I thought he was good sometimes (if a bit raw) on GL and pretty consistently good on AMC. And he’s hot. I think he’d be motivated to step up with really good actors like he was opposite PAS, et al. But I think there could be better options out there.

When the writing is there, Jordi can be good. The problem is that the writing is rarely there on these shows, so you need someone who can compensate like Nicholas Chavez can. You need somebody who can bring what NC is bringing, which is a tall order because he’s brilliant.

Yeah that was weird. It was like he was going for TGVN-type stoicism, but Eric Braeden would given us more than that.

Here’s the teaser for the Netflix doc, which premieres January 13:

I’m assuming they wanted to address the elephant in the room with Billy and Chelsea, and Billy said that to appease a deeply damaged woman who just attempted suicide. But that dialogue is incredibly misguided. I definitely want characters less sanitized and writers to be less concerned about sending “the wrong message” and more concerned about being truthful (people IRL say effed-up things and these shows should reflect that). But this is just clumsy and unnecessary.
