  2. We are going to have to agree to disagree, because I completely disagree with your assessment. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. In truth, Flynn had it on DAYS... he was one the most stand-out talents in what I've considered to be a very stale company of "actors". He, to me, is someone who could really go beyond daytime at this point, and should at some point.
  4. Flynn is too good to be wasted on the role of Michael or on General Hospital. It's bad enough he's going to The Young and the Restless.
  5. To me, it helps solidify Ted as a character; Johnson was stiff (except for his excessive swaying) and could not emote one iota in his scenes. It was a recast that was well done. Knowing what Robinson is capable of doing, he's an asset to the cast. If they've just established it as a soap opera that patients have watched prior, I doubt the characters would appear in-universe; that wouldn't make sense at all.
  6. Because it gives him power over them. That's why, and plays into the idea Bill Hamilton holds power over them, hence his involvement in the Martin secret.
  7. But he's meant to be the outlier of the Dupree family (not Ted). I still think it was the right decision to make, and I am loving Keith D. Robinson in the role. Much more natural, and a wider ranged actor than the limits Johnson showcased.
  8. Which I think is the entire point; I think they might have seen how Maurice Johnson was portraying Ted and didn't like it in comparison to Timon Kyle Durrett's Bill Hamilton.
  9. date: Thursday, May 22 | Teresa Zimmerman, Judy Tate | Michael V. Pomarico Dana trying to buy her way back into Mona's life by way of a frosted doughnut, and she isn't biting, and nor should she. Basic-ass frosted doughnuts are nasty. I love seeing Tracy still in town (and using the alternate staircase in the home). Derek, make your s**t and G-O, GO and do not even look back! No one wants your stank, lazy, crusty, dirty, nasty ass. Love seeing the girls welcoming Nicole back to work; it's a nice community welcome! Katherine is playing this audio recording like it's the latest book craze taking over the world. Uh-oh, Ted, you just outed yourself for speaking to Dana, and we know Nicole won't be happy about that. Nor will the Febreze behind you! Might want to spray it and cleanse your office. Good on Jacob for calling Derek out on his bull, the chair and the moose head. Good on him. Dana is off of her damn rocker; there are more than a few screws loose in that head of hers. I am going to need for Nicole and Ted to take Katherine a bit more seriously. She is smarter than most police officers... she's putting the pieces together. Oh, is that a hint of intrigue on Tracy's face at the potential idea of a reunion for the Articulettes? This is what, the second time Dana has snapped at being called "crazy", right? Yeah, she is unhinged. CRAZY! The drama behind Anita's exit from the Articulettes feels beyond a solo career; could the guy from their past be part of it, too? So, June's real name is Jessica Griffin, huh? That name sounds familiar... right, Ms Anita? So June is just telling the As the World Turns stories. That's a cute nod to another P&G soap opera. Notes: I appreciate seeing a police investigation being taken seriously; it's a refreshing change of pace from other soap operas. Ambyr Michelle continues to give face like no one else.

  12. This, plus they nixed their overnight set crew during the COVID era and never brought them back.
  13. Adamson would have been the ideal Michael; he's who I've wanted for years (despite liking Chad Duell), but it does not seem like TPTB want to stick with pinch-hit actors in permanent hirings.
  14. It gives me 2010/2011 flashbacks when it was a ABC/CBS flip-flop with AMC cast-offs going to Y&R. 🤣
  15. Well, per admin request, posts like this (claiming to be an insider or having "insider info") are not allowed to be posted. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  16. Would not necessarily call myself a shipper, as I think shipping is quite an unhealthy state of mind to exist in, but would I like to see them paired? Yes, I would.
  17. date: Wednesday, May 21 | Sara A. Bibel, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Ashley, forget about Derek and embrace the man you are meant to be with: Andre Richardson! He wouldn't scratch the fridge! Derek, where are you at? A rundown motel? Or the firehouse? Dani and Pamela are absolute moods with each other. Loving their explored friendships. Uh-oh, is Chelsea's female boo not wanting to explore things with Chelsea? That's sad. Not Bill and the child bride still walking about the honeymoon they're going to resume? Please no. Dashley? No. No. Naomi, do not be team Dashley. Please. And Derek, everything about you (pre-smelly socks) annoys me. DANI PLANTING THE KISS ON PAMELA! YES!!! I'm really going to need Ashley to get over Derek; he is not the prize that you believe him to be. Let him go be the disgusting, unkempt, dirty pig he's shown himself to be. Of course Bill thinks it's about him, and then Chelsea feels insulted due to the fact she just got denied by the [married] woman she was into. Not Hayley thinking this is about Dani for Chelsea; it's about something deeper. While I get where Chelsea is coming from and fully agree with her, this is the one time she's not knowing the truth of the situation, and I wish she'd listen to Dani. Not Dana eavesdropping on Jacob interrogating Eva... and trying to continue setting her up. But Eva do not protect her. Do not. Yes, Chelsea, shut Bill down!! Let your momma support you in your coming out to her!! Look at her telling her truth... so beautiful! I'm still intrigued by what is causing Bill's hand tremors. Notes: Sean Freeman (Andre) and Jen Jacob (Ashley) have some real chemistry between them, and I hope they continue to build on it, script-wise. I CALLED IT! I CALLED IT! I knew there was some underlying chemistry with Dani and Pamela! I knew it; Cady McClain and Karla Mosley just played it up to that point! Other day and no Procter & Gamble products in commercials. Danielle Paige rocked the script today. That might be one of the best "coming out" scenes I've witnessed on an American daytime soap.
