Frank's attachment to that kid was ridiculous.  I believe I read somewhere that on Frank's page about 90% of the pictures were of NB a few years ago.  Very creepy.  I'm sure he agonized over recasting.

I've been wanting a Spencer recast for years now. If only they fall in line eventually and give us a Lucky/Serena/Tommy recast one of these days. However, the latest recast will probably be for Nelle.

I like Brooke skewering Quinn, but she’s interrupting a… commitment ceremony?

“If you continue this, Eric, you’ll be making a big mistake.”

Uh, but… they’re already married? Bradley didn’t think this through. It would have made more sense if Eric and Quinn had divorced and were remarrying.

    My thoughts exactly!!!

  3. I just need for James and the entire Bailey family to get more stories when their racial identity or sexual orientation isn't used as to teach viewers a lesson or be given. Let members of the family get more adapt in the street as well.

We waited for sixty years to have a black family on this show. I want to see more from them and not be so islanded on their own other than Uncle Ronnie.

In the latest SOD Sean Corrigan says his return is short term. Is this just a distraction for Abby as they try to work out how to salvage the surrogate story?

I've noticed that Victor/Nikki had have no scenes regarding the Summer/Kyle drama. Surely they would be invested in their granddaughter being mucked around by Jack Abbott's son?

I heard it is because they're still trying to cast New Chance. I heard from a reliable source that they're having a hard time doing so. However, you can't tell me there isn't a mid to late 30 white male in Hollywood who can't fill that role in this moment?!

I saw some episodes from the same period pop up on the BritishTV channel a few mornings ago. I really need Pluto to just release the schedules for their various channels. It's hard to decide to watch something regularly without it.

That is one of the drawbacks of Pluto in my opinion. Just give a schedule

Is this Lauren Marie Taylor in the K-Mart ad near the end?

    (lots of static)

I think I've posted this one before, but it's funny to see Christine Tudor (I think) in the Bounty ad early in this reel.

It does look like Lauren Marie Taylor!!!

This show needs to stop telling stories it can’t properly dramatize (Amanda’s father’s murder). There are a gazillion different ways they could have introduced her family. Seems like the Newman connection was a red herring.

They should've introduced them as a new political dynasty on this show. Perhaps Victor and other GC citizens could've been interacting with them for their own interests as well as donating to Sutton's gubernatorial campaign. Perhaps the family were trying to keep it on the down low regarding Amanda's parentage since it would have an affect on Sutton's campaign. Eventually, they could've had the truth come out at Sutton's inaugural ball where most of the canvas is there for November sweeps.

I actually like Amelia Heinle, as I have said before, and I think the problem with Victoria during her tenure has been mostly the writing, not her.

But it is still hard for me to wrap my head around the fact she has been playing Victoria longer than HT ever played her. And that in itself says all that needs to be said.

In the end, I don't think they'd swap unless AH herself decided to walk (not to mention HT would probably be more expensive).

In my opinion, Amelia Heinle's best role in Daytime will always be Steffi Brewster on Loving.

Since AW was/is my show, I watched this interview with skepticism. She likes to quickly say that she had nothing to do with Frankie Frame's death on the show, but if you are the EP you could step into story. Frankie may still have been attacked because story was plotted out in advance, but it could have been altered. Frankie could have not been so brutally attacked and then possibly "hid" out after the incident because she was afraid the killer would come back for her since she saw his face. Frankie could have lived. But there's no excuse for killing Ryan and Bridget. I know Michael Paul Valley left of his own accord, (wasn't there a tiff with the show in regards to his then girlfriend, Christine Tucci being let go?) but he didn't have to be killed. He could possibly have been persuaded back. Killing him ruined arguably one of the most popular couples on the show, Ryan and Vicky--after you just ruined Cass and Frankie.

There's "mixing things up" and there's causing a train wreck. I'm not sure she knows the difference. I hated the pairing of John/Felicia on AW too. Maybe others liked it. I just didn't think it was written well! Felicia was made into a vial "other woman" instead of someone that organically got closer to a long-time friend while his wife was away. Yes, it gave Anna Holbrook and Linda Dano great scenes together but I found them hard to watch. I never agreed that Felicia would have ever done anything like that to Charlene after all Felicia had watched her go through with Sharly. Plus, it ruined John and Sharlene, another of the show's long-time couples, that seemed popular with most viewers.

She's a big fan of Steven Bochco? It shows! She produces her shows like they're one hour shock episodes for ratings instead of a long-term, family stories.

    Just IMO.

Well I'm not surprised she is a fan of Steven Bochco!!! The woman literally ripped off the openings of NYPD Blue as well Michael Crichton's ER and David E. Kelley's Chicago Hope for the last version of the Another World opening. It made it seem like Bay City took place in New York City instead of a midwestern college suburb of Illinois.
