  1. Hilarious! But at least the college girls (and gay boys) get to see Dat Ass every day.
  2. -- 14 episodes in the month for Electra. That tells you all you need to know about this show. -- Today's episode was a complete rerun of what we've seen many times before: characters whose lives are obsessed with who Ridge marries. They're all pathetic, but especially Eric who practically drools in every scene. Embarrassing.
  3. Good to know I'm not the only one who thought this. Sonny looked so stupid, so small, just standing off to the side -- like your dementia-ridden uncle you took for a walk. LMAOOOOOO Exactly! And now Stella is naming Curtis as Drew's probable shooter! Can someone please get this woman some meds? -- If someone shoots me, please get me any other doctors than Lucas and Portia. Those operating room scenes were hilarious!
  4. -- They're repurposed shoeboxes. I get saving money, but what's up with that drab and awful paint color in both rooms? Stories are out everywhere about how decorating dorm rooms is a real thing and a viral sensation, yet Salem U. looks like the rooms are out of The Grapes of Wrath. -- Aaron is looking good, and the haircut was a great idea. More recent photos on his IG show him with longer hair, but the cut is good. Does Louis Tomeo ping to anyone else or just to me?
  5. -- Yeah, they're really throwing big rocks at Portia's character again. It's all so rushed. Curtis walks out on Portia and she then immediately hits the sheets (and her desk) in a torrid affair? Not a good look. -- I was crazy when Portia got the call to the hospital when Drew was shot. Isaiah asked "Where's Terry?" because Teri's chief of staff. Portia laughably said "She didn't answer." So no work for Cassandra James this month, either. -- Portia is scrubbing in to work on Drew? 😂 -- Van Hansis continues to look out of place when working on an emergency patient in the ER. None of it looks authentic. -- Brook Lynn again looks like she's dressed for the funeral home. -- Overall, though, another very good episode today, front to back.
  6. So we're all on the same page: Lucas Adams is a good actor who will be wasted by Josh Griffith. Isn't it sad that nothing we hear about the show is exciting? In my head, this comes off as Josh Griffith getting pissed when Rory Gibson made a smash on GH when cast as Michael -- and when everyone said Rory didn't work on Y&R because of the writing. I feel as if Griffith wants to prove everyone wrong. Problem is, he can't.
  7. -- Claire has a dinner disaster with Kyle, so she leaves the Abbott mansion to go to Crimson Lights in her gown? Are you kidding me with this? -- The business stories are already wretched. Mixing AI into this mess makes them worse.
  8. -- Rachel's snake is such a pathetic and lame plot device that I have no words. -- I'm not buying Javi and his paternal feelings at all. They've done a complete 180 on his character and the idea of him and Leo being parents makes me gag. -- Chanel and Johnny aren't ready for kids either. Does Salem hand out babies like firefighters hand out candy at a parade? -- Chad has been looking very good. I think he lost weight for the Y&R role, and that was a mistake. -- That music used for Chad Telling Cat he cares about her made no sense. None. That was music to be used when someone visits the graveside of a loved one. -- I hope we get another trip to miniature golf and that everyone in town shows up on the same day.
  9. I've said this before -- they're crazy if they kill off Drew. There's so much more story to tell if he survives. Let Drew create even more havoc as they look for his attempted murderer. I've seen quite a few people guessing Scout or Wiley would be the shooter, but I can't buy a kid taking a second shot like that.
  10. If Hope is supposed to be virtuous, they're doing a terrible job of writing her that way.
  11. The ChelseaKat purse drops on Sept. 29. The price is $139. I think the bag looks good, but the price point is too high. In my opinion, it locks out too much of their audience.
  12. Is this Leslie's new house?
  13. After listening to these podcasts, I have no interest in a podcast hosted by Hunter Tylo. We now have real evidence as to why she was fired. I cannot imagine trying to work with someone like her on set. She wanted to essentially run the show, and no show is going to put up with that. Does she make some good points? Yeah, but she also wanted to turn B&B into some kind of morality play that no one wants to see. I blamed Brad Bell for so many years for firing Tylo and not bringing her back. Those days are over.
  14. Am I alone in not particularly liking Portia with Isaiah?
  15. -- I hope you guys are right that Ted is tricking Leslie. If he's not, he's the dumbest man on the planet. -- But if this is a trick, how exactly does that work? I don't see what the possible plan is. -- Chelsea is back to one handcuff today. Nice that Allison gives her a break. -- AA once again shows us he is the worst actor on daytime. I mean, the guy is Charity Rahmer on Passions level of bad. His line readings -- every one of them -- are so bad. -- Fun week for the soap. The previews look good, except for seeing Joey make the moves to screw Vanessa again in the dusty backroom casino. I don't want to see that.
