  1. SOOOOOO excited! I really hope the show does well - live views + streaming. If it does, it may get the other shows to up their game which they DESPERATELY need.
  2. Oh, God...that's right. Sheila would be her grandmother. This has to be the "twist" because there is no long-term conflict with Jack being the father since he's not even on the show full-time.
  3. Finn is SOOO going to turn out to be Luna's father. They're going to do it for shock value, and it's offensive to people who are adopted. But, this is the show that had Ridge make out with his own sister/daughter, Bridget, and had Steffy sleep with Rick. Flowers in the Attic has nothing on this show.
  4. As messed up as that would be, it wouldn't surprise me. This is the show that had Ridge make out with Bridget after all.
  5. I love how Li could randomly ask for a dead person's liver and sets up a chemistry lab in her office.
  6. Poor RB was doomed from the start with perhaps the worst recasting on the show ever. They never should have let Krista go in the first place. She was perfect. Although this is the show where Ridge and Bridget made out, so anything is possible.
  7. Wow...they are retconning the hell out of Luna's storyline! But, Jack Finnegan should have ALWAYS been the one who was Luna's father. It was the only thing that would have made Li's hatred of her sister to make sense...not the whole "Remember when I got you a job at the hospital gift shop?" LOL. Like, who the hell cares? But, sleeping with her husband and having him father her child, then it would have made sense. I feel like Luna's going to wiggle out of her serial killer days, too...which also should have NEVER happened. She should have just turned out to be a bad girl which the show desperately needs in that age-range. Yawn inducing Elektra ain't going to cut it.
  8. I'm still surprised RJ appears to have been written off with zero closure for the character. I mean, he was no Emmy winning actor, but he was nice eye candy at least.
  9. I feel like they are going to try and undo Luna killing Tom and Hollis...maybe saying her split personality did it, etc. Otherwise, how is there any long-term story for her? The character should never have been written into such a corner to begin with.
  10. I can't imagine why BB thinks the audience even remotely wants to see another round of Brooke/Ridge/Taylor. At this point, as great of an actor that TK is, kill Ridge off and let everyone finally move on to something else. Not to mention the horrible miscasting of Taylor with RB who looks like she could be Steffy's YOUNGER sister at times!
  11. Luna being out on house arrest makes NO SENSE. But, then DAYS had a serial killer become the shows hero and leading man there for a bit because he was "fine" once he was on "medication." The story would have been so much better if Luna had turned into a twisted bad girl...short of committing murder. I'm not sure how Bill is eventually going to get her off for two murders. That being said, it's more interesting that another round of Bill and Katie. Will/Electrified/Remy- Snooze. And, not only were the scenes awkward, Will lets the dude run away without holding him there until the police arrive. I mean...WTH? These three characters together have the IQ of a sponge. And, then Ivy and Katie talking about AI. While there could be an interesting storyline in there...somewhere...B&B has never done social issues well. Their dialogue sounded like what AI would create if you asked ChatGpt to explain the dangers of deep fakes.
  12. I was never much of a Thomas fan no matter who played him. He always comes off as creepy. But MA was pretty good in the role considering. There's a lot of WTF with casting and dropped storylines on this show. But, it's been that way for about 25 years, so... I would LOVE to see what a fresh, new head writer could bring to the show, but that ain't happening...ever. We still need some "have nots" on the show clawing their way up. The fact that we still don't have any Latinos in Los Angeles or gay people working at a fashion house....it's like the show is stuck in 1988 casting.
  13. So did RJ just drop off the face of the planet? We really got no resolution to his story with Luna, and he should be in the crosshairs over the fight for Forrester. The actor was eye-candy, too. It's really weird how he was suddenly dropped out of nowhere...not that this show hasn't done that before with other characters. Was ANYONE asking for yet another Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle? This story would have been soooo much better if RB had been allowed to play a brand new and age-appropriate character that made a play for Ridge. She looks like Steffy's sister...not her mother! I think Liam is toast at this point. There really is nowhere for the character to go, IMO. No one wants to see Steffy/Liam/Hope for the 10,000th time.
  14. Wow....what a powerhouse of a scene. It explains the backstory of the characters without feeling like boring recapping. Rachel also gets her bitchy streak back! You can only wonder how much more of scenes like this we would have gotten had Lemay been allowed to stay.
  15. I've also read a rumor that Swajeski basically wrote the first couple of years off of a bible Lemay had submitted when he was hired.
  16. I know there was a writer's strike in 1988, but does anyone know why Lemay's return was so short, and he wasn't brought back after the strike? From what I remember, the show went through a pretty good reset with his return.
  17. I watched until the bitter end, too. And, wow, those last couple of years were so hard to watch at times. For me, the show had a bit of renaissance in the mid-90s and seemed to be firing on all cylinders, and then we got a serial killer named of all things Fax. The death of Frankie really started the downward spiral IMO. Then, we got stories like Amanda's secret garden and a 300 year old man who was time traveling (sooooo out of place on this show), Bobby Reno/Shane Roberts (what was that about?), Marley's return where she got a new face and was suddenly a foot taller than Vicky, etc etc
  18. Diego Serrano (Tomas) still looks amazing!
  19. That could be fun! Even hearing about his days back at OLTL.
  20. I'm sure his job as a breakdown writer at BTG will pay quite well and without the pressure of being the headwriter. It's got to be a pretty sweet gig, and he can probably do that part of the process in his sleep. I enjoyed many parts of his tenure at DAYS, but it was all the mask wearing, constant Dimeras, the diminishing of the Hortons, the domination of the Leo Stark character, and Abigail's "death" that finally turned me off. I never even made it to what sounds like the Body and Soul fiasco. I did tune in for Doug's funeral episodes and to watch what's left of the Hortons to decorate the tree. MAYBE I'll tune back in once the new writer's material begins to air.
  21. It would have been soooooo much better if they had brought her on as a brand new character without having to deal with the backstory of Taylor.
  22. Oh, wow...I never heard the rumor that JC was considering leaving the show for ATWT. Was there any speculation on what character she would play? It's a shame that Jeanne Cooper was left without much to do for years....
  23. I don't watch GH on a regular basis, but I, too, don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon. It's often in the top 10 on Hulu (which is owned by Disney which owns ABC). So, it's bringing some viewers to the app on a daily basis. We haven't heard anything, but I wonder how Neighbours is doing on Amazon.
  24. Maybe I would care about this story if not within six months... Ridge and Steffy will get the company back. Carter will be "forgiven" and be back to being Ridge's "best friend and part of the family" and barely used. Ridge will bounce back and forth between Brooke and Taylor a few times (again). No one will even remember that ANY OF THIS even happened. This has been a problem with the show for many, many years. There are never any long-term impacts to any of the stories. Instead, everything is "reset" to what it was before with zero character growth...or hell, even acknowledgment that anything happened!
