  1. I hear they're also
  2. Well, I think Ron was always Team Horita lol I think it would have been different if Christopher Sean had stayed in 2018. And I also think it would be different now for Will and Sonny if it wasn't for Chandler's schedule. Agreed. They could have had Stacy Haiduk for this and it would have made no difference
  3. I liked it. Was it better than Season 1? No, but I expected that. 9 times out of 10, the sequel isn't as good as the original. But I appreciated this for what it was. Unpopular opinion, but I thought Steve Burton did really well. Harris' scenes today with Hope really showed the range of emotions that he could convey. Yeah, he's no Laurence Olivier, but he's no Garren Stitt either 😂 He just needs something different to do, sort of like Drake Hogestyn. They've played those same character traits and styles for years and to see them do something different could really show how good they could be, as we saw with Drake on Monday's episode 😂 We definitely need Paul, Andrew, Wendy and Megan on the main show. Paul and Andrew had great chemistry. Their final scene, with the two of them acting like crushy teenagers, was sweet and the kiss was hot. And since Joey's coming back to the main show, he could really use a love interest. Plus, it's definitely time for Megan to meet her sister and brothers. I admit, I wasn't expecting the cliffhanger ending, so if this means that Season 3 has already been greenlit, I'm all for it! Just the fact that NBC/Peacock are investing so much time and effort into all this makes me optimistic about the future of Days. I hope we get Beyond Salem multiple times a year. It doesn't even need to be something like this. I wouldn't even mind a season that focused only on characters that we haven't seen in years and included no characters from the main show. Hire writers and production people specifically for that, along Ron and his team, and you could really pull it off.
  4. I'll have to pay closer attention 😂😂
  5. Well, it is technically the show's fault for writing out Will and Sonny in 2020. If they have them all on contract, they all could be used more effectively
  6. He did say once, before Beyond Salem, that he had hoped to get back on Days. This might be a stupid question, but how could she have kept it from falling down in her dress? 😂😂
  7. I wouldn't mind seeing a quad. Will could get jealous that Paul is dating his cousin lol or even a Sonny/Paul/Andrew triangle. I really want to see if there's any chemistry between Christopher Sean and Zach Tinker. 😂
  8. That's what I'm hoping for: Andrew (and Paul) to make their way to the main show.
  9. Well, we'll see what happens tomorrow. Harris doesn't strike me as the type of character that anyone on the canvas (except Megan) would want to bring back from the dead 😂 I didn't mind him in this. I just wish he wasn't playing a Jason clone.
  10. My guess is just to include that little nugget of history, which I understand. I like when Ron does that. According to the Michael Fairman interview, it was Albert Alarr who put this all together. He went to Ron to see if he could work SB into the show and it was Ron who suggested Beyond Salem
  11. I've noticed that too. It does seem Frank holds back for some reason and gets bored really quickly and tells Chris and Dan to forget a certain storyline and start a new one (Ex. Curtis and Hat Dad)
  12. True. The original prisms looked a lot better
  13. Count me in as someone else who loves jealous Spencer. Sprina and Rorina are both viable pairings and I hope every beat of that is played. I'm here for the Spencer/Rory rivalry and war.
  14. Love the bro hug at 2:20 😂 Yeah. Sometimes I feel like all of their egos are going to be the thing to do them in lol
  15. Nah... I feel the same way sometimes too 😂 Guza pretty much drove a truck through the show, but at the same time, the storylines and the day to day writing was just so much better
  16. See what can be done when there's just a little more money to spend 😂 The Bo and Hope scenes were absolutely beautiful. It definitely was the type of reunion and goodbye that all soap fans, not just Bo and Hope fans needed. Scenes like that are what soap opera is: not mean spirited camp, not reality show ripoffs, not over the top, out of character shock value stunts, just the love and the bonds that people can share between each other and with their friends, and family. I also loved Paul and Andrew and everybody else dancing to Bo and Hope's song as well.
  17. Off to watch Episode 4… Agreed, and I’m enjoying BS 2. Most of my criticism stems from the problems on the main show. Van ❤️ My first serious crush 😂😂
  18. I can see that happening. We got lucky with Zach Tinker, maybe we'll have the same luck next year. Paul and Andrew are good together and bringing them on could actually lead to a good, non-Leo storyline for Will and Sonny. It should be the other way around. The guy with no experience should be taking tips from the guy with expericne lol
  19. That is true though. Jamey does seem to be the problem. I don't understand why Ron, who's got 20+ years of experience in the business is taking so many ideas from a guy who's only credit is a failed TV show.
  20. That sounds familiar lol but I don't remember. I know they fought on the pier and at the hospital.
  21. Where did all that hair go? 😂😂
  22. Can't forget the Penthouse Grill 😂😂 As for today's episode, I really enjoyed it. Belle is a ho, but I'm totally here for an Ejelle pairing until they inevitably reunite Shawn and Belle. I hate what was done to Sami and Lucas, but their scenes today stood out from the rest. There's really nothing else they could do with Lucas once he's cleared (or not) of Abigail's murder, unless they really invest in the character. Can't wait for Sami to find out tomorrow either!
  23. I'm still enjoying it. I love how they're putting Paul and Andrew through the tropes that every soap couple goes through before they finally became a couple (Sharing a hotel room with one bed, tying ties, etc.) I also love how excited Paul is for their date at the gala The dynamic between Tripp, Joey and Wendy is also fun to watch. I'm interested in seeing if they plan on doing anything more with her in the future. And I do think NuJoey is cute, but y'all can have him. I'll stick with Tripp 😂😂 The weakest part for me are the Heaven scenes. Peter Reckell and Loretta Devine have good chemistry, but damn are those scenes cringey. Even more cringey than Craig and Leo's failed wedding. That's literally the only thing I have a problem with. And, with the way that it's being written, the fact that Bo was able to get a second chance to go back to Earth and save Hope makes me feel really bad for the countless dead people that had to have attempted to do the same thing before Bo did only to have their request denied 😥😂 And, I see they made a mistake when Bo was pleading his case: it ended up not being Hope that was in the cage, it was Greta lol a stupid rewrite at the time but still...
