The glory days of soaps was fantastic!! I watched all the CBS soaps and dabbled sometimes with GH in the late 80s and the Kim Zimmer years on Santa Barbara. My mom was a CBS soap watcher so I got hooked because of her with nighttime too ie Dallas and Knots Landing. I was at school at the time so I recorded them on my Sony vcr. I recall a few times forgetting to set the vcr and I'd remember at school and would rush to the public phone to call home and tell my mother to hit the record button on my vcr.😂 The soaps were so popular that the school cafeteria had the tv on YR during the lunch hour. Students had to see Nina shoot David Kimble. A usual loud cafeteria was silent as everyone was glued to the TV. When Nina shot David the cafeteria erupted in cheers. So loud that the principal came running to see what was going on.😂😂😂

The whole script was bad. I have a question though since I've tuned out several times and have forgotten... Who is Douglas mom? Why did I think it was Hope when it isn't? Thomas mentioned Caroline being his birth mom. I vaguely remember her and Thomas. Probably because the story was so bad.😂 Hope and Liam are such a dull boring couple and individuals. Thomas...that hair is horrific! He's character has been ruined. The Shelia mess is pure ft material.

The episodes are $1.99 an episode or $20 a season. That is usually what Amazon prime charges for SD episodes. They usually charge $2.99 an episode for an HD episode a la Dynasty.

I noticed season 10 looked different on HD than the previous seasons I've seen so far. The opening credits to the season finale look off as does the new graphics. I'm not sure if it because it was filmed differently that year. Because on the SD copy on FreeVee it doesn't look that way. The picture quality still looks great but the older seasons to me look even better on HD. I can't believe how clean the early year openings are and the actual episodes too. I bought so far seasons 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 , 9 and 10. The dream season episodes look outstanding!

Showtime has saved it and picked it up for a second season.

Colton Little who plays Andrew Donovan hinted that March was going to be hot. To which his Twitter fans concluded he was joining the main show. Let's hope so because there's nothing right now worth watching.

Wow! That's a big drop for AW. I was never a fan of the show. All of my family members were CBS viewers. I remember visiting my cousins who were the odd ones and watch AW....😂. I remember the rest of the extended family laughing at them for being fans of the show.

Don't know where do place this since there isn't a side bar comment section anymore. Cheers is coming to blu ray in April.

The problem with Knots Landing is that they premiered a week earlier than the rest with an 18.4 HH and 30 share. Mostly everyone's premiere was the following week and the show got trampled because of it. The storylines weren't that great except for Olivia's addiction. The cliffhanger was weak too. I thought it should've ended with the discovery of Peter's body instead of him being buried by Abby.

I noticed that on itunes they have Dynasty on HD. I really wonder if there's a difference from the DVD releases......
