She definitely needs a backstory, especially if she's gonna stick around. If it were me, I'd probably say something about Sophia being neglected by her parents. Or being bullied at school and that Holly was her first true friend, or so she thought. She could've explained all that to Tate and then tried to seduce him later 😂

I didn’t have any problem with her scenes but they rushed it. This all should have happened a little while later. They really should have had Sophia visit Tate a lot during the summer, while Holly was working. In the process, we could have learned why Sophia is doing all this, that why her anger towards Holly would have been more understandable. I’m really worried that he’s gonna be ruined.

I’m all for Sophia trying to seduce Tate and Tate having a reaction to it. 😂 This could finally be some good conflict for Tate and Holly. Hopefully, she doesn’t immediately believe him after he explains everything to her. Or at least continues to be suspicious. She can confide everything in Sarah lol I really liked their scene today and I hope they continue to show the relationship between the two of them. And all of Holly’s suspicions and also finding out that she’s partially to blame for Sarah’s accident, can finally push Tate into Sophia’s arms. I still wish that we knew more about Sophia’s character though. As for Chad, he seemed a little stupid today. I really hope that this doesn’t become the norm for this storyline. Btw, is anybody questioning why “Abigail” has a phone, if she’s been in captivity for two years?

I love the Chad/Julie relationship. Their scenes today were some of the best. They really do work well together, though I’ll never understand why Chad left “Abigail” at the Dimera mansion. EJ being a petty bitch was unnecessary though. If there had been a reason why he told “Abigail” about her past, I’d understand, but there wasn’t. I was hoping that Chad would’ve knocked him out. The writers really need to make a decision with his character and what he’s supposed to be instead of flip-flopping between tragic hero and villain and petty bitch. And I like that Gabi is not immediately going to forgive Stefan. That makes perfect sense considering her character lol I’m curious as to where they’re going to go from here. There’s a lot that can be done with them. Btw, wtf was that conversation between Roman and Ava today?

For me, it’s the writing. The complete 180 that they did with his storyline/character is kinda sad lol

Ehhh… today was good but the blatantly biased writing was on full display in a lot of scenes and it gets really annoying sometimes. #PoorJagger Btw, somebody really needed to punch Joss in her trashy whore face today. And yeah, Ava’s been a better friend to Trina than she ever was.

As stupid and unnecessary as this Alex-Chanel/Body and Soul [!@#$%^&*] is, I appreciated that today’s episode was worked on by a real writer. You could tell from the very beginning. Today’s writing was more mature and had more depth. I liked the Xander/Sarah/Maggie scenes today and how they’re both standing up to be there for Sarah. Brady thinking that he was the one who ran her over or finding out the truth and taking the blame for Fiona could be a pretty good mess. The aftermath of it all could have a pretty good ripple effect across the canvas. And hopefully, one of those ripples will hit Tate and Holly as well. Brady and Theresa’s problems not effecting him at all is another missed opportunity. And Idk why but I like the Paulina/Jada relationship. I hope she continues to comfort Jada while Rafe’s in a coma. Btw, did Galen Gering need time off or something? Exactly. The way it’s being written doesn’t come off as respect for the genre, it comes off as contempt for it.

Ron deserved firing just for him alone. And I would not be surprised if this Body and Soul bullshit was one of his pitches. Same here. I probably wouldn’t mind it either if it wasn’t being written like such a big stupid joke The joke writing was what messed up the Alex/Chanel scene today. Any kind of “tension” was ruined because of how stupid it was written. It was like they both suddenly immature children.

Wayyyy too much Body and Soul today. It felt like a Jamey episode too. Y’all really want this on The Gates? And that’s a big Hell No on whatever may happen between Alex and Chanel. Not only because it’s stupid af, but because they’re missing huge opportunities for actual good storylines, with Johnny/Chanel and them dealing with the miscarriage. And for Alex, him coming to terms with not being Victor’s son and being pitted against Xander. I had a feeling Ron wasn’t gonna put his two straight boy obsessions against each other, but it’s still a huge missed opportunity. Btw, what was the point of Alex and Theresa even getting married if Emily O’Brien was gonna be sent packing almost immediately? I also found all the meta talk about young, sexy characters on soaps absolutely hilarious because at the same time that’s happening, the lead characters on Days are a 50 year old manchild and a 40 year old fuckboy 🖕🖕

Between Pikeman, John/Jagger, and so many other characters and storylines, all I can say is, I wonder what the original plans were.

Remember last week, when I mentioned the worst writer in existence, that worked on last Monday’s episode of Days… 😂😂

I drank a little bit of the Kool-Aid with Allie and, as stupid as this sounds, I was actually a little disappointed in myself 😂😂

Connie and Melinda, Skip I’m glad that Jennifer was smart at the beginning and immediately suspected that something was up about “Abigail”. A mother always knows. Too bad that Jack and Chad managed to change her mind. The writers should have had Jennifer keep having those doubts. Not only would it have been a good dynamic for this storyline but it would have kept Jack and Jennifer on the canvas and a part of it, which they really should be. I will say that Jennifer’s meltdown seemed a little out of character though. The Gabi/Stefan/Ava confrontation was good too. Cherie Jimenez conveyed the anger and the heartbreak pretty well, even though I wish there had been more heartbreak written into the script. I’m curious as to where they’re all gonna go from here, especially Ava, since she basically has no part anymore.
