He told Melanie he really wanted to interview Nancy McKeon after he found out they were best friends. I'd love to hear stories about her brother who sadly passed.

Coincidentally, I had been watching reruns of The Division and Nancy McKeon's character found out she had a half-sister from her father played by the late Alex Rocco, who was played by none other than Melanie Smith,

I believe Nancy now lives in Texas, I think Austin or somewhere near there. But she would be a good person to hear from too.

Yes! It was one of my favourites of all the lockdown reunions. It was too short; I wanted it to go on and for each lady to have time to discuss specifics.
I hope we can get Susan Keith at some point

Yes! Lisa! I can't believe we haven't heard from her.
I know she is born-again but I don't think she has turned against her past career, is she?

I don't think she has. I remember during the Ladies Of Loving reunion she was in the chat stating she couldn't make that reunion so possibly she will be available for a another one soon.

Susan Keith would be fun to hear from too.

Since the blah news of veteran character murdering JFP is doing The Locher Room brought a lot of people nausea...    Good News!

Christopher Marcantel has more Loving Reunions in the works!

I thoroughly enjoyed his Ladies of Loving Reunion.  So much lighter and free flowing (and so much more tea!)

No dates as yet, but he did mention how great KV looked in the preview pics for her upcoming Locher Room Reunion.

I was hoping he would continue them!!! I would love to see him doing one with Randy Mantooth, Lisa Peluso, Nada Rowland, and any of the actors/actresses who portrayed the Rescotts too.

  4. Speaking of bad times ...

Lawd! Alan Locher is having a virtual with Jill Farren Phelps...

Alan Locher will welcome Jill Farren Phelps to his YouTube show, The Locher Room on Wednesday, June 23 at 3 p.m. ET. Phelps has been the EP at ANOTHER WORLD, GH, GUIDING LIGHT, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, SANTA BARBARA AND Y&R and has won 11 Daytime Emmys for her works on soaps.

    HA Sasha "Not Fierce" 🤣

I wish they had given Willow an edge by developing an unhealthy attachment to Wylie after the truth came out, showing that something may not be psychologically ok with her after being led to believe her baby had survived. Instead Willow is a complete saint and has successfully integrated herself into the life of the child she once thought was biologically hers, and there's very little conflict stemming from Michael and Willow alone.

I 100% agree with you regarding Willow who should've had a unhealthy obsession with the baby. I thought that they were going there for a second.

  6. Kimberly McCullough - Robin Scorpio recently did a podcast where she talks about her career. And mentions when she was younger on the set of GH before Stone the actor who played her love interest who was older made inappropriate jokes in front of her. And she went to the producer at the time to get them from having Robin go on a date and to kiss him but the producer didn't hear her out.

I laugh every time they mention that Molly is about to take the bar exam. She looks 12 still. Surely they won't expect us to take her seriously as a lawyer.

I'm surprised that we got Bobbie/Maxie scenes. They were nice.

Can we please just have one episode without Michael and Willow? Just one. They are on every. single. day. It's painful.

Haley is 22 years old. It's not her fault she looks younger than she does. It will be an asset to her in the future trust me.

I too enjoyed the Bobbie/Maxie scenes - It is about time this show remembers they're connected through the Jones family. Some people on Twitter were tripping because Maxie didn't get to do these scenes with Felicia/Mac. But we saw her with Mac at the hospital. And since with Kristina Wagner's father passing away recently she is more than likely taking some time off.

Michael and Willow bore to me tears. Michael needs a romantic interest who has fire i.e. Chase/Brook Lynn.

I wish they would finally bring on Serena Baldwin and she can be headstrong and fiery. Imagine Scotty losing his you know what at the fact his daughter is interested in the adoptive offspring of the person who encourage Karen's time on the pole and onto drugs. The story writes itself, however, they refuse to bring the character on along with her sister Christina, Tommy Hardy, and Lucky back.

So we get these tepid stories with Sasha Not Fierce, Willow, and Brando instead.

Genuine question: would Tricia Cast want a front-burner storyline even if she they wrote it for her?

She IS a gem but I have gotten the impression she was a bit like Beth Maitland or Jess Walton these past few years - happy to pop up for stints and show up when needed but not eager for a full-time job. However I might be wrong. Did she give an interview to that effect?

She may not want one due to her coming back and forth between LA and Tennessee. But they could do more with the character of Nina other than cross-stitching and being the "Traci Abbott" of the Chancellor Estate isn't it.

I’m all for something different, but Ashland doesn’t seem like a man Victoria would be into. She’s much more into the wild, brooding, artsy, boyish types.

And they aren’t really selling it. The Lockes are just a miss for me.

Tara needs to be recast and Ashland could have potential but they keep seeing how "ruthless" he is but I don't see it. I would rather if they had made Ashland be a political figure i.e. Grant Harrison from Another World who gets caught up with the canvas of Genoa City instead.

I’m not sure if the U.K. programs have the same issues with renegotiating and updating ancient union guild contracts with cast and crew for today’s streaming era, but I’d love to get to the bottom of that. @Errol?  The U.K. has Equity, WGGB, and other unions too.

I wonder if part of it is that British soaps are considered more “mainstream” (airing in primetime, greater gender parity in viewership, etc.). Then again, we’re still waiting on Knots Landing and Falcon Crest to hit streaming in the U.S.

It's most likely because they aired in primetime though before the watershed is one of the many factors they get to stream online.  U.K. soaps don't also have to deal with music rights like shows in the past had to in the states. All that music from soaps of the past from Daytime and Primetime would have to edit out the Top 40 music. Look at Beverly Hills 90210 they had to edit all of that music out for muzak.
