  1. date: Wednesday, May 21 | Sara A. Bibel, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Ashley, forget about Derek and embrace the man you are meant to be with: Andre Richardson! He wouldn't scratch the fridge! Derek, where are you at? A rundown motel? Or the firehouse? Dani and Pamela are absolute moods with each other. Loving their explored friendships. Uh-oh, is Chelsea's female boo not wanting to explore things with Chelsea? That's sad. Not Bill and the child bride still walking about the honeymoon they're going to resume? Please no. Dashley? No. No. Naomi, do not be team Dashley. Please. And Derek, everything about you (pre-smelly socks) annoys me. DANI PLANTING THE KISS ON PAMELA! YES!!! I'm really going to need Ashley to get over Derek; he is not the prize that you believe him to be. Let him go be the disgusting, unkempt, dirty pig he's shown himself to be. Of course Bill thinks it's about him, and then Chelsea feels insulted due to the fact she just got denied by the [married] woman she was into. Not Hayley thinking this is about Dani for Chelsea; it's about something deeper. While I get where Chelsea is coming from and fully agree with her, this is the one time she's not knowing the truth of the situation, and I wish she'd listen to Dani. Not Dana eavesdropping on Jacob interrogating Eva... and trying to continue setting her up. But Eva do not protect her. Do not. Yes, Chelsea, shut Bill down!! Let your momma support you in your coming out to her!! Look at her telling her truth... so beautiful! I'm still intrigued by what is causing Bill's hand tremors. Notes: Sean Freeman (Andre) and Jen Jacob (Ashley) have some real chemistry between them, and I hope they continue to build on it, script-wise. I CALLED IT! I CALLED IT! I knew there was some underlying chemistry with Dani and Pamela! I knew it; Cady McClain and Karla Mosley just played it up to that point! Other day and no Procter & Gamble products in commercials. Danielle Paige rocked the script today. That might be one of the best "coming out" scenes I've witnessed on an American daytime soap.

  4. Don't insult the deliciousness of the Orphey Gene's food like that! 😯 Wasn't that poised for August, though? 🤔 Or was that another event?
  5. The least of the problems this soap has. 🤣🤣
  6. Mm-hmm, 100% on point. And on account number two or three, at this point?
  7. Watch and form your own point of view; even in its flaws, this soap is soaping.
  8. date: Tuesday, May 20 | Ron Carlivati, Cheryl L. Davis | Shelley Curtis Pack up your crap, Derek. And take that hideous chair with you, but don't throw out the food! We know you have a particular habit of doing that. Anita being nervous about Tracey's arrival is cute, and I love that Vernon joined her. I'm just hoping Sharon will join them soon. Tomas and Eva keep getting ... teased! I appreciate him filling her in on what happened with Dana and Katherine. Dana, what in the world are you working at?! If I saw you with your evil smiles in my hospital room as I woke up, I'd be questioning what nightmare I was existing within. I appreciate the continued evolution of Tomas' backstory and where he's come from. It sounds familiar to what I've heard from others, so it's nice that true history can be nodded to. Derek, there is no way in Hell Jacob and/or Naomi want your stank-gross behind crashing on their couch. Katherine better be careful; she keeps intercepting Dana at all of these places, and if she is not careful, she may become the primary target of her plans. Dante Greene? Is he the Barry Gordy Jnr of the story? I appreciate that Tracy has some genuine feelings towards Anita and their past history. But I appreciate that she is at least open-minded to reuniting with Anita on a personal basis; it'll be interesting to see how Sharon reacts when she arrives (I am guessing). Not the wig washing. Dana's personalities and wigs must be an ongoing gag. But good on Eva for calling her out about being falsely accused of running Laura off of the road. I've said it once, and I will say it again: Katherine should be a detective, because her instincts are sharper than sharp. Notes: Can we stop having the male actors on this show sitting on tables? It's such a pet peeve of mine. Like, chairs exist for your backside to sit on, not tables where we EAT! The top they have Tamara Tunie (Anita) in would annoy the frick out of me if that flower kept hitting me in my chin. I'd be pulling that crap off immediately.

  11. No one asked for this, just like no one asked for the Little House reboot.
  12. It'd be juicy, juicy, juicy!!!!
  13. date: Monday, May 19 | Ron Carlivati, Danielle Paige | Shelley Curtis Dani and Pamela are a hoot together at the casino; they're really giving me "go girl, get yours" vibes! Katherine is totally on the warpath and is pushing every single male away. Dana is single-handedly selling her daughter out, with the unknown help of Katherine's secret recording. I like seeing both Andre and Ted giving Eva the kind of family she never had with Dana. Oh, is Dani catching onto things where Douglas is concerned? Interesting. Derek is a moron, and Ashley continues to give me a "type A" personality, with a lot of anal retentiveness/OCD. And ew, he's a trash eater. So gross. Oh, Diego, go get it! Why do I feel like Pamela vs. Vanessa is about to become a thing! But get IT, Pamela! Get IT! Not Dana thinking she knows the law when Jacob checked her immediately. Tomas is a smooth talker, and I love it. Hell, even I would fall for him easily. So, Tomas went into the Navy to put himself through law school. Quite interesting. What a nice backstory. The sexual innuendo between Joey and Vanessa while Douglas is listening on is hilarious. It's very obvious Pamela and Vanessa are not friends at all, and that's something I'd love to see play out at some point. Yes, Derek, she wants your ass out. I want your ass out. I'd be throwing you, your ugly-ass named chair and everything else OUT of MY apartment! So, Vanessa let the cat out of the bag. That's interesting timing, but Douglas is still lying to her. Notes: Again, both Jon Lindstrom (Joey) and Cady McClain (Pamela) are in scenes together yet did not directly interact. Kudos to them for showing up and putting the professional work in.

  16. He told The Chicago Tribune: ❝ It was a choice I made because I had itchy feet. ❞ Which, to me, reads he wanted to do things outside of the limits of daytime. And, after that, he did end up returning to Dynasty for an extended run and some other primetime work in L.A. Law.
  17. And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.
  18. I didn't say he was or that news came out of his exit; I said: "Once Lindstrom likely wraps up his run," not that he was. 😉 And considering DAYS has shoe-box sets, the casino set on this soap is far from as bad as many are suggesting, at least from my viewpoint. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  19. I doubt it's sticking around for much longer; it's not a oft-used set like Orphey Gene's or Uptown, so it's fine as is. Once Lindstrom likely wraps up his run, I'm sure it'll be dismantled and never seen again.
  20. See, I imagine it as some kind of "private" room within a bigger casino.
  21. Why would it be Ciara with Doug III? 🤔
  22. It wasn't his first appearance, though; per the end credits, he is a principal guest star (a.k.a. recurring).
