Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I genuinely don't see Bethenny Frankel returning to The Real Housewives of New York at all... at least, not in the near future. As for leaving her deal, she explained why. The Big Shot actually did not bomb; I'm just sure the restrictions her deal with Mark Burnett and MGM (horrible company history, btw) prevented her from doing other things she wanted to do.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The only time I recall Leah mentioning her grandmother, in terms of excusing things (a.k.a. the radical behaviour) was in last night's episode when she said "I don't have time for this. My grandmother is dying." I do hear, though, Ramona mentioning it as a reason why she's excusing Leah's behaviour and outbursts, to which Eboni corrected her's was dying, as well.

BET - Tyler Perry's 'The Oval'
Am only caught up; have binge-watched the first season and first-half of the second the past week, and damn... I am hooked. Ed Quinn and Kron Moore were perfectly cast. I'm just upset BET airs edited-language. I want it fully uncut. However, the fact Tyler Perry is the most-created is the series' problem.

Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
Firing Carrington Garland was a mistake. Completely. And the reason she was given, to me, was B.S. Garland, to me, was the essential Kelly Capwell and if Santa Barbara were ever rebooted, I'd want her to return to the role. I do think, had Eileen Davidson been cast in a different role she would have been more successful. I've only looked at clips of Davidson's time as Kelly, and it is a bit off... but I don't blame Davidson as an actor. The writing just flipped for the role of Kelly... at least from my point of view. I think, between all of the executive and writing regimes, each wanted a different family opposite the Capwells, and they never stuck. The Lockridge family should have continued to be the adversary family (a-la the Abbott-Newman comparison on The Young and the Restless), and they failed to keep that connection. Hell, even a B-level family in the Andrade family seemed to come and go faster than the speed of light. By the end of its run, I think adding an influx of recasts and new characters it just was too late to re-structure Santa Barbara for its success.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Last night's RHONY was even more awkward than last weeks. Heather's attempt to say she's immersed in black culture because she worked with Beyoncé and P. Diddy is laughable. Her moral superiority has returned, and it is even more off-putting than it was before. When Sonja seems the most level-headed of the ladies then you damn well known there is a bigger issue at hand with Luann and Ramona. Hell, even Heather was problematic. No. This is how Leah was meant to come on the show, via Bethenny. When Bethenny ditched at the eleventh hour, they threw Tinsley into the mix in order for Leah to enter. Well, Leah even said in-episode that she wasn't even sure she would be able to be at her bedside with how many people were there, and even her mother didn't want her coming, so she was probably respecting that wish while struggling with the decision. I also think we shouldn't be judging Leah's decision to be on this trip, because the same thing could be said about Eboni not being with her mother and grandmother. We all deal with grief in different ways and in our own time, and we shouldn't be judging Leah based on hers. Which is why, by the conclusion of the episode, she decided to ditch and leave earlier than she intended to.

I'm not sold on it, honestly. I'm for Chanel being more sexually fluid... but, the Allie pairing is not it for me.

Bell's writing has become stale and predictable. He has run his course and it makes The Bold and the Beautiful so off-putting to watch.

CW Seed removed Dynasty some time ago. And, as far as I know, Paramount+ does not house Dynasty. Amazon Prime had it (via IMDb TV), but that deal ended.

It's realistic, and given the trauma of what happend with Edward, it does make sense.

The same thing kind of happened to Lulu when she became a mother to Rocco, and then they tried throwing her randomly into this investigative reporter bull. It didn't work.

The original Dynasty needs to return to streaming, along with the 1991 two-part reunion special.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It has nothing to do with Luann not articulating herself well; Luann straight-up took it as a personal insult and put what Eboni said re-education into what she believed was about education, yet, Eboni was speaking on a technical level, and Luann took it as a more metaphorical one.

I agree, however, I just hate what Bradley Bell did with Sheila. Mixed her into his mess of a production and writing. The character deserved better.

From what I'm aware of those who get drunk (as I don't drink) it relieves your inhibitions, but, did the cop really know she wouldn't kill him? It doesn't excuse her threatening someone. Dubrow would give us more iconic moments, like defiled cake, etc. I liked Braunwyn her first season (what I saw of it), but, from the clips I saw of her second go-round, she was different. Honestly, I do think it's too early for Orange County to begin production again... but, am interested in seeing the decision Bravo makes, and am hoping they do shake things up effectively. Meh. Vicki got her casserole, so her time was done. 🤣

Brad Bell, in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, stated he chose to ignore everything The Young and the Restless did, essentially retconning years of writing. That was more-so fans trying to clean up Bell's poor historical retcon.
