That is so funny I didn’t even think about the amount of lawyers on canvas now and like you said it doesn’t feel like any of them are stepping on each others toes. There’s so many criminals in this town it actually makes sense to spread the wealth.

10/14 One thing this show is going to do over and over again is let Sonny get away with his crimes again. We finally had him about to do the right thing, but no why would cold blooded murderer ever pay for anything. And then the smugness. Just ick and not fun writing at all. But I guess someone out there enjoys this. Loved the brief Ric and Liz scene of course. Even when she’s mad at him, the chemistry is there. Also enjoyed Ric with Curtis. Ric just belongs on the canvas. Brad making Portia squirm was amusing even if she hasn’t annoyed me being rude to him like others here. It was a smart play by him. One thing the new writers are doing well is the use of Liz. It feels like she’s on almost every day and I never tire of her. Molly still having no time for Kristina is perfect.

Today was pretty great stuff with Xander and Fiona. I agree we should’ve been getting more scenes of their relationship instead of everything else. Really we didn’t even need to have Sarah’s accident so quickly after Fiona arrived but oh well. Johnny is a complete moron. He just decided his wife must be cheating on him because he’s insecure 🙄.

Thank you for saying this. I’ve never understood why the lower budgets meant it still couldn’t be filmed interestingly. As you said that should be more the norm these days to cover for budgets.

I was soooo happy you also caught that Molly and Anna scene. A completely dropped plot point so Anna could fall back in line as a mob apologist.

I’m so mad it looks like Dante is going to stop Sonny from confessing so he will get away with yet another murder. It would not be GH if Sonny wasn’t made out to be a fuc.king martyr. He HAD to kill Jagger 🙄. I hate this show.

“This can’t be how it ends for Sonny.” That one line from the brain dead Hitman summed up why it’s starting to feel like I’m back to hate watching this show. These are the leads of the show talking about a cold blooded murder we saw on screen.

The first Steven Lars with the curly hair I believe was much better. Scott Reeves aged the character by 20 years.

Gosh it would be amazing if it helped the show visually. Days looked AMAZING under him. It was wild.

A deadbeat asking advice from another deadbeat. Just as annoying when Sonny was giving him advice. And Lucky immediately just happy to dip out on his son after having one conversation with him, is just bull. Awful. Speaking of annoying and Sonny. This man just killed a man, and his daughter’s mother is in jail for it currently, I assume a few weeks ago in soap time and I’m supposed to enjoy him sitting around making googly eyes at the bigot 🙄

It really tells you the type of people that are behind the scenes. The gay character is written off the show, but the homophobic mother is kept to flirt with Sonny. But honestly if I want representation as a gay black man, I find it outside of soaps.

I found with how great Emma Samms looks, it really makes TR look even older as Robert these days.

I’ve been a strong Julie fan even in the times people have disliked her and that’s down to SSH never phoning it in. She’s the perfect Horton matriarch now if only they could bring back some Hortons. I do love her relationship with Chad though.

I was watching that while I was working earlier and recognized her voice before I saw her face. Do we have any updates on a trailer or release date?

I can’t believe how much time Days spends on Body and Soul. I pray this is why RC will be gone before next Summer. Days stupid filming schedule making us have to suffer through this for months. I wonder how many fans they’ll lose by the end of this.

Is Natalia completely unaware that Sonny is a mobster?

9/25 I wanted to see the Sharon episodes regarding Heather’s death. Had a quick question, is Sharon off her meds or not? Are her meds just not working anymore?

Having three major exes of Liz in town all at the same time with such varied histories with her literally writes itself. Couldn’t agree more Hearst always plays that throughline. I missed a lot of them together in real time as well. But I like what I like and see what I see lol. Onto 10/7 Kirsten Storms looks amazing. PM was using her as Maxie really well to me and she was coming alive again, but she’s a day player under these new writers. Hopefully when Lulu wakes up she has more to do. She and VH had instant chemistry together. Van actually feels like he’s been on this show for a long time. It’s crazy how he seems to fit with all of these actors like he’s been playing opposite them the whole time. Good recast. Actually enjoyed the Lucky and Aidan scenes but it doesn’t seem like either Aidan or Liz are really mad at Lucky for choosing to be a dead beat for a decade. Continuing to enjoy the new Aidan but it seems like most of the teens are no longer any sort of priority on the show and Aidan is already talking about going to school on another continent just like Jake so I’m not getting attached. I love vets even if I don’t have long histories with them so I enjoyed the Holly and Felicia scenes. A lot of these actors have worked off and on together for so many years, you can just feel the connections between the character. I missed when Violet was on all the time so she doesn’t bother me. Also I liked Finn’s friendship with Tracy so her being involved with Violet doesn’t annoy me at all and makes sense.

Yeah GV was my Lucky. When Sam, Liz, Jason, and Lucky all ran into each other in the hall at the hospital there was this air of tension obviously but it didn’t really work for me because I can’t see Sam ever being with JJ’s Lucky and she was quite hot with GV. Stretching out a villain for too long seems to be soapswide issue these days.

Gosh I missed so much of the Nelle story. I just remember people posting they were ready for her to go on here. I’d love another young villain for the characters in that age range to deal with.
