SMH @ this Rafe/Jada crap I can’t believe this storyline was botched so badly. So many times, Days has set itself up for a great storyline but rushed it in favor of something else. Something else that’s either not as good or just flat out awful. (Hi, Dimitri!) And Rafe/Jada was no different. This is another thing that I’m hoping we don’t see with the new writers. Btw, I really hate those stupid ass faces that Galen Gering makes when he’s Fake Rafe. Even more than JPL’s 😂 EJ and Belle were hot though. I don’t see them as this endgame couple or anything but I like what this could lead to for the two of them and all the other characters involved with them. I just hope that Belle isn’t dumbed down in the process. And again, poor Javi.

Or at least not write everything like a big stupid joke. In any situation, the obvious propping is just gonna make me hate the character even more 😂

Yeah. The plot to kill Sheik Zahedi, which definitely should have happened on Texas, not AW, could have been another good cliffhanger too.

Agreed, that they didn't set up a good cliffhanger on AW. Idk if Alex going to get Iris' plane turned around would've gotten me to watch lol Maybe if they had only set it up for like a week or something, the cliffhanger on AW could have been Alex seeing Iris at the opera, then you pick up the story the following Monday on Texas. I mean yeah, that's not the best cliffhanger in the world but I think it's better than the non-cliffhanger that aired.

It helps 👍 We still don't know why they set up so much of Texas on AW but maybe we'll get an answer someday lol I, myself remember thinking that maybe it would have been better if the set up on AW had only lasted like a week or so, instead of the whole month.

May I suggest reading the episodes summaries from Another World-July 1980. 😂 That made it easier for me to follow Texas when I started watching.

Again, everything was written like a big joke. Like, wtf? And there was so much fluff and pointless filler and stupid Leo rants once again. Practically nothing happened until the wedding scenes. Did Jamey break down the whole week? Were episodes like this part of the reason why Ron was finally fired? This was not a good week for Days. Everything would’ve been so much better if it hadn’t been written like this. This is why the thought of Ron attempting a suicide mission crossed my mind because I don’t see how anybody could think this is good. And honestly, this is the one thing that I don’t want Beyond the Gates to become. And yeah, an outdoor wedding in January? Ok. At least they had Paulina mention it and included heaters lol. But yeah, they really need to bring the church set back. Or the chapel set. Anything is better than having outdoors events in the dead of winter. I hope there’s like a budget issue or something that’s preventing those sets from being used and that this isn’t just Ron’s anti-Catholic bias on display once again. I was kinda surprised to see Rita too. I can see why soaps need recurring characters like her, but considering that she was introduced the strike, I thought that meant that Ron had erased her from existence. Maybe she’s a Janet project lol But despite my dislike, I do have to say that Jada’s dress was beautiful. And that Javi/Al Calderon looked good in his suit too. Can’t say the same for his old man though. And all the mentions of Marcus and his relationships with Jada and with the Johnson family were really nice too. Leo, and Days in general, seemed to have become his vessel for projecting and venting out his own personal issues, IMO. And honestly, it’s hurting Days pretty badly.

Yeah. Brad and Craig. Kit had so many suitors but was so boring😂😂 It could be. Admittedly, I only suggested Richard Bekins because after I read the word “cute” I immediately thought of him 😂😂😂

Interesting. Agreed, that the male actor that was having an affair was most likely David Bailey. Maybe the younger actress was Janice Lynde. As for the cute young actor who was about 10 years younger, I know Richard Bekins is gay, but he’s about 10 years older younger than Tina Sloan lol then again, so was Ray Liotta.

I don’t understand that “Jada will be exposed as corrupt” stuff that he was spewing out today either. It was like it was written just to get the episode to a manageable length. They had a perfect opportunity to cause conflict for Rafe/Jada over the whole commissioner thing, and also for EJ to manipulate that situation to get back at Jada for getting him ousted as DA. And they tossed it aside for this garbage.

So, the man who assaulted Marlena’s daughter is not welcome in her house but the man who assaulted Marlena’s grandson is welcome? Ok 🖕 And seriously, why does every episode that this creep is in have to start with him 🤮🤮🤮 And too make matters worse, Marlena was written like Hattie today. I’m sure all the Ron ass kissers will love it but I thought the episode was bad. Even worse than Tuesday. Treating this, and EJ holding Rafe hostage, all like a big joke was not the way to go. And, when did EJ plan all this revenge against Jada? Did I miss something or is this just a sudden half assed rewrite? They’re writing it as though he was responsible for bringing Fake Rafe back to Salem and he wasn’t. Did Jamey write this crap too? It seems like it. Again, April can’t get here soon enough. Days already fired one mistake, hopefully they fire the other, even worse one too. JJ did look hot though. His scenes with Gabi were pretty much the only part of today that were worth watching. Not only because he looked hot lol but because their scenes weren’t written like a big stupid joke. They actually felt like a classic soap couple that’s finding their way back to each other and I enjoyed that.

Emma and Gio (and Trina and Kai too) are starting to grow on me. They're sweet kids and I'd much rather see them leading the younger crowd lol And I don't actually dislike this Jason/Sasha thing, whatever it is. It could be pretty interesting if Jason does end up keeping the secret about the baby from Sonny and Carly. Btw, I'm really starting to wonder how the daughter of a Brit and an Aussie ended up with a Swedish accent 😂😂 This hatchet job with Tracy is unnecessary though.

I guess I'm the only one who still ships Shawn and Belle, even though I do like EJ and Belle together 😂😂 It could be really a fun ride for them this year with And I'm definitely interested in seeing how the new writers are going to handle them, and Shawn.

What a great opening scene 😍😉😂😂 I had a feeling that Shawn wasn’t going to take advantage of Chanel but I hope whatever’s happening right now continues. It would be good family drama between cousins Shawn and Johnny. But once again, they seem to be rushing it and there’s no need for them to do that. Johnny should have found out in a later episode and the storyline could segue into his jealousy along with Chanel’s anger about Joy. I like that we were somewhat surprised by all this though. I really thought that something was going to happen between Shawn and Jada in the aftermath of this Fake Rafe crap, so this was unexpected. Tying this all to EJ and Belle and whatever’s going to happen between them would be a great decision as well. Speaking of EJ and Belle, I liked Marlena’s reaction to finding out about them, even though it did feel a little out of character for her. It’s good drama. They just need to slow the pace down a lot. There’s no reason for them to rush all of this. Again, if that Lady Whistleblower bullshit could play out for a whole week, storylines and story beats that are actually good could play out for longer than one episode. And I enjoyed Kristen’s trip down memory lane with Johnny, mostly because it didn’t come off as obnoxious or played like a big joke. And I’m sorry but I still hate Rachel. Just kill the little demon off. Or at least have Brady or somebody tell her what a horrible child she is and that they wish she’d never been born lol I’m tired of her.

There’s always a chance something “new” can show up lol I don’t think anybody knew that those clips of Ariane Muenker even existed until she posted them.
