  1. The painting thing made me crazy, and not only because Michael and Willow are so damn boring. She has this little cup filled with paint. OK, so then why is all the furniture in the room covered with sheets? And look at the floor? Shouldn’t the rest of the damn floor be covered, too, if you’re going to be ridiculous? Why is Willow dressed like she’s going out on a shopping trip? Those are painting clothes? She’s a lousy painter, too. Even with that little cup of paint and small brush, she couldn’t help but hit Michael with a big splat of paint. Because of course she did. What major suckage. Also more major suckage with Cyrus, the non-scary mob boss who isn’t scary at all except to people in Port Charles. Am I missing something? Why the frick does he care so much about owning this damn town? Shouldn’t a guy SO powerful and SO frightening have a bigger agenda? It’s ridiculous.
  2. And you’re always around to complain about my complaints. Sounds like we’re even. You can scroll on by,you know. There always that ignore button if I bother you that much.
  3. Uh...yeah. That was my point. I wrote the post and called an opinion worthless. It was my opinion. Who else’s opinion would it be? Don’t worry, I wasn’t speaking for you or anyone else on the board. Check out the episodes when Michael was working to break through the wall between his room and Christine’s apartment. He was hot, sweaty, and dirty, and definitely showed off a good body.
  4. You nailed it. The quad is a damn disaster. The dialogue is simple, generic, and lame. It’s embarrassing. Carter fell in love in 5 minutes, and he expresses it in such a laid back, mellow way that I want to zap him with a taser. He’s been awful. He also comes across as stupid as hell for not recognizing that Zoe MAKES UGLY FACES when he says he loves her or asks her to marry him. Zoe??? Talk about an actress who needs acting classes. Aside from her exotic looks, she has nothing going for her.
  5. Martha Madison is 43. Brandon Beemer is 40. But poster after poster is going after her for being too old? Huh??? i’m no huge MM fanboy, but this ageism is really unfair in my eyes. I do think she looks and is styled much better on this run than she has been in the past, when Beemer seemed like a reach for her. Now? I’m ok with them being together. As I’ve said before, I do think nuClaire is a complete miscast. She’s a new character, and that’s not what the show needed. I don’t see any chemistry with Charlie either — or with nuTheo. NuTheo has fans here, but again, he felt like a new character to me. Kyle Pettis’ acting has been criticized, yet I always felt his autistic side came through. I never forgot he had autism, and I credit Pettis for that. He wasn’t just good abs.
  6. Hey, I have no problem criticizing the show, but I admit I watch it in good times and bad. I’m sorry, but if you’re truly watching only a few minutes every week or so, your opinion is worthless. Either that or you’re just lying about how often you watch. FWIW, I don’t buy the deep Abby and Chance, either. It’s another relationship that seems superficial in every respect. When she stood at Chance’s bedside today, I wasn’t feeling it — partly because of their social distancing that wouldn’t even allow her to stand beside the bed. At the foot of the bed? Ridiculous. It was as bad as the distant dancing at Dina’s wake. CLB’s hair? The first day was a shock, but since then, I’ve decided it looks good on him. I’d rather see that than the horribly dyed brunette look.
  7. The entire zcyrus storyline is pathetic. why wouldn’t Sonny and Jason just kill the bastard? They have no problem killing other people, so why not put down some mob king?
  8. New Theo doesn’t work for me an6 better than new Claire. I think they’re both miscast.
  9. It’s adorable that you always catch only a few minutes of the shows and then deem them “absolutely terrible.” So cute.
  10. Agreed. Atkinson has been terrific. What doesn’t work at all is having Hope and Steffy be so calm and nonchalant about Thomas having a Hope mannequin. Makes no sense.
  11. Was there closer social distancing on the show today, or was I just imagining things?
  12. Agree about Dev. Face it, they can’t decide what to do with Dev. His character has changed about 6 times. Honestly, the other teens are all over the place, too. And why would Joss and Trina want to be anywhere near someone like Dev? I thought these girls valued themselves. I did have to LOL today at the teens sitting at their diner table — about 2 feet from the front door. Doesn’t everyone love a seat that clos3 to the exit?
  13. Agree completely about Kate Mansi and Marci Miller. I do like MM better now than in her first run, though. Not a fan of pairing JJ with Gwen. I don’t see any chemistry there at all. Emily O’Brien has been terrific, and she deserves a partner with the same level of fire. I like JJ as a character and the way Casey Moss plays him, but they’ve yet to find a great relationship for him. i like Candy McClain a lot — and hope they keep her.
  14. Finals Hughes is killing it in the two roles.
  15. Eden is not that good. I call her average, too. And yeah, she was making awkward faces in the election special.
  16. This show needs to do better with the social distancing. Those scenes at Society were so damned awkward, as if each actor was sent to a different corner of the set. It just takes me out of the scene. BTW, that jewelry Jack had made from Dina’s emerald? I think he should have found a better jeweler, because those pieces look like boring junk.
  17. The costumes were the only good element of the election episode. My God, what a trainwreck. it went bad from the beginning, where used-to-be woke Joss said she’d vote if she had time and then said she didn’t think a single vote would matter. So to push this episode forward, they had to trash what we know about Joss?
  18. The 2020 music isn’t bad, but the original cue is SO much better. Completely different atmosphere to the entire scene, and I have no idea why they’d even touch it. BTW, I thought Christel Khalil was just terrific in this episode.
  19. Yeah, I agree. Y&R has done a nice job with these classics. I don’t think GH and B&B offered even one must-see episode during this entire period.
  20. That full interview with Morrow, Case, and Grimes is about 40 minutes, and definitely worth watching. Really enjoyed it. You can tell the 3 of them not only respect each other, but also really love each other. Josh described his relationship with Sharon Case as putting on his favorite hoodie. They all laughed, but Morrow explained it and it made perfect sense.
  21. This Friday classic episode was really a dud.
  22. I know the word gets around, and I know how tough the industry was on gay people. But the fact is that a Terry Lester had a good job. By all accounts, he quit that job, leaving on his own. While gay people were cheated out of roles, plenty of gay people were also hired. I didn’t post here to argue about gays in entertainment. I am gay and I know all about society and the way people deal with LGBTQ+ people. My point was that there is no evidence that Terry Lester was blackballed because of his sexuality.
  23. Terry Lester was great, but where’s the evidence that being gay cost him a career in prime time? He wasn’t out, and there were no rumors about him. Other closeted actors had careers in prime time and movies, so I’m not buying this about Lester.
  24. Honestly, I’d love to watch the entire series again — beginning in 1973. Do you agree with me that there’d be an audience for it? I’d be willing to pay for it, too. They could upload it to CBS All Access and I’ll subscribe, or I’d pay a fee to watch it somewhere else. There are a lot of years I’d love to watch again.
