I’ll admit that it’s not new for GTST that a lot of cast members are leaving in a Seizoen/Season. But so many in just a few months it’s a bit concerning for me. I‘m just worried about a cancellation coz Spangas got cancelled and will air its last episode after 15 years this month. I know they air on two different networks but it’s still a bit frightening. I’ve been to the Netherlands in 2015 for the 25th Anniversary GTST Live! Event which was also the last LIVE Event for Gtst.. I‘m a real big fan. Babette (Linda) was really mad about her firing in an interview and I don’t blame her. I get that she left a tons of times between 1990 to 2015 but I still don’t get that decision to cut her. Why not Laura? I mean I don’t want to lose either one of them. I just hope she will be invited back she is one of my favorites. i watch them on Videoland with a VPN and a premium account. It costs something like 8€. But it’s worth it. Sorry for writing so much 🤣

That’s my thinking. I wanted to give Paige my vote coz even though those people hated her personally and not just the character but my girl Tina from Corrie is up this year. I can’t go against my girl Tina (Sarah) I have to say the Meena story was entertaining.. it dragged a bit but I said it months ago that without the Meena Storyline there was nothing really going on. The Marlon plot is well done so far but what else is there to keep viewers hooked? Nothing. I admire Paige/Meena for sticking over 19/20 months with so much hate. I hope she wins if Tina won‘t. She kinda deserves it

Paige (Meena) gave her Top 5 Meena moments. She even said that this is the end for her as Meena and that some of us are happy about it ! I feel sorry for the actress that the audience got her so much backlash

I haven’t seen her yet with Scotty.. but I can’t wait too see Scotty back. I’m still stuck In February 1981. Its a shame that Jeff is leaving soon in my episodes. I think even though he was so “in love” with Anne he had more chemistry with Heather and Diana lol @victoria foxtonand @Veethank u for your answer. I get where u coming from with that Vee. For me that is definitely rape aswell. I mean it appeared in my head coz I saw Stefans introduction a couple of days ago and Laura’s reaction about Stavros never made me feel like she would’ve slept with him willingly. She probably slept with him to survive.. Stavros also seemed to have a temper from what I remember from the early 2000’s. No way would he accepted a no from Laura.

I mean he is likeable and he delivers when given the right material! I don’t think he costs that much for them coz he is on reccuring if I remember correctly

Maybe I’m too young but I actually enjoyed Guiding Light during the 2000’s and especially 2004-2007! Between 2008/09 I just loved Bill and Lizzie ! But the whole Jonathan and Tammy Lovestory made me fall back in love with the show! They brought that show back to life for me! I was so devastated when Tammy died:(

I don’t know who to vote this year coz they were all weird ! but I will give my girl Tina O’Brien as Sarah my vote! She deserves it!

That’s odd.. With Miriam leaving there is no story and drama for Moritz and Luis.. I wonder what they are going to do with them

But I do have to say that Lachlan was a great younger villain! That was one of the last few storys I was really hooked on! and the story of Belle and her mental illness! That actress delievering is so good

What they need to do is to take the show more serious for once and let people in charge that are not hung up on nostalgia! nostalgia ruins Soap operas coz the audience is still hung up on the glory days.. Maybe they should take it into 2022 for god damn sake.

What the hell is going on with Gtst since November? At first they write off Original Character Linda and long time character Anton all of the sudden. now the rapey Doc is out/dead… Richard is out. (Who finally got Ludo something to do and even was a great villain)… Billy left for good now. JoJo and Illyas out. and now some Spangas cast member got picked up. im irritated what’s going on there. I swear if they cancel Gtst then I am going livid I wish they would’ve written off other characters instead…

NPO Zapp cancelled their only soap opera in the Netherlands: SpangaS! It’s a soap opera about the students. After 15 years it will come to an end on April, 28th! I loved that show! I will miss it so much. I was one of the few that started it when I was 17 and have hold on to it until today! SpangaS even had a lot of cast member joining the last soap of the Netherlands: Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden! Now I understand why Noel van Kleef joined Gtst even though she is still appearing on SpangaS. I thought she would just leave SpangaS but the show has been axed They had 15 seasons, a few movies, specials and even a live tour in 2011. They revamped the show before COVID happened in 2020: SpangaS de Campus! Now it was more about campus life

Yes I remember that episode. That was odd. That happened a few times during December 80 to February 81 that she was mentioned heavily without being involved. It felt really dragging tbh. I can’t wait for the next phase in that story! And thank u so much for telling me that Joe gets a new story. He is one of my favorites. I could watch him like every day 🤣 He has chemistry with like everyone on the damn show!

I have made myself through the whole January 1981 and nearly February 1981. I have made it through the entire built up and the Diana Taylor murder week! i feel like they made a mistake with Diana’s murder. The built up was great and the story that lead to her murder but they could’ve done so much more with an ongoing feud between Diana/Heather! So much wasted material there. Jeff finally learned the truth about his son! That was one of my favorite moments of the entire last year of Jeff Webber! I still don’t get why RDA felt like he wasn’t challenged enough on the show and left? His exit statement that I found sounded like he was Jelous of TG’s popularity as Luke and the amount of screentime and action storys Luke got while Jeff stuck with boring Anne for 8-9 months of 1980! In my opinion Jeff had a much stronger story than Luke during the fall/winter 1980/81 with Heather/Anne/Diane/PJ (Steven Lars). I haven’t watched his exit yet but it makes no sense that he would leave in the middle of such heavy story? I know that Alice killed Diana but it makes no sense. The entire built up of her murder and Heather even hiding and seeing different people leaving the building before going in etc. I can’t wait how they want to explain that. This seems like a good example of a last minute change in the outcome to keep Heather around. Ugh the Ice Princess. U could do a drinking game whenever they name that. Since Alexandria got introduced in November 1980 it gave LnL a new story and brought in Robert. Which I thought was a great move! But since January 81 until February 20th (where I am at now) nothing happened. They are dragging that story out for so damn long with such repetitive dialogue that it became stalling and boring. Only things happened were Slick being involved as Luke’s sidekick and still looking for the Ice Princess. But where are the Cassadines that they are talking about? Can’t believe they are dragging out the arrival so much. James Duvall, Tony Castle got introduced.. Such stupid character names. Castle? Really? Couldn’t they come up with something better? Poor Joe! Ever since the murder of his dad got wrapped up they backburned him so hard! There is this little thing going on with Bobbie and them kissing a few times and going out here and there and Joe being there for Luke but otherwise nothing. Such a waste of a great character I can’t take Sarah on a daily basis as Heathers „friend“ and roommate! I mean she is entertaining with threatening Heather but I want heather to put that brat in her place 🤣

As long as they don’t do April Fools episodes like Days I don’t care if they don’t do anything special. I mean didn’t they hit the 15000th Episode already?
