  1. It was the only way of explaining it; they wouldn't shoot Sofia or Johnny kissing, despite other cast members sharing those intimate moments, and they kept avoiding her mid-section, and, once they revealed Sasha's pregnancy her stomach was showing again.
  2. Because, again, I do believe Gibboney had the ability to pull from the vulnerabilities of the character that allowed you to feel for her, even when you shouldn't have. Once Mattson was cast, that vulnerability just went away.. and it changed the character's origin.
  3. They definitely were two different characters. And I have to wonder, if Gibboney stayed in the role, where Gina would've gone.
  4. Do I suspect a time jump to a nine-month pregnant Cristal to show Daniella Alonso's real-life pregnant belly for at least once..? By episode eight, nine and/or ten, Alonso won't be pregnant (shooting-wise).
  5. For a Tyler Perry series it is definitely worth the watch in my opinion. Sure there are things that irk me, but it is a solid drama.
  6. I usually re-watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer twice per-year; during quarantine last year I must've watched it six or seven times in a four-month period. Never gets old. Oh! Why do you feel that way? I think it was due to the series' move to UPN. I got the loss of Giles and understood it, and I think that's what made his "special guest" appearances even more special. I hate the fourth season with a burning passion; I can understand why people like it, but I absolute hate it to this day. The fact Charisma Carpenter was told Cordelia wouldn't be killed off, only to get to the set, see the script and see that Cordelia does, in fact, die is an insult to her.
  7. TV Line: Degrassi: TNG Cast Talks Reboot, Craig's Toxic Relationships at 20th Anniversary Reunion Panel
  8. Meh. I was never a Claire fan until Durant took claim of the role.
  9. It really was. And I think Sibbett was trying to not bad-mouth her former co-stars, which she admitted she didn't want to do later on in the interview. To me, they both play different Gina DeMotts. Santa Barbara was always competed against other networks; had NBC maybe aired it during a time when soaps were not airing it could have faired better. Plus, I'm not sold that NBC was the right network, either.
  10. Michael becoming a Quartermaine (by name) and taking Avery from Sonny was a complete mood.
  11. Last week's episode and tonight's episode are fantastic.
  12. Considering they've waiting this long to cast the next season I have a feeling major shakeup is happening.
  13. I completely agree; replacing Linda Gibboney with Robin Mattson was a mistake. Gibboney embraced the vulnerabilities of Gina.. which became lost in the deceit of Mattson's portrayal. Plus, Gibboney's work opposite Ava Lazar's Santana was incredible. Jane Sibbett said she did not like rehearsing love scenes without a director, and that Richard Eden did, and that's all she would say. In an interview, she stated: "Richard Eden ... no comment. We didn't get along. I didn't like rehearsing love scenes without a director and he did. Enough said?"
  14. I need Michael to become Michael Quartermaine again... he was twice the character Michael Corinthos is.
  15. See, I'm on the opposite side of that argument. To me, Olivia Rose Keegan over-[re]acted in the role of Claire; Durant has leveled the character, which was needed.
  16. I completely agree and have always stated: the Dobsons, while they may have had a vision for their soap, made a lot of mistakes... especially within their first year or two.
  17. Based on the scenes I've seen (as my first-watch of Santa Barbara is still on-going with Davies in the role), Lester was much more Mason than Thomson was. Again, this would be an alternate universe.. and in my universe, Arvesen would return to The Young and the Restless, hah. Lynn Clark was perfect as Lily Light... and knowing they recast was heartbreaking. That being said, Paula Irvine, to me, would've worked better with Linda Gibboney's Gina, who I ADORED! Knowing what we know now about Richard Eden, the role would have to be recast, in my opinion.
  18. Good to see GH improve, as it should.
  19. Is Sofia Mattsson pregnant in real-life, or are pregnancies on General Hospital just erratic as all-get-out!
  20. I need NBCU to stop stalling their horses and release the rest of the publicity portraits from last year and this year.
  21. I'm really going to need Disney-ABC to either release new publicity portraits, or conduct a whole brand-new shoot and release those. It's about time.
  22. x So, Days of Our Lives is likely three-to-four months tape-to-air, per the latest Soap Opera Digest report.
  23. Not surprised. The character has run passed its expiration date.
  24. A young woman, destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, deals with her life fighting evil, with the help of her friends.
