  1. Mm-hmm; Duplaix said the cast received an email on a Sunday stating Johnson would no longer be with them, and when she saw him a few weeks later at the Black Excellence brunch, she said he hadn't been filming for a couple of weeks, and when she approached him, he seemed in positive spirits but did not push him to say what happened. She gave him a window to say something, and he chose not to. Both she and Mann-Grant tried inviting him into the live, but he did not pop in.
  2. It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever. 🤣
  3. Not unless they live in an apartment complex. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  4. Basic script work; if it hadn't been for Jane Elliot and Rena Sofer, it could've been for any random character.
  5. Should've brought in the Tide Pods then... oh wait, is that too soon?
  6. Absolutely! From a technical standpoint, Phelps is a very well-done producer. She knows how to produce a soap from a visual focus. Creatively? Not always.
  7. I pray Eva never lets Dana back into her life, because she deserves better. Dana isn't a mother, nor is she a parent.
  8. Lanier isn't a lesbian; she identifies as queer, which is different. Spreading such false information as fact is dangerous.
  9. Very happy for both LeToya Luckett and Robert Christopher Riley.
  10. Dana has proven to be beyond unhinged from day one.
  11. date: Monday, May 5 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Anthony Pascarelli Dana is certifiably insane. Beyond insane. And I oop... Anita is about to pop off on her, and this is where it gets good. Oh God, Deadbeat, stop while you're ahead. You are not one to talk with how you treat your husband and children. Settle. Go on, Nicole. Tell Theodore exactly who his busted ass is. Not Dana comparing herself to those she's compared herself to. Damn, Katherine is really putting Eva beyond the bottom of her shoe with her insults. Savage, but deserved, because she called out Eva the first day. She knew, and not a single person believed her. Oh, Theodore, how dare you try and play yourself on the same level as Nicole; it's completely different. Mama Anita is up to bat, and she's going to come out swinging. And she delivered it to Dana in the way only the matriarch of a family could. Nicole kicking Theodore out "day by day" is everything. She's not taking this anything but day by day. W H E W... Katherine telling Eva she's dead to her. Wow. That's got to cut. Dana locking Eva's ass out and drinking her wine in her robe is the ultimate villain. True villain. Notes: Anyone trying to sell that Brandon Claybon (Martin) has improved in his acting must be lying, because this is laughable and bad. Next up for recast: the role of Martin Richardson. Omg. It's so damn bad. This man cannot act. At all. He's got to GO! Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) is showing how much she's been missed from daytime. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) once again gave an award-winning performance in her scenes. Outstanding, standout star! The montage with Tamara Tunie (Anita) singing "Amazing Grace" was a brilliant touch to wrap up the episode, and to allow us the ability of moving on on Thursday.
  12. Casey don't know his ass from his elbow.
  13. Credits for Monday, May 5, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte Writers: Micah Steinberg, Kate Hall, Cathy Lepard Director: Robert Markham
  14. They ain't got anything but recycled, stale-ass crap.
  15. Writers: Christopher Dunn Lynn Martin Director: Anthony Pascarelli
  16. Well, it's an unfair comparison; Y&R is produced by Sony Television, while BTG is produced by CBS Studios, NAACP, and P&G Studios, so there's more production behind it. CBS/Sony Television cut things post-COVID, etc., so just be thankful you got the GCAC back and the Abbott and Newman remodels, because that's a major feat, especially when your overnight set crew is taken away.
  17. You really need to let the set thing go, because it's not going to change. It's just going to drive you bats**t insane.
  18. I am so excited to see him debut as Ted; it might finally take the role in the proper directions it should!
  19. An amazing write-up, @Errol. How seeing this broken down so well in article form.
  20. What a good write-up @Errol! Nice seeing the nod to Duplaix's lead.
  21. The whole AMC 2.0 pulled it together in mere weeks to get a show up and running, with scripts and a cast. Ginger Smith seemed really passionate about being in the executive producer position, and I think she really did a fantastic job in six weeks. It was just well done.
  22. Per recent Twitch live: Wraps filming his new film on Friday. Begins a new film on May 19. Will resume regular Twitch streams soon. Has a lot of projects coming out later this year. His current project has kept him in Tennessee longer than he was meant to be.
