I thought the initial Gwen story was pretty good. That was around the time that Ron and the writing had a nice resurgence. Having Laura be involved in it was a big mistake that totally killed the storyline though. But what Ron and his biggest cheerleader did to EOB during the Dimitri storyline was one of the grossest, most disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my life. She was literally treated like [!@#$%^&*] just because those two clowns were too biased and obsessed to tell a good story. And the Theresa thing was just a mistake, probably brought on by that disgusting Dimitri storyline, even though EOB did grow on me a little as Theresa. It seriously is a wonder how she hasn’t walked. I understand that a paycheck is a paycheck, but the treatment is just… goddamn lol

What a decline from yesterday. If this is what we’re in store for, for the next few months, then it’s no wonder that Ron was fired. Literally the only thing that interested me was Johnny/Chanel. I had a feeling that Johnny was gonna end up working for Body and Soul and as stupid as that is, hopefully it could lead to a good storyline for him and Chanel. Between that and the aftermath of the miscarriage, there’s a lot that they could do with them. Maybe the new writers will bring Ciara back to Salem… as a grieving widow 😂😂😂 And have her accuse Andrew and the ISA of having Ben killed.

Awwww Eric and Nicole 😊😊 As much as I hate that they left and the circumstances behind their exit, I have to say it was really good and definitely handled with a lot of care and sensitivity. It was a lot better than some other people’s exits. They finally got their happily ever after, I hope. I was so worried that it was going to be disappointing and honestly, I didn’t think it was. We even got a flashback montage lol And their little scenes Marlena, Abe, Holly, etc. were really nice as well. That scene totally redeemed Abe for his stupid, completely out of character decision to ask Marlena and Kayla to join Body and Soul. Did he seriously think that he could get two doctors, who are so busy they can’t even attend family weddings, to quit their jobs and become soap stars? That was really stupid and the last thing that Abe Carver is, is stupid. The Donovan’s were really nice too. Andrew is such a great big brother 😊😊😊 He really needs to be a full time character. Idk if is this is Theresa’s exit because it didn’t feel like it, but if it was, I gotta say it was still better than that disgusting, completely biased exit that Gwen got. And her phone call with Tate was really nice as well. Hopefully, they can use this to cause problems for Tate and Holly. Tate’s become too much like the stereotypical, young hero lately and he really should be messier, especially now that he’s knows what his mother did.

So, I'm all caught up in the Vault, and I really gotta say I'm enjoying Sandra Ferguson's run as TempBrooke. It didn't seem like there was much of a difference between the two of them. Sandra even delivered her lines in a similar way to KKL.

When I read the synopses, I kind of got the impression that Bill and Missy were backburnered a little after the Gregorys became more prevalent. Maybe it played it out differently onscreen and Bill and Missy were still frontburner. But I was glad to read that Pat/John and Lee was still the A story at that time.
