  1. Really good scriptwriting today. Nice that they've made Alison Sweeney's return worth it. She and Carson Boatman were both excellent.
  2. LSV's acting should have been included in my list of embarrassments. I mean, he is absolutely terrible. I just read an interview with him where he praised the show for its stories and writing. He went on for so long I think he meant it, and that makes me respect him even less. That whole sequence was unbelievable. It's just hard to believe what we're seeing. Daphne Rose was already a terrible character. Now we're turning her into another woman who goes evil in order to get a man.
  3. It's embarrassing to know that BOLD's ratings are up and threatening Y&R considering the slop we get daily. Just today: -- Sheila telling her granddaughter Luna that boys like bad girls. This is a "bad girl" who's a two-time murderer. -- Sending Luna in disguise to deliver a pizza to FC. -- Electra pretending she's a jewelry designer while looking over 2 plastic trays filled with junk jewelry. Oh, and Will looking like someone who dropped in and who doesn't work there at all. -- Brooke again embarrassing herself by calling Ridge the love of her life. -- Taylor again embarrassing herself by calling out Brooke.
  4. I thought both actors were very good in those scenes, but Laura Wright was definitely given the winner's dialogue. Yes, she pulled it off, but it's clear who is treated like a princess on that set. And look at Cynthia Watros -- Nina just stood there in scene after scene after scene. That was a disgraceful use of CW, and it wasn't in character for Nina to do say and do nothing but send a text to Jason.
  5. Agree with all of that. There's no rehearsal time and they clearly won't do more takes unless an entire wall falls down. Carson and Billy were both THISCLOSE to breaking and laughing out loud, and it hurt those scenes a great deal.
  6. -- Dani is entitled. Period. Claiming she isn't because she gave up her modeling career is ridiculous. Everything about her is entitled. -- Anita and Vernon raised Dani to be entitled. They enabled her in every way -- and they're still doing it. Yes, Tamara plays Anita to the hilt, but good parenting would be to sit Dani down and tell her "Consequences." Instead, they made moves that are Trumpian. -- In what world are we pretending that Dani is "getting better"? She just pulled and shot a gun at a wedding a few weeks ago, not a few years ago. She's lucky the repercussions haven't been worse. -- Hayley's gold boots were a real choice. She dresses like a street ho pretending she's going someplace fancy. -- Samantha told Tyrell "Your drip is mad basic." Are we serious with this? Is the 30-year old writing her own lines? -- Smitty is so much better at parentlng than Martin. Why go to Dani for advice if he's not going to listen to any of it? And why lead on Samantha?
  7. Carson Boatman and Billy Flynn almost broke out laughing during their Johnny/Chad scenes today.
  8. It's not the love scenes I'm concerned about. He can't get through a scene without looking like he's struggling to remember what's going on.
  9. I'm fine with that, and I'm happy about anything that gets Sonny face consequences and yeah, leave Port Charles. Maurice Benard is struggling like crazy, and he's increasingly hard to watch.
  10. Yeah, I'm lost there. Nothing about Marco says villain.
  11. -- The hospital scenes today were so bad, especially anything with Ashley and Andre. -- The Ashley stuff is horrendous, and it makes no sense for Andre to video any of that. He's "looking for a way in" and trying to center his documentary? WHAT? If he doesn't know what his goal is, he should put down the camera. Or maybe film somewhere other than the main desk, where nothing was happening. -- Ashley is no better with Andre than she is with Derek. It's all bad. -- I love Shanice, but those scenes with "Lulu" didn't go far enough. The Shanice we've already come to know would have asked a lot more questions about this "new nurse" she never saw before. -- BTG seems to think avoiding makeup on Samantha will make her look younger. It doesn't. The actress is fine, but I'm sorry, she looks WAY too old for this role. -- Laura's doctor was good, but I question giving private medical news in front of visitors. -- I enjoyed the Smitty and Martin date and any scene with Eva is worth watching. -- Swivel Ted is still swiveling. -- This episode is just a C grade for me. The awful Ashley/Andre/Derek scenes cast a pall over the entire hour.
  12. I think if Maurice Benard wanted LaRue as a screen partner, we'd be seeing it by now. I don't think that's happening.
  13. Thanks for the common sense description and analysis of Daphne. I was about to throw up after reading all the praise for the character and the actress. As far as chemistry with Carter, I can't see it, although admittedly I'm so down on Carter right now that I can't imagine chemistry with anyone. Just how many women has he mowed through in the past two-three years? Why would any woman believe any word he said?
  14. Natalia is certainly being written as someone who does not have long on this show.
  15. I cannot believe the Natalia we got today. Has anyone at GH seen any of the Natalia / Eva LaRue criticism? I've already said it would be difficult to redeem Natalia after her bigotry and homophobia over her daughter. For a time, it looked as if they'd just stop mentioning it. And now? THEY'VE DOUBLED DOWN! I cannot believe what I saw on my screen today with Marco. The Natalia character is garbage.
  16. It's dated, especially for Black youth who would more likely use salty or mad jealous or seething or pressed. Cray cray is just as dated.
  17. It's not accurate. That slang is not used by high schoolers in 2025. Am i the only one who thought that stack of cash looked fake? The paper was white,
  18. SOOOOOO glad that Chance told Summer to fck off. It's about time a guy who's that decent and who looks THAT good doesn't grovel for crumbs.
  19. -- Good, fun show today. The fashion was great, and put BOLD to shame, and the episode breezed by. -- I was underwhelmed by that purse. -- The men's fashion was also very strong, especially the suit on Andre. -- The teen slang for Samantha needs work. Kids are no longer saying "cray cray" and "jelly." WTH is up with that? -- The actress playing Samantha is fine, but I don't know how long they can get away with her playing a teenager. The closeups are already pretty telling.
  20. -- Deacon and Carter in a fistfight. It's pretty bad when you're hoping they both lose. -- When Finn's at the hospital, I'm glad he gets to spend all day in his office. -- Liam's doctor is a HOWL! All she does is tell Liam that Steffy saved him while she performs as if she's playing a game of Operation.
  21. I've read that JJ has storyline approval for Lucky in his contract. I guess that means he also has wardrobe and styling approval -- looking like a complete slob. This messy look has got to go, and JJ also needs to quit all the snacks he's eating.
  22. -- Good show today. Better than anything we saw last week. -- Brandon C is definitely improving. I would like to see him and Smitty speed up their dialogue in their scenes. I think that would make it all much more natural. Brandon's acting tics (that don't work) are magnified when he speaks too slowly. -- I wish they'd given Tyrell something more "serious" to be bullied over. Chess underwear? Really? I can see kids ragging on that, but only for a very limited time. I don't see it becoming a thing.
  23. -- In what universe would Audra sit and discuss a job offer with Victor after what he did to her? -- Only in Genoa City can a guy who looks like Chance have trouble holding onto a woman. -- It's absolute bonkers that Phyllis doesn't see how Alan might be connected to her kidnapping, but she has no trouble linking Ashley.
  24. Lots of shirtless today, and no question the boys are looking fine! Paul Telfer was most definitely training hard when his scenes were shot. MY GOD, that body! I know most people here don't like RSW, but I'm keeping him on the show just to see those pecs. Peyton Meyer is sexy and looks good, but he needs to hit the weights a lIttle more to keep up with the big boys. I'm only 10 minutes in, so here's boping that Tate takes his shirt off LOL
