  1. The lead off track "Marry The Night" http://heywyatt.tumblr.com/post/5567829633/marry-the-night-lady-gaga
  2. They kept that in the radio edit eh, I'd figure they'd cut it out. Yeah its kind of weird, there is more sax on Hair too! Hair is a fun song, but certainly not my favourite. The Edge of Glory is so far I think the best of the songs released so far. Judas is still my personal fave though.
  3. I'd buy a ticket just to see Nicki! She is by far one of the most fascinating female artists of the past few years. I am not a fan of the S&M remix with Britney... seems forced. Really liking though Till The World Ends lately.... probably my favourite Britney song since Piece of Me.

Adele's Rolling In The Deep has topped the Billboard Hot 100! It also topped the Billboard Digital Sales chart. 21 is also #1 on the Billboard 200 Album chart for a 7th non-consecutive week. 2011 is becoming the year of Adele. It will be interesting to see when Gaga's "Born This Way" drops in a week or two to see if that spurns any of her momentum. I think its shaping up to be an interesting battle between the two for the rest of the year.

Love this chick. Just got ahold of the album myself. Love Rumour Has It.
  7. New promo single released digitally today The Edge of Glory. Such an amazing, cheesy, 80's influenced pop power ballad. <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/S08KonZiew4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  8. Well officially Agnes wasn't co-headwriting until June of 1999, but there has long been discussion she was uncredited for months prior.
  9. Sure, I am not overtly familiar with Mille or her writing. And in 1999 Elizabeth Page was a co-headwriter, but only was there a few months and soon it became just Jean and Agnes.
  10. Ahh yes, the brief Mille Taggart collaboration. There's our explanation.
  11. May, 1992: Janet is beginning to go into labour while holding Natalie captive and contemplating killing her. Good Erica/Mona scenes in this episode too. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VJn8Hj9ddkk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (go to the to the 4:23 mark) Natalie: Killing me is the worst thing you could do Janet. I'm a nurse, remember? Janet: Big deal! Just because you conned a degree out of a lower institution of learning does not mean you can hold it over me! ....... Janet: Even if I were in labour.... I wouldn't need a nurse. Women used to drop babies in fields and they survived. Natalie: Some did, some didn't... Janet: Well, I'm a did!
  12. Yeah, I agree Dimitri being trashed to prop up Edmund was a bit of an issue. He really went dark during that era. Its moot now because of all that went down between Nader and ABC, but I always felt Dimitri was the type of character that could have been woven better into the canvas and he could have existed successfully beyond Erica's orbit. Its unfortunate that never came to be.
  13. Damn! LOL My favorable bias towards Lorraine Broderick is showing. The stories under her run that I didn't really enjoy I try and pass off onto McTavish I know alot of people hated it, but I stand firmly behind Lorraine's Erica/Dimitri/Maria/Edmund baby storyline. Everyone involved hit it out of the park and while it maybe didn't exactly do the character of Erica any immediate favours, I really liked how all the beats of that story unraveled. Again, another storyline I wish was up on youtube, especially the cabin scenes. There is a bit of the story on youtube when Erica is running around passing Maddie off as Sonya and debating on whether to give her back.
  14. The climax of the story that got me officially hooked. Man... I loved the fallout equally too culminating with Janet attempting to blow-up Laurel and Trevor's wedding and then deciding at the last minute not going through it. I wish that was on youtube. Remember her tying up Kendall and that WIG! LOL <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zEtVKCvsQLY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  15. It was a few weeks prior to Christmas, he probably was too busy running his sweatshop workshop. But yeah... I mean AMC was always a tad campy and such, but it always was well balanced. Stories like that one sort of bucked the trend and it kept getting worse as time went on. I got REALLY sick and tired of the contiuing ghost angle that the show really played up in its later years. Ghost Jesse, Natalie guiding that dog to heaven, ghost Dixie, etc.... I dunno.
  16. Seeing all those magazine scans from the early to mid 90's really brings the nostalgia to a record high level for me. 1991-1997 I think All My Children was one of the most consistent in terms of quality of soaps on the air. Sure after 1995 ratings started to sink, but as did most soaps, except DAYS I suppose. Its the era that connects deepest with me, I only wish I was older so I would have gotten into it more so in 1991/92 as opposed to two years later. Damn, why wasn't I born in 1975 instead of 1985 I only hope someday those episodes from AMC's glory days in the early to mid 80's and then again in the early to mid 90's become available for viewing. I remember it, and remember not being overly smitten by it. Megan McTavish, right? I applaud them for doing something with Myrtle, but it was a tad ridiculous.
  17. Some people call the Natalie In The Well Story as the beginning of the eventual downfall of AMC. To me, the story and Janet Green are among the best things to happen on AMC in its 2nd half. I only wish I was older so I could have experienced full force. Thank god for youtube! Janet Green I think has always been, and now will forever be my all time favourite All My Children character. Both The Collins and Mattson interpretations! Each brought something entirely different to the table.
  18. I am really digging Judas actually after listening to it for a few days. When I first heard it I wasn't sure what to make of it. Its kind of all over the place at times and maybe a bit overproduced, but it still has all the hallmarks of a catchy Gaga tune. I think its similarities to Bad Romance are helping it along for me as that is by far my favourite Gaga song and probably always will be. At least she's ripping herself off now and not others HILARIOUS:
  19. I never have either! My core group of friends and I play a murder mystery game every year. I'd love to get my hands on this!
  20. I like these covers better
  21. In the cultural sense she does speak in future tense..... But yeah... everytime I look at it it reminds me of the song "Born To Be Wild" as it is considered to be a biker song.
  22. Born This Way album cover......
  23. Oh my god, I love it. I had totally forgotten about that exchange. Myrtle
  24. The overall beat structure of the song is really strong and the chorus is definately the best part. Very Bad Romance-esque, but yeah... not as strong as I was hoping.
  25. JUDAS leaks! Full Clip Be prepared... it will either make your ears dance or bleed.... the jury is still out on this one... I am hoping once the official drop comes this Tues the HQ will make a difference.
