Honestly, I'm not surprised by this, but I'm also not deterred. Viewers had to have known what was coming up, story-wise, during the Nurse's Ball.

Not to mention, Robert Newman was only hired because Burgi broke COVID protocols.

It's sad that Soaps In Depth as a brand kind of no longer exists as we knew it, and the same goes for Soap Opera Digest. But this merge, beyond the design of the website, feels right. Bringing the best of the best together.

Martin, Judy Tate | Anthony Pascarelli Dani continues to be on top of her game when it comes to her quips towards Bill and the child bride; unlike the earlier episodes, she seems more level-headed and aware. Air conditioner down, Dana? I'd be blasting that A/C! She is beyond delusional and CRAZY! Boundaries? She does not know them. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Katherine should really be pursuing a career as a private investigator because she's got that natural knack for sussing people out and situations out. It's nice to see that the child bride is beginning to play at Dani's level; that's right, honey, you got her man; now you can be her, too. Joey is going to use gambling as an aphrodisiac for Vanessa. I'm calling it. Mona got herself some sass; the stack of people lining up against Dana is becoming stronger and stronger as time goes on. I don't know; Alan sounds like he was a stand-up guy who got sold a bill of false goods by Dana, and then Eva continued to be the innocent in everything. It makes me happy that Ted is standing up, not only for himself but for Nicole, and beginning to take genuine ownership of the breakdown of his marriage. Joey shutting down the usual private room (a.k.a., not a full casino) so he can screw Vanessa on the table is a mood; I'd be down! Well, here comes Dani and her friend, alcohol. Oh, could Doug and Dani commiserate together? Not going to lie, that would be kind of hot! Get it, Vanessa! Yessss! Notes: Karla Mosley (Dani) continues to be with her acting choices today; you can tell she is truly enjoying her scripts and working with Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Marquita Goings (Hayley). It's good to see Goings showing back up to work; it feels like she has been missing since the premiere week of episodes. Keith D. Robinson (Ted) continues to show up and show his work! He's a brilliant recast and truly gives Ted the dynamics the role was previously missing. Glad to see it's continued to be confirmed: the "casino" set is a private room and not the actual casino itself.

Oh, I liked O.G. Rachel, too. But this one seems to be projecting in her acting as if in a theatre; it's a very different take on the role. Both are nice, though. And yes, nü Rachel did just get cast in the Little House reboot as Laura Ingalls (originally played by Melissa Gilbert). As for whether she'll continue on DAYS, who knows? I am sure TPTB could give her time off to film eight to ten episodes of a television series for Netflix (which may not even last beyond a singular season).

Mm-hmm, exactly. And then we also wouldn't have this insane retconned baby. 🤣 Again, he'd still be with the same characters, but instead of an insta-Quartermaine, he'd be a Webber.

Swap out Cameron's guitar for the violin, which he picked up while attending college. 🤷🏻‍♂️

nü Rachel is definitely more... theatrical than the former child actor.

He definitely has come into his own; I've maintained, since day one, he really should have been a Cameron recast; he'd still be in the age bracket with Emma/Josslyn/Trina, but just in a more organic, history-written way.

But it's clear: they did not want that as the plot (Brook Lynn/Dante). This is a made-up plot to make the casting of Giovanni Mazza work.

Mm-hmm; this is why the storyline, despite some standout performances, is an absolute mess. History of what we've seen played out is being ignored by the so-called historian "Elizabeth Korte" for their own storied history. Treating audiences like they're morons (well...) is not going to help your case.

I'm sure once the next budget comes in, they'll develop another community lot.

I agree; she's always spoken highly of her time on World Turns and how they treated her as a professional at that point.
