AWZ got me a bit hooked again. Henning/Daniela Are cute as hell. Chiara getting a rival with Leyla and her new friendship to Jill and the pressure from Simone is getting to her. Chiara is my favorite character on that show and I hate Leyla. Malu/Justus Custody Battle is hilariously bad written and acted but I’m into it somehow and want Malu to win. I have never been a fan of Malu but her storys are quiet good from the drama perspective. Between two brothers and now a custody battle. Only thing that bothers me is that she wrecked Natalie and Maximilians reunion. They finally made up and a lie from Malu ruined it again. i can’t wait for the 4000th Episode coming up! awz always gives me some Hollyoaks kinda vibes if I am being honest

I always wondered why they never brought back Antonia Schwarz (Irenes niece and Till’s cousine).. She was heavily featured between 1994-1997. And Olaf Schwarz never got mentioned much after his departure in episode 201. (The actor itself became a long featured actor on the teen soap “Schloss Einstein” a couple of years later) Corinna has a gay brother. They should bring him in.

In May they announced that the French soap “Plus Belle La Vie” will end after 18 years this November! I’m quiet in shock. I enjoyed that show very much here and there Another one gone after Neighbours Germany will probably lose their two novelas/soaps Rote Rosen und Sturm der Liebe in 2023.

I have thought about the Leyla Story. I don’t really think it came out of nowhere that she turned to drugs. She had a miscarriage, marriage issues with Liam coz he played house with his dead daughter behind her back and she lost her friend Andrea. There is just so much a human being can take tbh

Rest In Peace such tragic news. So many losses in the last 3 years of soap stars. The new character got introduced and it felt quiet like the old EastEnders! More pub scenes with singing, more cheeky on-liners. I think EE could be turned around again

Not that they start them re-runs and end up like Home and Away early years coz of some rights/contracts to air the rest of 1996 which led to the end of the re-runs. the show will end after 8903 episodes? The Silas/Lynsey Story from 2011/12 will forever be in my top 10 most iconic feuds. Silas is in my top 5 most iconic evil villains! BUT Hollyoaks has to stop this Silas stuff for god damn sake! They really trying to capitalize on Silas for a decade by now. Now they are bringing in his weird daughter Wendy to wrack harvoc. I‘m so over it! They have to end that saga for good! If Jen (Mercedes) would leave the show for good then I want Silas to be the one killing her for good to end it! Lol

@SkyloverI wanted to apologize. It seems like I’m a bit too harsh on Neighbours and seem quiet hating on it. I‘m sorry. It‘s a great show and I even supported the show for as long as I can remember. But why didn’t they tried to find a new home earlier? Why didn’t they tried to branch out more in Australia? Why did they rely so heavily on the UK? (those are questions that come into my mind and it irritates me that they relied so heavily on Channel 5 and not their home.) I think between 2020-2022 Neighbours had not much going on. There were a few highlights but nothing worth watching it for. Killing off Sonia’s character to trim down the budget but investing it into Characters/Cast Member no one cares for was one of the biggest mistakes in Neighbours history. Im also not fond of Toadies girlfriend. I hoped for a Dee/Toadie reunion since I was 12/13. They finally brought her back and ditched it. When I heard they cancel Neighbours i still hoped for a Love comeback but I gave up on it. Why would anyone think H&A won‘t survive? Home and Away won most popular Drama Programm!!! Booooom! That show is on fire! Neighbours Fans criticizing the short farewell segment. I mean that show has no real ratings anymore. If they were such strong fanbase then they would’ve taken a Logie Award and push their show‘s ratings in Australia.

I agree… I still can’t believe that Gary is still around and that his killings and no real topic anymore. I wish he would get caught out and killed off. His character brought nothing to the show for years. Him becoming a killer had so much potential but they gave up on that to keep Gary around with no real purpose. I feel bad that these writers aren’t using the Barlow Clan properly. I get why Ken ain’t used full time anymore coz of his hearings and age but Peter? He should be front burner! He’s one of my favorites and so is Adam. They turned Adam into a busy body and repeat his cheating storys. Tracy? Yeah what about Tracy? I can’t remember she had something important to do since she got that pairing with Steve back then. Daniels story with that student fling is just ridiculous and annoying. They are members of the original core family and get wasted so hard

People seem more fond of H&A than Neighbours! That has been the case since like forever.. Even in the UK most fans love Neighbours but prefer H&A coz it had a smooth transition and came around this century. The issues Neighbours had were that people were hung up on nostalgia. Everytime something got reported about Neighbours they used some picture from the 80‘s. That told me everything I needed to know. Neighbours has been struggling storywise for ages. Last time people really talked about the show was when Dee/Andrea showed up! That gave Neighbours some buzz. And when the Tyler and Piper pairing was going on. The only thing after that was maybe the 35th anniversary arc and the comebacks. That buzz had more to do with nostalgia again coz of all the old characters being back for a while. Nostalgia killed Neighbours. I mean I love Kylie and saw her live twice but to bring her up constantly after 30 years just showed me that no one really watched that show! im upset about the ending but I expected it a lot sooner tbh. Since 2012 the show had been struggling over there in Australia! We can be thankful that C5 was patient enough with it. Home and Away is Lucky enough to hit the zeitgeist. They have sponsorships and product placement. They had an article about how much money they brought in since 1988. no wonder they never gave up on it. Neighbours relied to heavily on Channel 5.

We all know that there is some rascism going on behind the scenes and stuff. They were under investigation but I never heard what the outcome was. Maybe it had to do with that? I don’t know..

I really liked Imran and he seemed promising and full of potential. But typical Corrie wasted him. And who did they wasted him on? Toyah! Out of all women they wasted him on Toyah. Like Peter Barlow a few years ago. And it also had to do with a baby story. I get why the actor left tbh. But thank the lord.. We finally got rid of Cathy!

I started the 70‘s of ED when itv released like 5 volumes. That show wasn’t that boring or lifeless like some say. It always had some intrigue in it and complex characters. Also the first year had a rape, a murder and so on 🤣 and a Sugden died ! Its a shame that Drama didn’t aired the episodes from the beginning. I get why they started with Nov 1989 but It’s still a shame. I have a few episodes missing in my collection. Nah.. I mean her struggling marriage, the death of his daughter that he struggled with.. It was just a matter of time when she would break tbh.
