The Stitch resolution was as awful as I knew it would be. Josh Griffith cannot write. Period.

I know I’d probably enjoy Kimberlin Brown more if I didn’t know her politics. She’s a full-blown Trumper and I just can’t stand anyone who is. I probably give Liam more of a break than he deserves because I like Scott Clifton as a person and for his politics.

The scene reveal with Chase, Willow, and Michael were really underwhelming. I expected so much more, and really thought the entire reveal was a dud.

The Paulina and Johnny conversation was funny and great, but I did smh when Johnny declared himself 100% straight. Ron C has no problem with the girls being fluid, but as others have said, you won’t see it with guys. Any lines about Tripp liking boys? Or Ben? It could be teased with Chad because Billy Flynn goes all in with guys and can be very affectionate and hands on. It’s all homoerotic, but I think that’s to Billy’s credit, not the writing. And no, I’m not suggesting the show become some gay haven, but it’s just absurd that a gay male writer won’t write gay/bi males or isn’t allowed to, but teasing girl on girl sex is fine. As far as this board is concerned, I never felt uncomfortable seeing pics of shirtless guys and other thirst traps. It’s 2021, for God’s sake. I do appreciate Toups’ response to my previous post, as well as others having my back.

Wow. I’ve been part of some awkward and even harsh discussions here, but a post like this from an Admin is awfully mean. “Go watch porn or get laid”? I mean, damn. Tripp was discussed and Soapsuds posted a couple shirtless pics of the guy. That was it. No raunchy language, no outrageous pics. That got him a smackdown? I don’t know Soapsuds, so this isn’t personal. It just seems wrong to me. Maybe others don’t want to comment and rock the boat, but I just don’t understand a public attack like this. I don’t post photos, but I had no idea they weren’t welcome here, or that they should be posted only on some supposed Hotness page. I like this board, but it’s not like it takes hours to read the daily posts — there’s not that much happening here. I’d think administrators would be happy to see more visitors and posts here, not fewer. I don’t want or expect anything to result from this post. Maybe I’ll be shot down, too. I just wanted to express my opinion. Administrators expect us to “behave” on here, so I’d expect the same from them.

The Cin wedding was beyond boring and cheap. Seriously, one of the worst soap weddings in forever.

Why would I @ you? LOL I didn’t remember who made those comments about Nicholas Chavez, so no, I wasn’t thinking about you at all when I said Chavez isn’t green. We’re all just giving our opinions here, honey. Try not to be so defensive. As you said, it’s not that serious.

Nicholas Chavez has been terrific since Day One. I was actually stunned when some said he was “green” in his first appearances, and “nervous” but they’d give him a chance. Huh??? He’s nailed it from his first appearance, always looking as if he belonge and had chemistry with everyone. If this keeps up, he’ll be gone after his first contract. That kid has talent. William Lipton (Cam) and Eden McCoy (Joss) really disappear in scenes with Chavez and Sydney Mikayla, and I think it’s apparent they’re not ready for front burner stories. they can’t compare to NC and SM.

I agree. I think Ted King aged a lot in the past few years. Everyone seemed to think this hunk was returning to daytime, but then this happened. And the porn stache is just bad.

Apparently someone on the show can se he has zero chemistry with CM and is a terrible actor.

Well, the writing is bad, but much of it is forced because of Hunter King’s contract situation. We’ll never know how this story would have played if SONY/CBS weren’t so cheap. Again, all of Summer’s moves can be attributed to writers faced with an actress’s contract expiring and not being renewed. I’m not excusing or defending the writing, because I don’t like it either. It makes Summer’s choices ridiculous. I don’t get why some people say that Tara and Ashland might be working together. We’ve seen them arguing — alone— with no one else around.it would make no sense to now decide they’re working together.

LMAOOOOOOO So true. The guy is one lazy actor, and no one signals “this script is garbage” like Chandler Massey. Getting him to commit to the material is near impossible, and instead it’s all smirks and near-eye rolls. CM is a nice guy, but I hope he finds a career he enjoys and stays away from acting.

I’ve enjoyed Stafford a lot in the past couple weeks. She’s back to being the conniving and over-involved Phyllis, and I love it. I have no problem with a mother being upset that her daughter is now in EUROPE and not closer to home. The stakes aren’t high? Uh...Tara and Sally effectively ended the relationship and pending marriage of Kyle and Summer, and that’s plenty enough to make Phyllis pissed. I agree that MS has had too little to do since returning, but that’s not her fault. Yes, I liked Gina Tognoni a great deal — but she’s gone. I can’t deny that Michelle Stafford feels like Phyllis to me.

That puckish charm that NB brought to the show wouldn’t work with him as a teen. He looks and acts as if he’s in some Harry Potter spin-off. This new actor work well and fits in with the other actors.

I see people mentioning those two gave looks to each other, but I just didn’t see it. I even watched it a 2nd time on the DVR, and still saw nothing. I think people are tripping.

How many times will Ron use the bride wearing a veil that hides her entire face? We’ve seen this every 5 months or so, haven’t we?

This place REALLY hates Ben.

I think the kid playing Spencer has been really good, and has shown different sides of Spencer with his father, with Trina alone, and with Trina, Cam, and Joss. The other teen characters have nothing on him. And while he doesn’t read as a tough alpha full of testosterone, neither does he read as gay. I think the actor could play bi or gay very well, but he plays straight just as well. Regardless, as the show is now written, there’s no sense making him bi or gay anyway.

I like Eric and Nicole together, and while those breakup scenes were good, I hated that they both said “I will love you forever.” What? Then why the frick are you breaking up? It’s a cheap, too easy line that seems romantic but is ridiculous.

— Honestly, I didn’t think that Jack Landron performance was anything great, and certainly unworthy of an Emmy nom. I just want the whole thing over with. This episode wouldn’t be anywhere near a decent ending, but with this offscreen story, we won’t get one anyway. The whole thing is terrible. — And Imani had no idea how to get into her mother’s locked hotel room? Huh? — The Sharon and Adam scenes and flashbacks? Best part of the episode. Their chemistry is fire, and they’re really good together. — Once again, Abby and two others get texts from Mariah and stupidly believe she must be fine. My God.

Those background images and buildings could not look any more fake.
