Oh, wow! I missed the part where Ted's brother was a twin! That could be super twisty! And, Ted's long-lost love child! I'm super interested to see where that's going. I loved the cliffhanger and then gun at the end. Super campy and soapy, and I love it! Martin was a little better today. Maybe the actor is starting to settle in a bit more. Of all the Dupree grandkids, Naomi is my favorite so far. Ashley's elevator and pregnant woman drama should have been her first episode IMO.

I still don't know what the endgame for Luna is if she outright killed two people. It'd be another groan-worthy recon, but it would make the story better if they could figure out a way she didn't kill Tom and Hollis. Not sure how that could be, but crazier things have happened on soaps. Because without that, where does the story go from here. Daphne and her smelling is FF material for me. The only way this character could be saved is if it were revealed that she was actually playing everyone, wasn't even French, and hell bent on destroying the Forresters. I've said it over and over...but I wish RB would have been cast as a brand new character without the Taylor baggage. It would have made for a much more interesting story. Maybe BB will watch Beyond the Gates and feel the need to finally bring the show to 2025. Probably not, but one can hope.

I loved the twist with Leslie at the end. I didn't see that coming! Definitely intrigued. I SOOOO want to like Martin, but the actor has come across as very stiff. It's true the first two episodes he had a LOT of exposition dialogue, and that's very hard to make sound natural. But, I didn't get any sense of intimacy in scenes with his husband or talking about their children. Mike Manning has soap experience already, so I felt he already showed up with his A-game. I'm way more interested in Smitty. I like how Martin/Smitty are obviously set up for a big story, but the approach to Martin needs to change...loosen him up. I'm finding that I'm enjoying each episode more and more...a very good sign! All the other shows feel very dated in comparison.

I loved both the Dani and Nicole characters, and their contrast as sisters. Excellent choice on casting these two characters! I mean, you can understand why Dani's pissed, especially with her daughter's friend practically growing up in their house! Since this is a soap, I'm curious to see what inevitable secrets we'll find out about Nicole and Anita. There have to be cracks in Nicole's perfect life. After being tossed aside by B&B, I'm glad Karla Mosley is really getting some material to sink her teeth into. Ashley and as someone else mentioned "the boyfriend" were a bit snoozeville for me. I understand that they wanted to show them, but they should have been given something more exciting to play. Maybe Ashley could have had a major emergency to deal with on her first day at work, for example. A phone call between her and Naomi would have tied Ashley in better, too. Very excited to see how the week develops!

Finn is SOOO going to turn out to be Luna's father. They're going to do it for shock value, and it's offensive to people who are adopted. But, this is the show that had Ridge make out with his own sister/daughter, Bridget, and had Steffy sleep with Rick. Flowers in the Attic has nothing on this show.

Wow...they are retconning the hell out of Luna's storyline! But, Jack Finnegan should have ALWAYS been the one who was Luna's father. It was the only thing that would have made Li's hatred of her sister to make sense...not the whole "Remember when I got you a job at the hospital gift shop?" LOL. Like, who the hell cares? But, sleeping with her husband and having him father her child, then it would have made sense. I feel like Luna's going to wiggle out of her serial killer days, too...which also should have NEVER happened. She should have just turned out to be a bad girl which the show desperately needs in that age-range. Yawn inducing Elektra ain't going to cut it.

I can't imagine why BB thinks the audience even remotely wants to see another round of Brooke/Ridge/Taylor. At this point, as great of an actor that TK is, kill Ridge off and let everyone finally move on to something else. Not to mention the horrible miscasting of Taylor with RB who looks like she could be Steffy's YOUNGER sister at times!

Luna being out on house arrest makes NO SENSE. But, then DAYS had a serial killer become the shows hero and leading man there for a bit because he was "fine" once he was on "medication." The story would have been so much better if Luna had turned into a twisted bad girl...short of committing murder. I'm not sure how Bill is eventually going to get her off for two murders. That being said, it's more interesting that another round of Bill and Katie. Will/Electrified/Remy- Snooze. And, not only were the scenes awkward, Will lets the dude run away without holding him there until the police arrive. I mean...WTH? These three characters together have the IQ of a sponge. And, then Ivy and Katie talking about AI. While there could be an interesting storyline in there...somewhere...B&B has never done social issues well. Their dialogue sounded like what AI would create if you asked ChatGpt to explain the dangers of deep fakes.

I was never much of a Thomas fan no matter who played him. He always comes off as creepy. But MA was pretty good in the role considering. There's a lot of WTF with casting and dropped storylines on this show. But, it's been that way for about 25 years, so... I would LOVE to see what a fresh, new head writer could bring to the show, but that ain't happening...ever. We still need some "have nots" on the show clawing their way up. The fact that we still don't have any Latinos in Los Angeles or gay people working at a fashion house....it's like the show is stuck in 1988 casting.

B&B: January 2025 Spoilers
So did RJ just drop off the face of the planet? We really got no resolution to his story with Luna, and he should be in the crosshairs over the fight for Forrester. The actor was eye-candy, too. It's really weird how he was suddenly dropped out of nowhere...not that this show hasn't done that before with other characters. Was ANYONE asking for yet another Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle? This story would have been soooo much better if RB had been allowed to play a brand new and age-appropriate character that made a play for Ridge. She looks like Steffy's sister...not her mother! I think Liam is toast at this point. There really is nowhere for the character to go, IMO. No one wants to see Steffy/Liam/Hope for the 10,000th time.

I watched until the bitter end, too. And, wow, those last couple of years were so hard to watch at times. For me, the show had a bit of renaissance in the mid-90s and seemed to be firing on all cylinders, and then we got a serial killer named of all things Fax. The death of Frankie really started the downward spiral IMO. Then, we got stories like Amanda's secret garden and a 300 year old man who was time traveling (sooooo out of place on this show), Bobby Reno/Shane Roberts (what was that about?), Marley's return where she got a new face and was suddenly a foot taller than Vicky, etc etc
