What do you expect from someone who defended the racists in Ferguson, MO, and who proudly displayed a Confederate flag (with Dem Duke Boyz) in their avatar? Clearly, he/she/they are going to believe our overgrown toddler of a president over the actual science. Not that I'm wishing death on anyone, per se, but if coronavirus were to rid our world, somehow, of a few extra racists, anti-vaxxers and other booger-eating spazzes, then it'd be worth the self-imposed social isolation and other drastic measures.

One thing about it: here, in OKC, we have a mayor (David Holt) whom I grew up with, and who is the ONLY Republican I could trust to be smart about this. I don't know what, if anything, he can do at the city level; but, if he has anything in mind, I'm all ears! Oh, God, I hope so, lol. I feel God has been sending us signals all along, telling us just how big of a mistake we made in electing that s.o.b. to be our leader. (Mama Khan, on the other hand, believes God sent Donald Trump, because we needed an [!@#$%^&*] in charge who wasn't beholden to anyone and who could get rid of all the pedophiles. Or something like that.). But, because we, as a country, have been misinterpreting or outright ignoring all those signals, God just decided to turn his head, as they say, and allow nature to do what it must. Perhaps now, with so many about to be sick or worse, people will FINALLY receive the message. Perhaps.

I doubt the average American takes it seriously even now. Not when people are convinced 1) you can catch this thing from drinking Corona beer or 2) you can catch it from eating Chinese food.

I'd laugh, too, if it weren't the damn truth. I'm trying my best not to panic. However, I live in a state (Oklahoma) that probably agrees with Donald Trump and FOX News that it's all a hoax and the media is inflating the numbers. Ergo, I don't believe enough Oklahomans will take this seriously at all, leaving people like yours truly (and his 71-year-old, type 2 diabetic mother) at risk. I think this country is screwed all over. But, leave it to The Donald to care more about his damn ego than he does about keeping the American public alive and well. He's gonna kill us all.

And all because we hated a Black man being our president.

Unfortunately, if he is stopped, either by invoking the 25th amendment or through #NaturalCauses2020, we're left with Mike Pence, who'll just tell everyone to go home and pray.

There's really no point in reviving DALLAS once again without Larry Hagman.

At this point, I doubt any endorsements from Elizabeth Warren or anyone else would make much of an impact upon Bernie Sanders' campaign. It seems to me, at least, that he can't appeal to anyone who isn't already in his camp. IMO, what the progressive movement lacks is a leader with broad appeal. If Pete Buttigieg had pitched himself more as a progressive, for example, more would be on board with progressives' vision for this country. But, as it is, most still reject progressivism because they simply are put off personally by Sanders and Warren.

Don't be surprised if Trump calls for the election to be cancelled in November "out of health and security concerns."

Imagine if Barack Obama had encouraged Joe Biden to run for president four years ago. Imagine where we'd be right now, instead of where we actually are. As always, I'm just saying. Frankly, I don't view the 2016 vs. 2020 numbers so much as proof of sexism amongst voters (although, I'm sure it's present) as it's proof that Hillary Rodham Clinton was just the wrong kind of candidate to put up against, well, anyone. The media AND the GOP performed a decades-long hit job on the woman's reputation that paid off in the long run. Plain, and simple.

He was sentenced to twenty-three years...but how much of that time will he actually serve?

As if journalists would risk their own lives (or those of their loved ones) JUST to infect him with coronavirus. I realize the man is a germaphobe, but that's ridiculous even for someone like him.

So, whatever role she wants to play in a presumptive Joe Biden administration, I'm down!

Only Donald Trump could politicize a pandemic, dismissing it as an attempt to depress our economy and scare voters into not re-electing him in November. The scary and sad part, however, is that people actually believe him.
