It’s fine. I think Ron preferred brunettes anyway 😂 I wouldn’t mind seeing him as Tripp or Joey. It would be nice to see what he could do as a character that has actual ties to a show’s canvas. Having him basically be stuck with Joss and Sonny was a big mistake.

That was a huge mistake, especially since everyone had just found that Stephanie was Brooke. Like, what were they thinking? Killing off the young, grey heroine right after the big reveal happened. And probably not long after younger characters mandate had come down from the networks. I don’t get it. I’m thinking the changes were handled by Al Rabin since they started as soon as he came on as EP. But now I’m curious, were all of these changes dictated solely by Al Rabin or was he taking orders from the network? I’d love for someone to give us an answer about that lol

Poor Doug lol And yeah, I still don’t know about giving Tate a baby so soon. If anything, they should’ve waited until after John died. Then again, Sophia could be lying.

RIP Dex. I’ll miss ya, even though you were a little stupid and your taste was pretty horrendous. Seriously, I’ll never understand how all of these hot, hunky, himbos are dealt with on a Frank soap. They show up with such fanfare and then they’re gone in like two years. Dex/Evan Hofer wasn’t the first and I’m sure he won’t be the last. It’s almost like the way you treat an iPhone lol you get it, you use it for a while, then you junk it when the newer model comes out. I don’t get it. Each actor/character could have been so much more than that, especially in Dex/Evan’s case. Yeah, he wasn’t the best actor in the world but he was totally wasted on GH. They gave him such a strong background, with his family problems, his past as a mercenary, his future as a cop, yet in the entire time he was on, they mostly kept him trapped in bubbles with two of the worst characters on this show. He could have been so much more than just Joss’ sex doll or another one of Sonny’s bitchboys. Which we definitely saw in his scenes with Molly. With Chase and Dante. Even with Anna. An affair/pairing with Molly would have been so good for the fans and for the character. Same could be said for the hazing that he was receiving from the other cops, which clearly got lost in the shuffle this year. My hatred of Joss aside, that pairing ruined him. Similar to the way that the pairing with Ben ruined Ciara on Days. He had no identity anymore. And I never bought that Dex and Joss had some kind of strong deep love anyway. All they did was [!@#$%^&*] and talk about Sonny. Yeah, part of that’s nice lol but that’s not love. That’s obsession. Like I said before, obsession that makes Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction look tame. Sprina, they were not. As for Joss, all I saw of her today was just another awful character finally paying for their awful behavior. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. Sorry guys, but that’s the just way I feel. And because of all that, I’d also like to say, Merry Christmas, Cam. And RIP Britt.

It would be something good though. As a couple, Rafe and Jada are boring Those eyebrows were legendary 😂😂 Agreed, Raven Bowens really did save the character. As for Eli, I like him but his biggest problem was that he would sometimes give off that self-righteous/Daniel Jonas vibe

The Philip and Xander crushes were on full display today 😍😂😂 But I’m enjoying all of this. This is one umbrella storyline that I could definitely get behind 😂 I like that it involves so many characters and has so many smaller storylines underneath it. The only thing I’d say is that maybe they should have waited a little before Philip and Xander went to court; that way everyone’s storylines could progress a little more, leading to a big explosive reveal in court. But whatevs, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens. And I’m still wondering if something gonna happen between Xander and Stephanie. I liked the Belle/Brady scenes too. They have really good sibling chemistry and it’s good to see they each have someone to talk to about their failed love lives. And I really like that it looks like Belle is gonna end up being Philip’s lawyer in his case. Though I’d prefer it if they didn’t give us Shawn/Belle/Philip 58.0 lol I like what this could lead to for all three of them in their own personal storylines, especially Shawn’s. Speaking of Shawn, I’m glad that Shawn is back on the force and is working with Jada again. Days missed a great opportunity to do something with the two of them the last time they were on the canvas together and I hope they take that chance now. Maybe The Ava/Kristen showdown was ok. The problem with all this though is that it’s making Kristen look so pathetic and desperate. This character is stuck in a deep rut and I’m hoping everyday that she’s finally given something different to do once the new writers come in.

I just checked. Amanda’s brain tumor happened the same year as well. Again, what a year 😂

In addition to Neil and Phyllis’ newborn baby dying and Brooke’s mother dying of alcoholism. That was quite a year for Days 😂 Trish’s DID/Mike being accused of murder came after Mickey’s breakdown.

She’s too spoiled and selfish and heartless to carry on Bobbie’s legacy. Plus, future doctors aren’t supposed to leave people to die just because they’re horny 😂 Lucas is in a much better position to do it.

Why is Clyde not dead? I’m glad that he’s leaving but he needs to die, not just be in a coma. Seriously, enough is enough. I swear I think the only reason Ron kept him around was because he needed a villain that he wasn’t hot for. Or because he felt he needed a supervillain. But if you think about it, no soap needs a supervillain anymore. I do like that type of character but honestly, the days of Stefano, Victor, Helena, James, etc. are over. In the case of Days, these clowns like Clyde and Konstantin could never compare to Stefano and Victor anyway. Plus, there are plenty of characters on the canvas already who can be a villain. Hopefully, Clyde doesn’t pop up again in these final months of Ron’s run and hopefully, the new writers forget he ever even existed. But overall, I enjoyed today. There were a lot of sweet family and friends moments, especially with Steve and Kayla. And I also liked Gabi comforting JJ when he revealed that he felt he was letting Abigail down. Tate, Holly and Aaron were really nice too, even though I still think Tate and Holly are dicks because of everything that happened with Sophia 😂 But I really liked them helping out Aaron today. And even though the actor still needs work, I’m liking Aaron’s characterization. He’s a sweet kid. Btw, it’s definitely time to get Mark out of prison. I’m still not sure how he can be charged in Salem for a crime that took place in Paris.

Agreed, that the way Brooke was written today was ridiculous. Believe me, if anybody ever talked to my kid like that, I’d put them through a f*ckin wall.