  16. I agree. Killing off Drew would be a huge mistake and an unforced error. The show needs a villain who causes chaos every time he opens his mouth and has people hating him. Have someone shoot him, but he has to survive. Want to make him critical? Yeah, OK LOL.
  17. That hasn't happened to Y&R yet (though it should), but I agree with you that more than a few viewers have left for the same reason. There's so much repetition it's unreal. Hope AGAIN supposedly in love one day and completely rethinking that the next because Liam walks in? Carter AGAIN as a clueless moron when it comes to love? Liam AGAIN deciding he loves Hope? Luna AGAin (and the show AGAIN) turning to rape as a plot device? It's all a disaster, and I hope the ratings continue to fall.
  18. That's not how budgets work, though. I'm sure there's a budget average per episode. The budget for a 200-episode season would be 50 eipisodes lighter than it would be for a 250-episode season. If season 2 is 250 episodes, we're good. If it's 200, we're getting about 10 weeks of repeats throughout the year.
  19. -- I agree that it's a mistake to surprise us with another week of repeats. Why not put out a press release announcing the rerun weeks for the rest of the year and briefly explain the episode counts? Deeply-invested fans (like us) would love that kind of memo. -- Kat made me laugh when she said "I cleaned this place for hours" while she's standing there in full glam and knee-high boots. Girl doesn't know what it is to house clean. -- I'm glad Derek was able to get a fresh haircut in between his PT sessions. -- Speaking of Derek's physical therapy, shouldn't that be done in another area of the hospital? And shouldn't some of that therapy be on his legs that don't work? -- The Derek/Ashley scenes were great for having the episode screech to a halt when they were talking. -- Allison is so batsh_it crazy that I'm now enjoying her. -- The Duprees jumped all over Bill when they discovered he's representing Ted in the divorce. Glad he answered them back. I'm turning into Team Bill when it comes to all of it. The Duprees are so self-righteous and sanctimonious it's pathetic.
  20. -- So are we getting a week of BTG repeats for every holiday? Or is it every couple months? -- The show is 3-4 months ahead in taping, so the only way this makes sense is if it's an intentional cost-cutting move to do fewer episodes per season. -- I hate it (like most viewers) and I think they should have waited until season 2 to do something like this. It's a new show trying to build momentum, and this is not the answer. -- And no, holding on to 1M viewers when you normally get 1.5M is not good. Gates needs to work towards 1.6M and demo increases and not be satisfied with decent rerun numbers. -- The only way I'd be satisfied with this is if CBS does the same to Y&R and B&B, which are both total garbage these days.
  21. Just when I was happy that Kristen might be gone for awhile, Susan shows up. Sorry, I need a break from SH.
  22. -- I do not believe the show forces Maurice Benard to dye his hair. The guy has so much power over casting and story but listens to higher-ups about his hair? He wants his hair to look this way, no matter what he says. -- The making out/kissing between Portia and Isaiah looked awkward as hell. I like them both as actors, but that was a yikes. -- I know this board is down on Curtis, but my God, Portia lies so much it's unreal. And if she falls into Isaiah's arms that quickly after Curtis leaves the room, she's also been lying about how much she loves Curtis. Girl needs therapy. -- Good scenes today with Dante/Gio and Drew/Michael.
  23. LSV is certainly in the top tier at B&B when it comes to hotness. I'd also put Tanner Novlan there, and maybe Matthew Atkinson. Scott Clifton would have been there a couple years ago when he was jacked, but then he lost what I consider too much weight.
  24. -- I don't think we can talk about the power and pull of the Dupree family when it takes selling out to a mob boss for a favor. -- I want Joey gone, but if he's going to be a major character, they need to give him an office that suits him. Watching him work his finances at a casino table with a notepad and a lockbox was hilarious. -- Did I miss the scene where Allison put a 2nd handcuff on Chelsea? Their scenes were good, although I do wish they'd made the set more realistic and make it near impossible for Chelsea to save herself. -- Did not like seeing Nicole hug Hayley or Anita hug Bill. A bridge too far. -- Everyone and their mother showed up at the Dupree house except for Ted, which is another example of this show giving him terrible story. How many ways can they show him as being non-caring about the entire family? -- So Ashley showed up to see and talk to Andre...and that's it? She comforted Naomi for about 3 seconds and then moved on to Andre. Maybe tomorrow Derek can show up in a wheelchair. -- So glad the show is writing Bill as accepting of Chelsea's sexuality. It's the right move. Commericals: -- When the show ends, we immediately get a 15-second promo for BTG, and it's always for scenes we've already watched. I wish we'd instead get a brief look at something coming up. -- How many times will we have to sit through the same promo for The Road with Keith Urban? Jesus. -- I miss Febreze and Tide.
  25. That set is really bad. Inexcusable for a set used as a home for main characters. Yeah, I agree. Just not enough going on. Throwing in a snake that escapes its tank is not exactly exciting stuff -- especially when the snake is never shown.
