No wonder why Naomi and Ashley are such good friends; they're both so douchy 😂😂 And that's too bad because in the first few months, Naomi was my favorite Dupree grandchild but now I'm not so sure. And, Andre did look hot at the beginning, but I still think they need to free him from both of his women.

Agreed, with everybody about the Ronnie storyline. It was nice to see Erika Slezak on my TV again, but honestly, what was the point of it all? Especially now that it's been wrapped up in a nice, neat little bow and will probably be forgotten about. I'm not a fan of storylines like that, in general.

Agreed. The stakes need to be higher, in a lot of storylines actually. I'd be invested if Gwen and Leo were gone 😂😂

I remember somebody on here posted an article by John Kelly Genovese a long time ago, where he discussed 1982 AW and one of his main criticisms was that Steve's family wasn't even acknowledged when it was revealed that he was alive. Which can sort of be tied to one of AW's biggest problems; a lot of writers, producers, etc. post-Lemay/Rauch never did their homework.

Well tbf, if your son was beaten half to death, wouldn't you want to know who did it? 😉 I wouldn't mind Kate taking on Xander somehow. As much as I like that her and Roman are happy together, she sometimes feels out of her element in the Pub lol that's why I was glad that she went back to Titan.

Team Abe. The little subtle digs he was making at Paulina today were unnecessary and just made me want to be on his side even more. We definitely need to see his POV a lot more in this storyline. And even though I liked Roman and Paulina discussing Abe and their shared history with the Dimeras, maybe Roman should have had more scenes with Abe today, that way we would've finally gotten that POV. Or at least let Abe confide in Liam or something, in order to build more tension between him and Theo. I thought Gabi was used pretty effectively today. Her and Theo did have a little chemistry. Not as much as he had with Arianna, but I think that there's something there. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. And I liked the way that she comforted Javi too. I like seeing their relationship onscreen, and I thought AC did a better job today than yesterday. But yeah, Gwen is still not necessary though. But better she be possibly paired with EJ than with Xander. And despite her suspicions about Tony's disappearance, I stand by what I think is going to be revealed at some point in the future.

Yep. Ron definitely let his worst qualities as a human being write those storylines. Then you add in Jamey Giddens, who just makes everything ten times worse, and that was the crap we were forced to endure. Not to mention, the Dimitri storyline was a complete waste of a talented, charismatic and breathtakingly beautiful actor.

The Gio/Tracy relationship is literally gold, and yet GH continues to downplay it in favor of Gio having a relationship with his half dead schmuck grandfather 🖕

ALL: Worst re-writes in soaps history
Days Craig, after 40 years of being married to a woman, giving her two children, loving her unconditionally, and basically being devoted to her in every way possible, suddenly revealing that he's gay and in love with Leo. Dimitri, after being willing to let Leo die a horrible death in Beyond Salem, suddenly revealing that he's gay and in love with him. Two gross, cruel, nasty, mean spirited, poorly written rewrites that happened all because of Ron Carlivati's massive ignorance, and sick obsession with humiliating female characters. GH Gio: as much as I like the character and the actor, him being revealed as Dante and Brook Lynn's son. Because now, we have to believe that, Lois, who apparently didn't want the truth about her grandson to come out, randomly decided to bring her grandson to Port Charles to perform at his mother's wedding 😂😂 B&B Luna orchestrating her "rape" I know Brad and co. said that this wasn't a rewrite, but yeah, they're full of s*it 😂

Poor Hernandez family Acting wise, I think most of them did a good job. Al Calderon, Idk lol. But at the same time, I think there was something missing from all of their scenes today. We really needed to see them all bonding with the baby a lot more over the last few months, as opposed to just Javi and Leo bonding with him, especially since they're all so heartbroken by giving him up. But I enjoyed their scenes. Johnny telling Rafe that he's been like a father to him, and asking him to be the baby's honorary grandfather was really sweet. I really like when the show remembers Rafe and Johnny's relationship. But Rafe rubbing that in EJ's face was a bit of a dick move though. And I hope that this isn't the end of the drama for all of these characters. But yeah, Gabi hugging Leo? Marlena and Paulina's scenes were OK. The two of them discussing her and John's anniversary, and how proud John would be of Johnny right now was nice, but I did have mixed feelings about Marlena counseling Paulina about Abe and Theo. I hope that they're not trying to make Abe the bad guy in that situation. But I did really like seeing them meet the baby, and that the baby is going to be named after John and Paulina. John Paul 😊 And, we got some talk about the gala and the dedication ceremony of the clinic, and who's coming back for it. I'm looking forward to seeing it, and what it all may lead to.

GH: November 2025 Discussion Thread
Yeah... it's times like this that I really don't get GH. They clearly want Tracy/Jane on the canvas to be that matriarchal figure that she should be, but then there are times that it's like they also want her to be everybody's punching bag, which is just wrong.

Of course, a Ron Carlivati episode would start with a guy looking all hot 😂😂 Vanessa is definitely trying to infiltrate Joey's organization as a way of bringing him down. As for Jacob and Naomi, this storyline is not doing her any favors, and making Jacob look like the bad guy isn't helping either. I think this storyline would work better if Jacob and Naomi were an engaged couple, or even newlyweds. As a married couple, they really should have had these conversations about children already.

Damn. I guess Peacock fixed it this year, and Days is gonna continue to be uploaded at 6 AM. But welcome back, Kate! Even though she didn't have the biggest part in today's episode, I thought she was used pretty well. Philip asking Sarah to not tell Kate about Xander beating him up could lead to something interesting happening. It's been a while since Kate's really been on the warpath lol and that could also play into Philip and Xander's newfound closeness, which was on full display today again as well. I liked that Sarah was there to counsel Brady too. Speaking of Brady, I loved seeing another parent lay down the law for their awful kid. Brady's little brat deserves everything that's coming to her. And although, I did sort of get the impression that Brady was written somewhat as the bad guy for preventing Rachel from going to see Kristen, I also think that that's not going to work, especially because Kristen and Rachel are just awful themselves. He still felt like an actual parent though, which IMO, is one of the best things that Paula/Jeanne has done. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for this One Stormy Night thing. It's definitely time to move on from this. I kinda don't even want to hear the name anymore. And we didn't really need Ari's perspective on Stephanie being the author either. But I did think we needed Ari's perspective on Johnny and Chanel adopting Tesoro. I liked seeing another member of the Hernandez family absorbing the news, and that Aaron was there to comfort her. But if that was supposed to be a chem test or something, Idk. I still can't see the two of them as a couple. Marissa Reyes did a good job though, and actually so did Louis Tomeo. I think he's improved a lot since he debuted. He and Tate were kinda sweet and dorky today too. I like their bromance 😊😊 I do have mixed feelings about the disciplinary committee possibly being the conflict for Tate/Holly though. I think you could get a lot more drama out of Sophia still being in their orbit somehow.
