No ads today! And 44 minutes long too. Today was good. I liked the Holly/Nicole scene, even though Holly’s bitchiness seemed a little extreme. She did have a point though about wanting to spend her senior year with the friends she has, and with Tate. I wonder if anything interesting is gonna happen as a result of her moving in with Maggie. Eric/Justin was unexpected, but it was a good scene. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them about getting their sons back. As for Justin’s scene with Alex, it was a long time coming and I’m glad to see them reconcile. It did seem a little biased in favor of RSW though. They really need to realize that he works better as a villain. Btw, maybe I’m just not remembering but wtf does Justin have to be sorry for? As for Theresa, I liked the closure scene between her and Brady. Even though I still feel like there’s a lot that they can do with her, she really does deserve everything that’s happening to her. I guess I just don’t like seeing another female character be tossed aside because of Ron’s biases. EOB has improved as Theresa, but I still would accept a recast. I still hope they use Brady falling off the wagon/his relationship or whatever it is with Fiona to drive story. There are so many opportunities that they can take with all these characters and I hope that they do.

Drew, you tease 😍😂😂 I’m definitely the most excited for that storyline lol for a lot of reasons, but the fall out could be so good and play out for so long. As for Molly/TJ, as annoying as they can be, I was on their side today too. This is a much better conflict for them and Kristina than TJ suddenly being so anti-Sonny. And agreed that the actor playing Danny did well today. I like how the character’s been used lately. But I still think he needs his brother on the canvas with him though. And yeah, still not drinking the anti-John/Jagger Kool-Aid. I guess he really is the new Nina now. But just like how reporting a crime is not worse than committing a crime, FBI agents are not worse than mob bosses 😂😂😂

The prospect of a Lucky/Liz/Ric triangle makes this good news even better

Finally, some follow up from Monday. Plus, today was much better than yesterday or Tuesday. Eric vs EJ was the best part of today and it’s really sad that it isn’t going to continue, not only because of what happened BTS, but also because there’s still so much story that can be told for the two of them and Nicole. I really hope everything works out in the end. Btw, as much I don’t like the abrupt exit that was suggested today, I also have to admit that it’s not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Tate and Holly were kinda boring today but also a little sweet lol they really need to push some kind of relationship between Tate/Sophia, especially if Holly’s gonna be working all summer. Everything that Theresa did could play into Tate’s storyline as well. They just need to put a little more care into the writing of their relationship. They’re writing Tate and the way he thinks about Theresa, the same way they wrote Will, Johnny and Allie and the way they thought about Sami and I don’t like that. Speaking of Theresa, I hope they somehow manage to keep her around. Despite everything, she still has more story possibilities than Gwen does. As for Fiona, I hope that her night with Brady becomes an added dynamic into the whole thing between Xander and her. They hinted at some kind of animosity between her and Sarah at the end of today, and while I don’t mind it, I think that the night with Brady could cause better conflict.

Yeah… this f*ckin show, man. One thing I was hoping for with the new writers was an end to the obsessive propping. Propping that puts Ron Carlivati to shame. And sadly, it’s back with a vengeance.

Well, I’ve heard there’s a Popeyes down the block from the studio so I imagine that most of the cast takes a lot of trips there 😂😂😂 As for Abe, the idea that he got at the end of today is stupid af and totally out of character.

I’d love a quad too, but with Chandler Massey and Christopher Sean not wanting to do full time, I figured that Andrew would be the next best thing for the new writers to write for… after Leo is killed off 😂😂😂

Yeah… can we get back to the Monday storylines please? They were the much better ones. Don’t have much to say about today. Stephanie and Jada teaming up could be good, even though I still think it’s a little ridiculous that they figured stuff out faster than Marlena did. And bringing Connie into that is a big mistake as well. Seriously, this character just needs to go away because this is all just pointless and sad. Maybe Julie Dove has no problem being nothing more than Ron Carlivati’s amusement, but whatevs. I feel she deserves better. As for Body and Soul, Abe being so willing to recast the three leads kinda proves that he’s got a lot to learn about the Soap Universe lol and apologies for the way that this sounds, but what showrunner would sell the rights to his show to two 70+ year olds with no experience in producing scripted drama?
