I actually wouldn’t mind that. I’d much rather Gabi either figure it out on her own, or learn of it some other way. But what could she have done though? Theresa was basically forced on her by dumb producers and toxic writers. I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m just curious.

I think it’s because of the way her characters were treated, especially Gwen. What Leo did to her and how dumb she was written (after years of being one of the smartest characters on the show) was just cruel and disgusting, for literally no reason. It’s like it was written especially to make Gwen look as bad as possible. And the fact that it was probably written that way just because somebody (I won’t say who lol) got some kind of sick pleasure out of it makes it even worse. That totally stacked the deck against Theresa, who probably had no chance of any kind of redemption or ongoing storylines because she was paired with RSW’s Alex. Exactly. I wouldn’t blame her if she was furious about all of this.

First off, I gotta say, no Chanel. Soaps do not need a character like Connie to stir things up. She and Johnny deserved a lot better than what they got today. Btw, they’re both over the miscarriage already? Just like that? The Gabi/Ava scene was pretty good… until the end. I was really starting to get the impression that Gabi somehow figured out that Stefan slept with Ava and keeping it a secret from them. But sadly, I was proven wrong… by Connie. I liked the Alex/Stephanie scene as well. It was nice seeing them just having fun and getting all the anger out about Theresa and Everett. But I also saw it as more evidence that RSW should be playing the villain, not the romantic lead. Btw, I’ve never seen glass that didn’t shatter all over the place when you slammed it hard on the ground 😂😂

So she was ok with being written like a pathetic fool twice and discarded twice like she meant nothing? Sounds like more than one person owes Emily an apology. I understand that a paycheck is a paycheck but goddamn. The cruelty of it all is just so fucked up. Slightly off topic, but I also find it very ironic that we were told that Nicole/Ari Zucker’s exit was going to be sudden, abrupt and disappointing and yet it was one of the best written exits of the last few years. Way better than both of Emily O’Brien’s. Goes to show you how good it could be when somebody actually cares about a character that he writes.

I’ve come around to RSW’s Alex but I wouldn’t mind a recast either. Who do you think would be good? Freddie Smith and Zach Tinker seemed to fall into that category as well. All the more reason they should have gone with my idea of Sophia dropping by the cabin a lot while Holly was at work, and building some kind of thing between her and Tate 😂😂 It could’ve given Sophia more depth and more notes to play Last I heard, he had a full time job in Atlanta, so if anything, we’d probably just get visits from him.

Paul and Andrew 😊😊😍😍 They’re so good, and hot, together. And it really sucks that we can’t get them full time. I know Christopher Sean has the Netflix show but I wish we could at least get Colton full time 😊😊 Btw, I see Colton got a new tat 😍 Tate had some good scenes today with both Brady and Andrew. I really don’t know why they’re not using Brady and Theresa’s problems as a way to cause conflict for Tate and Holly. They’re too young to be this perfect and happy together. Those problems should have been the reason why Tate “came back” to Salem. He should be much more angsty over everything that happened and should unintentionally take it out on Holly. And with Sophia still lurking around, who knows what could happen. One thing though, I was interested in Sophia questioning why Tate and Holly haven’t had sex yet. That could lead to some good conflict between the two of them. As for Jack/Chad, I’m starting to lose interest in their storyline. I hope at least “Abby” made up the story that she told them today, because we don’t another retcon of this already convoluted, all over the place, storyline. And yep, I was right. Emily O’Brien just rose up a lot higher on the list of apologies 😂

I had forgotten about that 😂😂 Now that I think about it, that could have been used to keep Theresa on the canvas. Sarah remembers the kidnapping and somehow convinces Xander not to press kidnapping charges against Theresa. Not only could it have caused future conflict for her and Xander but also for Alex and Theresa, especially since they’re still married. I keep hoping that somebody will speak out about how much they hated one of their storylines, now that Ron is gone. I refuse to believe that every actor liked every storyline for 7 and a half years. I wouldn’t believe that even if we were talking about Bill Bell, Agnes Nixon or Douglas Marland.

Welcome back, Jamey… now GTFO please. Today was a typical Jamey episode. Everything was rushed, everything was a big joke, people acting out of character, historical references, Leo in drag. Hopefully, he followed Ron out the door. As for Leo, I’m sure that we all knew this was going to happen but still 🤮🤮🤮 I will say that Xander and Sarah’s wedding was nice, even though it was over and done with in 5 minutes. And I am a little interested in what’s going to happen with Tate/Holly now that Tate’s been caught. Too bad my idea for a Sophia/Tate/Holly triangle isn’t happening lol

Today was one of those days with the mostly boring storylines. I thought Johnny and Chanel were sweet, but they deserve a lot better than this Body and Soul crap. Honestly, everybody does. Btw, was it just me or were they doing some of kind of Johnny/Gabi chem test at the beginning of today? I actually wouldn’t mind that, mainly because of EJ’s reaction to it lol I don’t mind Alex/Stephanie 2.0 either but I still think they’re missing an opportunity for Alex to be the villain, to somehow get back at Xander for everything that just happened. That could cause conflict for him and Stephanie in the future. He would just need another character to talk with about scheming, like Sonny or somebody. Btw, Sonny’s gone? Just like that? And as for that final scene with Connie/“Li”, I rolled my eyes so hard, I think I saw my brain.

Oh God, I hope so.

Agreed with everyone; the shift is so noticeable. It started first with John/Jagger and that storyline and now it’s moved on to Kristina’s. Plus, there’s been a lot more focus on Joss again 🤮 Why exactly does this disgusting little trash bag get turned on by women who have accidents? Britt died because of it, and now Kristina. Is GH ever gonna realize that we’d much rather see Trina? Or anyone else, for that matter. I’m guessing this is one of the reasons why Mulcahey’s gone. But now I’m curious as to why all of this was approved in the first place if it was gonna be changed just a few months later. Btw, I really, really hope Drew/Willow isn’t dropped and that the Trina/Ava friendship isn’t ended. Part of me does think it’s a good thing that we were spared a Kristina vs. Molly/TJ custody battle, but I really hope all three of them are given good storylines in the aftermath of the baby’s death and are not just sent to the back burner. Kate Mansi and Kristen Vaganos definitely proved that they could drive story today. And I still think that there’s a lot they could do with all of these characters. All it takes is the right writer. As for Sonny, I guess we know who’s gonna save him lol

Agreed. Ron, and the scab writers too, made a really big mistake by not playing up what this all did to Alex and Justin’s relationship, a lot more than they should have. That needed to be one of the most important dynamics of that storyline, and should still be going on. And a proper Brady/Theresa/Alex triangle seems like a missed opportunity as well, especially since Brady and Theresa spent that night together. That might be RSW’s portrayal more than anything lol Well, look who the head writer is (was) 😂😂

I’m not really sure about them merging John’s storyline with the Abby storyline but I am still interested in it. Hopefully, it’ll be better then when they merged Connie’s with Bobby-Everett’s. Speaking of him, Stephanie opening up to Kayla about him was really nice. They really should have more scenes together. As for Brady/Alex, them suddenly becoming all buddy-buddy seems like the wrong move. They should still have some animosity towards each other over everything that happened with Theresa. Add in the way that each of them feel about Xander, along with Brady sleeping with Fiona and you get a pretty big mess/war between the three of them that could be really good to see. Same goes for Alex giving up everything to Xander so easily; it seems like the wrong move and also is cutting off the potential for more storylines and to add more layers to existing storylines.
