  1. I liked this past week's show, but I wish they'd take the focus off the constant struggle of money / jobs / bills / medical needs. The original was never this heavy about it ALL the time. They had plenty of other things they'd joke about, fight about, etc.
  2. Atta girl Margaret! Usurp Melissa's spot as the important lead.
  3. I like that their Christmas tree and decorations are still up, haha. I don't know if it's because they're airing these out of order of how they filmed them, or if they're just subtly saying the family is too lazy to take it all down right away.
  4. To be fair, it was one of the first things (levitating). She first levitated on Christmas Eve 1994. The show ended on that note and picked up the next episode with her still levitating. She didn't do it again until around May when they all walked in on her doing it (haha, that sounds funny) - John, Kristen, Stefano, Tony... right after John found Kristen on the rooftop of the penthouse building.
  5. Oh man, that's pretty funny. I think it's around Season 3, judging from the hair, makeup etc.
  6. I'm in agreement with all things New Jersey. This is one of their best seasons in a loooong time, but it is weird not having Danielle talking heads just to try to understand the crazy that goes on inside her stretched head. And yes, Jennifer is all sorts of irrelevant and uninteresting. I still like Dolores, but she's riding too hard for Teresa's famb-il-y. Jackie is a strong new addition, and Margaret continues to be full of win. I didn't mind the Debbie Downer comment(s) about the rain; it was Danielle's over-the-top offended reaction that was too much. Danielle and her man have already split, right?
  7. I felt the same while watching. Their old-school trailer trash is stopping in for a visit, plus we get to see plenty of LVP. And of course, the forever fan favorite Camille Donatacci Grammer! Of course, after the past few seasons, we fear a letdown, yet there's always a sparkle to BH that draws me in.
  8. Hush, lol. I said that because the Gentry bar closed over 10 years ago when I was just a wee lil baby gay
  9. Even though I'm only 35, I still wish the Gentry was there instead of Scarlet... one lowkey piano bar was nice amidst all the chaos.
  10. I don't watch VR but I'm glad to hear this footage is airing before RHOBH. Those alley cats are going to look terrible going after her for petty nonsense (P.S. I'd be pissed at Dorit's twat move too, dumping off a puppy like that)
  11. Watch Andy Cohen play Brian Kinney. I'll check it out. If it's anything of the caliber similar to Bravo's current scripted show, Dirty John (starring Golden Globe nominee Connie Britton), then I'm all in. I'd be interested in a "new generation" depicting life in 2019 and beyond, with the originals making cameos or supportive roles in their original characters. They're the old guard now, remembering how things "used to be," versus being the up and coming 30-year-old crowd nearly 20 years ago.
  12. Loved it! Hubby was watching it and I stumbled onto it about half-way in and immediately binge-watched the rest. Can't wait for season two which will fast-forward to 1990 right after Madonna's "Vogue" goes mainstream.
  13. Same idiots who... meh, you know.
  14. Cheap is NOT having it! I think the OC reunion was a success as well. It seems Kelly's hatred of Vicki has only worsened since the reunion was filmed. It could possibly make for good reality-TV, but if she's threatening not to return if Vicki is still there, I'm sorry gurl but that means filming will NOT resume for you in February... I don't think Gina is that bad. Both she and Emily got into the mix and created rifts that could easily spill over into a sophomore season for them. I could also see Bravo not wishing to pursue it and looking for a different angle. Considering there was no splashes made with Meghan, Peggy and to a lesser extent Lydia, I would say the odds of Gina and Emily staying are pretty good. NJ: Good Christ, Jennifer is so annoying and thirsty to look fabulous on camera it's not even funny.
  15. LOL at Ramona... to know her is to love her... Can't wait for Season 11 of NYC! Side note: Anyone watching "Dirty John?" It's surprisingly good. It's one of those that you kinda laugh at (the ditzy-sounding daughters; some of the absurdities) but it's also good. I love Connie Britton's aloof, dizzy, naive portrayal of this woman. (P.S. Is she still doing 9-1-1 too?)
