The fact that this show is catering to two nothings in the soap world comparatively is just another symptom of how stupid the behind the scenes is at this show. They filmed those awful scenes and said oh yeah we did it and moved on. Pathetic. Actors have been fired on soaps for less even on this same damn show.

That final scene with Mary and Robert Jr. was definitely the most real thing I’ve seen on housewives well since the feds came looking for Jen Shah. It was so real and so uncomfortable but was exactly why we watch these shows. These real moments used to be the norm before everyone began self producing.

Cady had to play both the death of Abigail AND Laura. I really wish Missy had been used for both.

You’re right. With Cady it always feels like it takes a few episodes for her to find her footing while Missy the instant she’s onscreen, is Jennifer. I actually liked Cady during the Time Jump but I can’t say she’s been good in these small returns. I’m so glad it’s Missy here for Doug’s death as well. It really wouldn’t have worked for me with Cady.

Honestly I’m in total agreement. Jen has never even been a favorite of mine mainly due to the Daniel Jonas years but he ruined just about every character he touched. But like you said she’s used so infrequently, at this point I’d rather it just be Missy.

🙌🏽🙌🏽 Nothing would please me more. Leo is not even a character you can love to hate. He’s just an albatross on the show for me. He bothers me to my core the way Sonny on GH does.

I hate that we have so much time left to see how the new writers handle Leo.

It’s certainly a choice to end a holiday episode on the death of a vet. And totally agreed on Missy. I didn’t realize how much I missed her as Jennifer until today. Cady can be fine but ultimately Missy IS Jennifer. It’s a total waste of a hot new viable character to latch him onto what should be the town pariah, but RC is the only person on the planet who doesn’t view Leo that way.

The ending while expected was still sad but man Days absolutely awful background music robbed the moment of what could’ve been.

The thing is, it fits with Laura never really being my Carly. She’s always been the Carly I had to accept because it’s been 20 years.

I happen to be up In time for Days to drop. So I normally don’t watch Days on my 70inch in my living room and I honestly regret doing that today. Without the old soap opera fog, the show is so high def now it just looks like actors on a set instead of an actual soap opera. I hope there’s a producer that realizes soaps still need that extra flair to them visually, cause my god this is terrible. And I never noticed because I watched on a smaller tv in my office. All of these characters on the show have reasons to hate Clyde, but he’s managed to outsmart everyone. At this point even Stefano would be scared of Clyde somehow. The scenes with Jennifer and Jack seeing fake Abby absolutely needed to be Missy playing Jennifer. And they were way less cooky than whatever Cady was doing as Jennifer last time. Everything about this return needed to be Missy.

Carly dressing like a soccer mom these days is CRIMINAL.

They don’t even need to script these two doing the deed anymore if what we got today is what they’re giving us. This was just awful. I love when soap kids make sense because of who their parents are. Similar to Rachel on Days being exactly what a child by Kristen DiMera should be. James is perfect as Maxie’s son and I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes with Lulu. Also loved him pointing her out in the picture album. Lulu fresh out of her coma just going place to place was hilarious. The ending with Rocco being the first one to run into Lulu from her family was perfect! Also loved Liz and Lucky getting the footage and realizing she’s awake as well. Honestly wanted Ric to go a little harder in embarrassing Kristina but it was fun while it lasted. I hope Ava gets off. I’d be perfectly fine with a Kristina break. The writing has ruined my enjoyment of one of my favorite daytime actresses.

Get her Ric!! The second he called her out for going around saying she was doing this wonderful thing for her sister but then decided to keep the baby I was so in. THIS is what I’ve been waiting on. Omg these scenes were everything I needed. RH was born for this role. Kristina jumped right into calling that baby hers reeeeeeal fast. I can’t get over how great and healthy Kirsten Storms looks now. So we’re really going with Cody never saw a single picture of Dante’s ex that’s in a coma. Potential triangle?

I was honestly shocked Kristina didn’t get upset all the times the attorney was as calling the baby Irene. Ric is absolutely going to bring it out of her and I can’t wait. I haven’t been this excited for a GH episode in a awhile.

I’m only excited for the Ava trial to see Ric dog walk Kristina.

Oh god please tell me they’re not going to have us think Cody who is best friends with Dante and has also been to Maxie’s house enough times to see a picture of her with her, be completely clueless as to what Lulu looks like. But this is the same show where a Federal agent got murdered and because the first suspect wasn’t correct, the Feds just moved on 😂

Marlena being a talk to for Leo is such a waste of an iconic character.

Drew tells Michael they need to have an honest conversation, and he immediately starts it by lying 🤦🏽‍♂️. He’s such a sleaze now, I love it. He’s totally using Aurora to try and smooth things over with Michael while lying straight to his face. Michael acting like a Quartermaine and recording the convo, was perfect too. This Willow affair is about to put Drew on an island because he won’t stop lying. Chad played those scenes so well. His complete disgust with lying ass Drew just below the surface. Poor Curtis. His friend is betraying him and doesn’t have the balls to even tell him. I know it’s unpopular around these parts but I actually like the current Jordan actress. At one point they had a little flirtation between her and Drew but obviously it went nowhere. I also don’t mind Curtis or the actor. Again alot of my opinions are colored by being away from the show for years, so I assume I missed Curtis phoning it in. Kristina on the stand was annoying as expected. I’m ready for Ric to rip her apart as a witness. So glad the Lulu story is moving. It really helps that Alexa favors the Lulu I preferred. Excited to see where this goes and hopefully no more massive breaks in movement.
