  1. The Pope said that the vaccine was fine and the right thing to do. (AP article from Sept 15) https://apnews.com/article/health-religion-coronavirus-pandemic-pope-francis-raymond-burke-b2f2b16321f0275e7b57fbadbd5cfaec quoting the AP article: Significantly, Francis didn’t cite the religious objection used by some who refuse the vaccines. Some conservatives have refused to get the shots citing the remote and indirect connection to lines of cells derived from aborted fetuses. The Vatican’s doctrine office has said it is “morally acceptable” for Catholics to receive COVID-19 vaccines based on research that used cells derived from aborted fetuses. Francis has said it would be “suicide” not to get the jab and both Francis and Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI have been fully vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech shots. Video statement with English subtitles Transcript: "In a brotherly spirit, I join in this message of hope for a brighter future. Thanks to God and to the work of many, we now have vaccines to protect us from COVID-19. They grant us the hope of ending the pandemic, but only if they are available to all and if we work together. Being vaccinated with vaccines authorised by the competent authorities is an act of love. And contributing to ensure the majority of people are vaccinated is an act of love. Love for oneself, love for one’s family and friends, love for all people. Love is also social and political, there is social love and political love; it is universal, always overflowing with small gestures of personal charity capable of transforming and improving societies." 2. deleting because I posted duplicate
  3. I know someone in real life who has an autoimmune condition. She learned that her condition could (*maybe*) have the *potential* to trigger a large reaction to the vaccine (a flare-up of her condition). Her primary physician says she should get vaccinated anyhow, but she won't. My take on that: I'd be willing to risk having a big uncomfortable reaction to the vaccine that takes me days (or weeks) to recover from, but from which I will eventually recover and regain equilibrium. I'd prefer the annoyance of that to getting COVID and dying from it, or getting COVID and having longterm aftereffects such as "Long Covid". And I'd especially get vaccinated so that I can protect anyone I interact with. In fact, I myself have an autoimmune condition, and I got the shots and the booster, and my doctor told me to get an extra booster (fourth shot) in a few months. The shots have not triggered any unusual reactions or flare-ups of my condition. Yes. This.
  4. They eventually put it up on both the Days and NBC facebook accounts. https://www.facebook.com/daysofourlives/videos/1269934700175517/ https://www.facebook.com/nbc/videos/1267660047069649/ Hopefully they aren't geo-blocked.
  5. The video is now up on SB's instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CWoRbqWj5Uj/
  6. @Errol Eric and Kristen didn't "do a sex tape". Kristen drugged Eric, raped him, and filmed it.
  7. That fits with Zach Tinker being at the DAYS cast/crew Halloween celebration. And Greg Rikaart being at the on-set observances of James Reynolds' 40th anniversary on Oct. 29th, and the Days 56th Anniversary on Nov. 8th.
  8. The article doesn't give any spoilers. It says only that Sweeney appears.
  9. Saturday Night Live. "Republican or Not". Kenan Thompson as the game show host. Simu Liu and Ego Nwodim as the contestants.
  10. I lack insider info. But your theory seems reasonable.
  11. @j swift Your posts indicated an assumption that SB appeared on The Talk there to represent GH. No. He was there because he won a fan poll. All the actors who appeared may have needed permission from their shows to appear (so in that sense they "represent" their shows) .... but their shows didn't send them. (See my previous two posts on this thread for details.)
  12. Steve Burton and John McCook receive the soaphub fan poll awards for favorite GH actor and favorite B&B actor.
  13. Soaphub awards were based on fan polls. Each of the four US daytime soaps had a category of "favorite actor" and "favorite actress" . Basically whichever actors/actresses got the most votes. There were also fan polls for "favorite show", "favorite feud", and "favorite newcomer". Winners of the fan polls: GH favorite actor and actress: Steve Burton and Laura Wright. Days favorite actor and actress: Robert Scott Wilson and Victoria Konefal. B&B favorite actor and actress: John McCook and Jacqueline MacInness Wood. Y&R favorite actor and actress: Eric Braeden and Michelle Stafford. Fan poll for "favorite feud". Carly/Nina won that. Fan poll for "favorite newcomer". Nicholas Chavez won. And fan poll for "favorite show". GH won. Laura Wright was there as favorite GH actress, and LW was also there with Cynthia Watros for the favorite feud award. And LW accepted the "favorite show" award on behalf of GH. There were only two non-fan-vote awards. These were determined by soaphub staff. 1) James Reynolds received the "soaphub editor's award" based on his 40 years on Days (That is how it was described). One of the hosts of The Talk also mentioned his time on Generations. 2) Soaphub gave a "Heritage award" to "Bradley Bell and the cast, crew, and staff, of The Bold and The Beautiful" (They said something it being because of it becoming 35 years old in March 2022.). One of the hosts of The Talk mentioned B&B covering social issues such as opioid addiction. Steve Burton won the fan poll for "favorite actor on GH". So per The Talk's publicity, that's why SB appeared. Sheryl Underwood asked him about Stuart Damon. Perhaps her question was planned in advance. Or maybe just before they taped, SB told SU he wanted to mention Damon? I have no idea. Of the award-winners, these appeared on The Talk: SB, LW, Cynthia W., Chavez, Victoria K, McCook, JMW, and Michelle S. Robert Scott Wilson, Eric Braeden, James Reynolds, and Bradley Bell did not appear.
  14. Thanks @Errol So that's the CBS audience requirements. Would CBS have the same requirements for talk show guests? They weren't wearing masks but do they have to be vaxxed?
  15. @victoria foxton I wasn't telling anyone where they should post. I was simply answering soapsuds' question "was there a thread about it" (in reference to "Day of Days") -- I replied with the link to that thread. But since I didn't quote the question I was replying to, I can see how you might have thought I was making a separate statement telling people where to post. But I wasn't. I'm not here to tell people what to do. I'm just here for the conversation.
  16. The front cover of SOD has pics of Peter, Anna, Jason, and Drew, with the headline "GH Final Showdown: Who Will Survive?". (This is in reference to week of Nov. 22). Thus it seems that SB's exit would be Jason's death or presumed death.
  17. Day of Days thread is here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/60308-articlehow-to-take-part-in-second-ever-virtual-‘day-of-days’-fan-event-where-to-go-the-stars-attending-and-what-to-expect/
  18. A Very Salem Christmas will stream on STACKTV in Canada on Dec. 16, the same day it premieres on Peacock in the U.S. (via Jeevan Brar who runs thetvwatercooler.com -- which covers soaps in Canada).
