I enjoyed the reveal. My only problem with it was the same thing that often has been on a problem on Days lately: Too Fast! Everyone behind the scenes is always talking about how much time they have to fill when it comes to a soap, so use some of that time to have a great payoff for your storyline. This needed to play out for a lot longer than just one episode, and yes, there needed to be more people at the ceremony. Abe is Mayor, for Christ's sake!!! At least have some extra playing a photographer, reporter, etc. there to cover the event. And yeah, Susan is just annoying. She really wasn't needed in the possession storyline. If they're borrowing from movies for this, they should have her take the demon into her own body and sacrifice herself like at the end of The Exorcist.

My guess is the since the Cin bombing, all these people aren’t allowed to have weddings and other ceremonies inside the actual church anymore 😂😂

I liked Roman and Kate today and I’m glad that they’re back together. He really is a steady hand in her complicated life. And I’ll always be a fan of one storyline driving another. Having Possession 2.0 be the catalyst that has the Abe/Lani/Paulina storyline reach its climax was the right decision

It’s simple. You bring back RJ, have him fall in love with some girl that Brooke doesn’t approve of. Have Brooke believe she’s an opportunist, just like Stephanie thought of her.

I still feel a little bad though lol. You think you’re past a role you’ve played only to see your replacement become hugely popular which makes you realize that you aren’t actually past it. It must be a pretty bad feeling

I’m really looking forward to this. I’ve always wondered if Will was a good writer lol and of course it’ll be great to see him again 😍 I do hope he does a video about this though 😂😂

Agree about Chase 😍 I like Eden and I think she’s a good actress, but she’s definitely the weak link in that group.

What’s with everyone wearing Jason’s t-shirts all of a sudden? First Chase, now Valentin. Gotta admit, it was kinda nice seeing the teens without Joss lol And why was the Lopez hyphen Fitzgerald guy from Passions being so mysterious with Curtis? Just tell him flat out that you’re his father.

I think the fact that pretty much all of them worked together at some point over those years, and the fact that their styles were similar to begin with really contributed to the cohesive flow all through that time. Days ended up being one of the few soaps that was actually successful when it ventured into “Copy GH” mode. The same couldn’t be said for Anne Howard Bailey though. I’ve haven’t seen much of her work on Days but a lot of people weren’t big fans of it.

The Rex thing was just stupid. It was not necessary and it created a gaping hole in the plot. You would think Rex would pick up a phone and talk to his parents or brothers or whoever and eventually tell them that Sarah wasn’t with him. That doctors without boarders crap from today’s episode was a pathetic explanation. This is what needed to be done: no mask crap. Kristen just simply sends Sarah to the Dimera island and has a forged letter written up telling Xander that Sarah doesn’t want to be with him anymore. Xander refuses to believe it, so he goes searching for Sarah, never marrying Chanel (Haha anybody remember that?) At the same time, Gwen finds some info that could send Dr. Snyder (who doesn’t get killed off so quickly) Snyder then sends guys to kill Gwen so she goes on the run, eventually meeting up with Xander and falling in love. Makes a lot more sense, doesn’t it? As for today’s episode, I enjoyed it. EJ and Nicole are great together. And once again I will say it: Eileen IS Kristen!!!

It did seem like JER just recycled a lot of the plots from his first run (John/Marlena/Roman, Bo/Hope/Billie, Sami/Lucas/Carrie/Austin, Lexie having an affair), almost as though no time had passed between his two runs. Plus, writing Passions at the same time must have taken a huge toll on him. I need to go back and watch that era. My memories are a little hazy lol

No. That was in 2002 under Brash/Cwikly. 2006 was the end of JER's second run.

It's probably more the Stacy Haiduk stans, not the Stacy as Kristen fans 😂 As for what's next, probably another soap vet that hasn't worked in a while.

It seems like a sweeps stunt. I do hope that whatever they're trying to do works out though.

I just hope this means that Eileen eventually returns to the main show permanently. Stacy was ok as Kristen, and really good as Susan, but Eileen IS Kristen, no questions asked.
