  1. No, you're not the only one, lol. If anything, I wanted this to be one time when Leo WASN'T scheming, if only because he could feel justified in getting revenge against Chad, Sonny and everyone else for messing up his one, real chance at happiness.
  2. Exactly. A Tripp/Allie/Chanel triangle, with Chanel and Tripp fighting over Allie rather than what we've come to expect, might have been fascinating to watch. But this feels so out-of-nowhere and thinly motivated that I can't get even a little bit excited. I think it would have been so much better if Sarah had returned JUST as Gwen and Xander were about to be pronounced man and wife, or even if Sarah had finally regained her identity and memories about what had happened to her. ("Listen, everyone, I know I haven't been myself lately...but I'm better now...and I remember everything." Cut to Gwen's panicked look, lol.) That way, Sarah herself, and not Abby, could have been the one to spill the beans.
  3. Something tells me Sonny's obsession with Leo is gonna lead to a Leo/Sonny redux.
  4. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear they were setting us up for a "Who Shot/Killed Gwen?" storyline.
  5. Craig is about to discover just what kind of trash he's set to marry, and I really do not feel sorry for him. At all.
  6. Agree. Ann Marcus gave Anne layers that other writers couldn't or wouldn't. AM also managed to salvage Claudia, who had been written into corners for the longest time.
  7. I've placed on hold at my library a copy of "Football for a Buck," by Jeff Pearlman. Apparently, Donald Trump fucked up the USFL, too. #everythingtrumptouchesdies
  8. SOD has got to stop asking prison inmates to do these terrifying collages.
  9. No, it wouldn't. The doll would be the one with a pulse.
  10. You know, I'd actually pay to see Sarah-as-Pearl lean out of her window and make snarky comments on everybody in Salem?
  11. Sorry to hear you've had a rough week, @DramatistDreamer, but I'm glad to know this thread has lifted your spirits!
  12. He could! After all, Jackee's on the show, and all three shows - DAYS, "227" and "The Jeffersons" - are owned by Sony. Gawd, now I can see LG in a Marla Gibbs wig, humming the "227" theme to herself while she dusts the Kiriakis living room, and gettin' after Gwen, whom she mistakes for Brenda, for runnin' around with Calvin/Xander when she should be in her room doing her homework!
  13. NEXT WEEK ON "DAYS": Sarah receives another injection -- only this time, she thinks she's Florence Johnston and she works as a maid for George and Louise Jefferson! Even better: Sarah thinks she's Mary Jenkins, she lives at 227, and she mistakes Paulina for Sondra Clark!
  14. I don't even WANT to imagine how Ron Carlivati would handle that material.
  15. I know, I know, lol. I should just be like Ron Carlivati and write silly stuff about gay men hitting on cute, straight guys while engaging in KNOTS LANDING cosplay. That's what happens when you have HW's and EP's who can't think past the noses on their faces.
  16. At the VERY least, they could have said Ashland was sterile -- perhaps, as a result of being in that car accident with the real Ashland Locke -- and that it would be impossible for him ever to have children. And his every decision in life would be haunted by that cruel twist of fate, too; wanting to build a media empire that will outlast him, because he's forever anguished over the fact that he'll never have a son or daughter to carry on the Locke family name.
  17. Or, Abby dies, Chance has a nervous breakdown and Devon assumes custody.
  18. That's not good enough. I would need the show's assurance that Abby would never return again, ever. She will NEVER be relevant to this show or to the families she's supposedly a part of.
  19. Y&R is all but admitting that Melissa Ordway's a dud and that Abby is uncastable. Maybe it's just me, but I think Y&R really shot themselves in the foot by not giving Ashland grown children from previous marriages/relationships.
  20. Why is Drew even back in Port Charles? I mean, you could have Iyanla "Fix My Life" VanZant come in and do exactly what he's doing now and nothing would be different.
  21. In which galaxy do Clyde and Nancy make sense? At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if you told me he once tried to hump Tom Horton.
  22. "Julie has a warning for TR." Oh, that's gonna play REAL well with the woke crowd!
  23. I just hope Maggie doesn't have to potty train Sarah again.
  24. Chills is a symptom of COVID, right?
  25. I thought it was so, so wrong back then; and I think it was so, so wrong now. Agree. But it didn't ruin just Christine. I think it ruined Paul as well. In fact, I think the rape made it much easier for the show to marginalize him to the point where he's never seen or even mentioned today, which is a shameful thing to do to a character that was so front-burner BITD.
