep forgetting to watch on Thursdays.

RC never learned that and truly thought the whole show should be one long comedy with a sprinkle of seriousness.

Daniel Jonas was pretty hated despite the show constantly propping him. As for my wishes. Kill off Leo. Immediately. Permanently. And no character grieves or mourns. Bring back Jack, Jennifer, AND JJ. I actually have no issue with the amount of DiMeras, but I would use Tony and Anna more as the heads of the family. Honestly just make it feel like a serious show again and not something we’re supposed to laugh at.
