  1. Martin, for me, would be a Stravros recast option. He doesn't suit Nikolas for me. And Huss does have dark hair and dark features.
  2. I can understand that. But, at the same time, to the best of our knowledge, Tyler Christopher did not have Greek-Russian ancestry. He was Scottish, English and German. But his darker features helped him, and Adam Huss has those features in a much more subtle way. Again, we've not yet see Huss beyond pinch-hitting for Marcus Coloma (who shouldn't have been cast), and he hasn't really played Cassadine much. I could see Huss vs. Constance Towers' Helena, but I can see why others wouldn't. In truth, to recast Nikolas again would be futile from my opinion, especially since it's clear they're dedicated to Huss' work in the role and he's willing to work when called.
  3. I don't think anyone is talking down on Benard nor his struggles. I feel for him and what he's endured in his lifetime but, as you brought up: if he cannot or will not play a storyline, or ANY actor for that matter, then they should reconsider things a bit. Especially since this is not the first time Sonny has gone off of his meds. He's done it before. It makes me feel like he's always approached them about Sonny going off his meds, or he's been asked if he's okay with it, and this wasn't OK'd with him. And either way, he's an actor who provides a job. And I'm all for people being comfortable with their job, but what I'm not okay with is providing an ultimatum (which is ultimately what I feel Benard did in the end).
  4. From what we've seen, he works quite well. But we have not seen enough of time, aside from pinch-hitting and one-off visits, to form a viable opinion.
  5. Whatta finale. WOW.
  6. Credits for Monday, August 26, 2024: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Suzanne Flynn, Scott Sickles Director: Frank Valentini
  7. Her exit from Restless was because she spoke-out against Lynn Marie Latham, so the result was she was cut. When Maria Arena & Hogan Sheffer were brought in, they crafted up the Victor/Ashley reunion storyline, which is what prompted her return to Genoa City. I do believe had Arena & Sheffer not been put into their positions, Davidson would have stayed at Bold for longer than she did. But clearly, Bradley Bell knew she'd leave eventually.
  8. I am sure Ava could have been written out of the corner... but who knows what could've happened. No, he confirmed he told Valentini he'd have to be recast if the story didn't end, because he'd have to check himself in somewhere. It's insane.
  9. They will all exit; it's only a matter of time. It's what Bradley Bell does. It's his M.O.
  10. And are we surprised? And then she jumped back to Genoa City.
  11. Well, Lucky & Nikolas, yes. And Lulu's painted hands, courtesy of Maxie, haha.
  12. Abbott vying for a Forrester while battling a Logan. Classic. William J. Bell would've enjoyed it. And then Ashley was sparked with Storm (then William deVry, who was nearly Tucker on Restless).
  13. Not going to lie... Ashley vs. Brooke was a fun feud, and I did like Ashley with Ridge. It's one of the last decent things Bradley Bell did.
  14. Beautiful!
  15. Gloria Monty introduced the Rick Webber the recast. Michael Gregory played the role from 1976–1978, and Chris Robinson portrayed the role from 1978–1986 (his initial role); Robinson later returned for stints in 2002 and 2013.
  16. I completely understand the decision, however, I am wondering why General Hospital is not on Disney+ (via Hulu). That is a decision that does not make sense.
  17. As of this morning's episode, we are officially in "season 60" on Peacock. Season 58 is gone. This soap is absolute MESS! Thank goodness the "writer" is out, and hopefully these kind of... embarrassing flubs will be OUT.
  18. According to Soap Central, Kathryn Hays played Leslie Jackson Bauer from March 10 1971 to July 23, 1971, and she made her first appearance as Kim Sullivan on August 31, 1972, so about a one-month time between the roles.
