I've always enjoyed it, but I'm starting to not like how it's becoming a competition between Johnny and Allie. They're acting like Chanel is some trophy. Idk why it's being written like that when it was already fine the way it was. Well, I can believe that Nicole only latched so much onto Rafe as a way of getting over Eric (which she really isn't) or that she's doesn't think she's good enough for Eric, but is good enough for Rafe

The writing for Donna does seem to show that there was a lot of misogyny on the show during the DePriest's first run as head writer. And it also seems like DePriest repeated that during her second run as well. Poor Donna became a nutcase again who was desperate for a man. I'm curious what would have happened if fan outrage hadn't caused her to rewrite her story and Donna had been the one that was killed off.

Tbf, it was different back then. There were only like three channels, so preemptions were unavoidable, unlike nowadays where there are countless places you can watch the hearings or any other news event, but still only one place where you can watch your soap or other daytime show at its scheduled time. I still think regular programming doesn't need to be interrupted. And besides, astronauts were a lot more likable than politicians 😂

A lot of us have said that Xander should have been Alexander. He could have had the same exact stories, and they could have really played up the tension between him and Sonny. And Justin and Adrienne too. Plus, there was no reason to create another nephew for Victor when he already had three that we hadn't seen since they were babies. Alex and Ciara are cousins