  16. Agreed with all. Don't touch NYC. Save for a few youngsters that didn't pan out and Carole's recent exodus, the current core cast has remained intact for 4 solid years with promise already for this new one coming up. While I think BH and ATL need(ed) a cast shakeup, I hope they don't solely focus on the younger crowd. As I said recently, Real Housewives in its current state is like the daytime soaps as they neared the end of the 1990's. So here we are: 1999, Nielsen ratings freefalling, so we're beefing up the youth cast in hopes of attracting new, young viewers that'll become loyal fans for years to come. Here comes The Last Blast crowd; Jesse Metcalfe and the no-talent teens of Harmony, New England; a SORASed Marah and Shayne; MacKenzie and SORASed Billy; Liz, Lucky, Emily & whomever else was on GH; SORASed Rick and his babysitter Amber, etc. etc.
  17. Well there we have it. The Bradys delivered! haha thanks for posting!
  18. I'm two episodes behind on OC, but I checked the ratings, and their finale only got 1.1 million viewers. Ouch. I should check back on how they trended this past year, because in years past they'd always be somewhere around 1.6 - 1.9 throughout the season. Side Note: I have zero problem watching Kelly go bye-bye. Was she better and provide more material than a Peggy, Meghan, or even Lydia? Absolutely! Do I like her? Nah. But I echo the "bring back Lizzie" sentiment, along with Heather. I know some of us hold onto our hard-ons for Lizzie, but she had confidence, beauty, and the balls to go up against Tamra which is something I'd love to see return.
  19. For some reason, seeing Shamari try to ingratiate herself with the established cast reminded me of Candiace starting off on Potomac. And then it made me miss Potomac. Otherwise, Shamari is okay but a bit extra. I'm not enticed by her but will give her a chance. I'm curious to see the oncoming trainwreck that'll be Beverly Hills this season. I can't imagine it'll necessarily be "good," but just interesting to watch them try to tie this mess up together in a bow to present a narrative (© Bethenny Frankel). Meanwhile, over in New Jersey, Danielle is giving us shades of yesteryear, getting all emotional and crazy because a friend is friends with her enemy and she doesn't think her friend is being a good friend. Okay Danielle. We're already gonna be rehashing Tre vs. Mel seasons 3-5, we don't need to revisit your lunacy of seasons 1-2. Be cunning and manipulative and always stirring the pot, but don't bring the delusional stuff. Margaret's face said it all (same face she gave when Soggy was losing her marbles over the "soggy" comment last year). The Instagram photos of NYC's Ramona, LuAnn, Jill, Sonja, Dorinda etc. are the most exciting thing currently... looking forward to their return.
  20. That whole "story arc" of Porsha and her lil "argument" with her man was such filler last night. That's the problem with these two episodes. Too much Porsha and it's all nonsense filler that you'd expect on one of those "Secrets Revealed" episodes tacked on at the end after the reunion airs. BH: Awww poor Camille and her beautiful mansion Sad for Tracey Bregman too
  21. GTFO! Oh PLEASE let this be true!!
  22. Watched New Jersey last night and was pleasantly surprised. So glad Soggy is gone and Dolores can be her own person. Granted, she's kinda dumb but enjoyable. I'm glad whatever happened to her at the reunion (bad work done; weight gain) is over with. Margaret needs to get her house done. Even when the cameras are not rolling. The fact that she's literally done nothing since filming wrapped last season - even the party decorations are still up! - is silly. Meanwhile, I continue to love Marge Sr. Teresa vs. Melissa. Hmm... I don't *think* the rift will be too much of a rehash of seasons 3-5. It seems like it'll stem from Joe's absence from his & Tre's father. Danielle is still just a "friend of," right? Teresa... I'm sorry, but with the badly done lips, the process of aging, and whatever is happening to her nose (middle-age spread?), she is not looking good. When she's coated in makeup and bronzer, she looks similar to her old self, but in every day life, she looks quite goofy. Her appearance on WWHL that night, with her "asian" eyes makes me think she had a face lift or brow lift or something... I'm sure @DaytimeFan can give us his professional analysis on what's happening here. When you see how much Teresa's kids have grown, you realize just how damn long you've been watching this show. Time and real-life traumas seem to have grounded them. Looks like Gia will provide a good voice of reason for the family this season. Overall, the episode and the preview shows good potential. I'm pleasantly surprised and hope it turns out to be a good year.
  23. We moved to Wisconsin last year from Chicago and was so disappointed to see WI turn red (though our county is still blue -- Dane, where the capitol Madison is) so I'm encouraging everyone to vote and make this state a beautiful blue again.
  24. In & out in less than 10 minutes. Went in at around 7:30am
