That's what I was thinking: they'll hint at a relationship like they did with Theo and Ciara, but there won't be anything serious between the two of them.

Forgotten. And he'll just go back to South Africa with Claire like nothing happened, which is stupid. I get they want to try to give characters a happy ending, but after being in love with one person for so long, for them to immediately fall in love with someone else right when they're leaving town really does screw up the characters, if you ask me. If Theo was so much in love with Ciara, why would he go off with Claire so easily? They did the same thing when Paul left.

I hope they explore it, even if they have to rewrite or revise some story projections.

Well, it is a teen storyline, so there's probably gonna be partner swapping at one point or another. It's what they do after that is what's up in the air. I'm cautiously optimistic. This is probably the teen storyline that Frank's wanted to do for years, which he failed at miserably with TJ/Molly/Rafe/Felix's random sister. But he finally has a talented cast of young people to work with, so we'll see what happens.

I saw it too, but a lot more from Spencer than from Cam. Between yesterday and today, it does seem like Nicholas Chavez can play gay well. This is a good point. Nikolas really is to blame for everything that Spencer has done. But at least the show is establishing that. It’s a vey interesting dynamic between the two of them.

I do sometimes wonder if he purposely diminished the presence of George Reinholt and Jacquie Courtney, or made storyline choices that he knew they wouldn’t agree with, in order to get them to leave the show.

True, this does seem out of character of Lani after everything she did for Kristen. What would be smart is to have Eli forgive Paulina, but not Lani which could provide some good conflict for them I noticed that too. Honestly, this storyline has the potential to be really good. I hope they play every beat of it.

I’m looking forward to this one I just finished watching what’s available of Richard’s 1998 stint on AW and I enjoyed it. The Embers in the Snow stuff was a little stupid lol and getting rid of Charles Keating was a mistake (I do wonder if he had a hand in that, as AWHP suggests) but I really liked most of the stories especially the fallout from Michael and Shane’s deaths and the effects it had on Vicky/Jake/Marley/Donna.

I think it had a lot to do with people who weren’t going to adhere to his style. But the more I read his book, the more it seems like there was some scheming going on, on his part

Exactly! That’s the way it needed to be done. Have Ben and Ciara keep themselves apart rather than half of Salem do it. (I’m still Team Eve btw) That way you have fans actually longing for them to be together

Once in a while, we get a really good episode. Just imagine how good it would be if they didn’t rush through everything. Agreed. They had their run. It was good for a while but now really should just be sent off somewhere. It’s definitely time for a new triangle

True, the Ben/Ciara scenes were pure FF material, but I enjoyed the Sami/EJ and Philip/Lucas/Nicole scenes. I thought they all did a really good job. It sucks that this storyline is going to be cut short though

So I guess we have to also get ready for a Drew/Hayden pairing
