  1. Source for this? Especially since Benz was already on AMC as Linda Connor.
  2. This is what happens when you write for character over actor.
  3. A network season is usually September of one year to May of the following year (i.e., September 2024 to May 2025). So, Beyond the Gates is a mid-season replacement. We know, production-wise, Beyond the Gates was set to film through August of this year, so....
  4. Awe, thank you @DemetriKane! I so appreciate it. She really is; she's a strong principal guest, and I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for her.
  5. date: Monday, May 12 | Sara A. Bibel, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Anthony Pascarelli Teddy Boy. Teddy Bear. DEADBEAT! Now we know where Deadbeat gets it from. Vanessa in a random two-second spotting with Deadbeat? Oh, okay then! Dana is selling herself to Nicole right now. Oh, look who it is... Anita showing up to support Dani in her demure confrontation with Deadbeat2. Mona is not playing with Eva; from "backstabbing heifer" to "girl bye", she is not playing with her. At all. Joey is fully playing Vanessa, and she's so easily falling for it. C'mon, honey, don't do that. Shanice is going to be a comfort board for Douglas when he takes her advice and helps him heal himself. Mona going off on Dana just like she deserves. Mama Dupree went off: "Handle your business!" Could Eva and Randy be potentially paired for a one-night stand? That could be an interesting twist. Damn Mona with the continued burns, this time for Dana: "Hell was made for people like you, Leslie. Enjoy the burn." Anita questioning her own decisions and instincts feels really natural and real. It's a nice change of pace from the other matriarchs we've seen established in American daytime. Now the true Dana/Ted scenes are coming out. Anita warning Eva that she'll never be a part of the Dupree family shows the claws are fully out. Teddy fully calling Dana "demented" and "psychotic" is going to cause some problems, won't it? Notes: I fully need Maurice Johnson (Ted) gone yesterday; his performances are just not selling to me. Love seeing Tamara Tunie (Anita) beginning to get her teeth into the meat of the scripts. It's about time. Karan Kendrick (Mona) delivered today!!! She's such a breath of fresh air.
  6. Maybe, with this renewal, it'll push for international distribution, now that they know more episodes are coming.
  7. Writers: Sara A. Bibel Jazmen Darnell Brown Director: Anthony Pascarelli
  8. Credits for Monday, May 12, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Ryan Quan, Charlotte Gibson, Cathy Lepard Director: Robert Markham
  9. SAME! It's the best news right before episodes begin to air again.
  10. The return to the CBS Daytime lineup programming seems to have worked in the network's favour, and it continues to make me happy to see Beyond the Gates' success.
  11. A masterclass. A true masterclass.
  12. Glad we got some final appearances from her on GH as Lesley. R.I.P. to her.
  13. I think it comes from it being "winter" in the D.C. area, etc. But I never doubted they'd use Assembly more as warmer weather came in.
  14. Yeah; I feel like, in previous regimes, it wasn't as consistent as this. You could go episodes without it changing. I just hate the random indent on the secondary head writer.
  15. Under the Korte/Van Etten regime, it alternates every single day. So yesterday it was "Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten" and today it was "Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte". So, if we get a five-day week, one week it'll be three Korte first credits and two Van Etten second credits; then the following week, it'll be three Van Etten first credits and two Korte second credits. So on Monday, Korte will be credited first (a three-day Korte lead credit).
