  1. I didn’t realize the show Nashville was so big in the U.K.
  2. You’re in NYC too, right? He’s in Soho.
  3. More of Sandro from the Great British Baking Show 🇬🇧
  4. @AbcNbc247
  5. I like it a lot better LOL.
  6. Does feel like they were going for a Gatsby thing.
  7. I like the idea of B&W to color but it just doesn’t work very well here. If they had a budget and could update it, it would be of course cool to have a B&W pencil sketch to color live-action thing, but that’s a nice dream for a soap, especially in 2023.
  8. I was just saying it reminded me of the title font for Homefront.
  9. It looks super cheap. The idea of going from B&W to color is cool (I like Bryton’s shot), but of course they botched the execution. And the title screen reminds me of the cheap GH opening from the 2010s. Actually, GH’s one might look better.
  10. The font reminds me of Homefront.
  11. “He had a stroke at the age of 24…”
  12. I always wanted Y&R to bring back Tatyana to play Roxy as an unstable bitch as a spoiler to Devon/Hillary, partially to mature Hillary into a sort of strong heroine as opposed to a town pariah.
  13. Omg. Don’t even get me started on that. They did him so dirty over the years. It’s almost shocking he’s still on the show after all this time. No disagreement here. It’s not worth the effort to make something of Abby. We see how she’s left out of both her families’ stories (the Newman sibling rivalries and the Diane stuff), so her bloodlines don’t even give her that much benefit.
  14. Miley’s back!
  15. They are so bad together. There isn’t enough of a personality difference between them. I thought Emme Rylan’s more openly spoiled Abby worked much better with Devon (and they should have gone there with them with her in the role), maybe simply because ER played Abby with a stronger POV. He also worked really well with EH’s Chloe when she was a schemer. And of course his chemistry with Mishael as Hillary (but not with the more benign Amanda) is the stuff of legend. Bryton is a great actor but he’s low-key in a way that doesn’t always work on soaps. And Y&R hasn’t written for him well (in the same way they often failed the gifted KSJ). He’s very natural and easy in his interactions but he isn’t a chemistry magnet in the way that MTS and BM are, and placing him with Ordway doesn’t give him opportunities to shine. But light a match under him (like his recent work with CK and TSJ), and he blows me away.
  16. Amber Tamblyn (GH) makes a brief but memorable appearance in this trailer for Nicole Holofcener’s upcoming You Hurt My Feelings, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus:

  18. Myeong from South Korea 🇰🇷
  19. Yikes at the last line in this midseason trailer:
  20. Especially on a show where actual gay storylines were historically seen as out of the question. Not even worth discussing as a possibility, writers have said, due to Y&R’s conservative audience. Yet that and the sloppy Phillip-faked-his-death-because-he-was-gay story got the green light.
  21. Julianne Hough will step in as co-host. Her brother Derek is on the panel, of course.
  22. Seriously, it would be such a missed opportunity for her not to intervene in the Devon/Lily/Nate war.
