I wish they would recast the role of Tara with someone with soap experience or at least someone who has various range of emotions because this character has potential to be the next 'Diane Jenkins" if done right but the actress is unfortunately too low-energy for me.

If you're in the United States or the UK (not so sure on the latter) but Pluto TV is streaming episodes of Coronation Street from 2010. It's on a channel called DramaLife -139.

I'm curious if hypothetically you became the new EP/Head Writer of Santa Barbara if the show continued through 1993. How would you restructure the show if you had the chance to?

q on CBC did a interview with Lauren Collins (Paige) and Jake Epstein (Craig) on Degrassi's 20th Anniversary in the wake of them being part of the panel on the ATX Television this weekend.

If characters can be SORASed and be accepted, fans should definitely accept the possibility of de-aged characters to right/write the ship, so to speak. My only concern is that some rabid fan base would try to use it to weasel in, well...you know who, back to the show and nobody needs that. I'm not watching Y&R and even I don't want to see that, lol.
The walking stick don't never need to darken the grounds of CBS Television Studios ever again!!!

I just find it odd that Brad hasn't capitalized on it all. The pieces are there. Just put together a large arc consisting of the 2 sisters trying to infiltrate the Spencers and Forresters (again).
Steffy v. Diana should be where the meats and potatoes are at as it'd be a modern day Stephanie v. Sheila, but even more complex as they're blood related.
And Brad, use Lauren/Sheila/Scott backstory and have Diana come in via Finn as a nurse at the hospital under a false identity that schemes to kill Steffy and get Finn. That'd be more interesting than the drivel that is on the canvas right now.
Like I said on Twitter the other day viewers usually have better ideas than the writers and creative force who get paid to do it.

I want stories, but definitely not so far gone that Pratt or Mal or MAB would be a step up. Yet the writing is… puzzling, both on a longterm story and a day-to-day script level. I would love be a fly on the wall in BTS meetings or story pitches.
Y&R hasn’t been able to find that balance. It’s either the batsh!t-crazy sensationalism of Pratt or the wheel-spinning of late.
CBS continues to promote the show as an unfunny sitcom, which is telling. It also doesn’t feel like a show for adults. Like I know Y&R aspired to be more ABC-ish in the past couple of decades, but it’s beyond that. The tone feels like some cheap, chirpy Canadian soap opera that got cancelled in the mid-‘90s and no one remembers.
Like I also said on Twitter this weekend when I first saw that promo with Summer/Kyle/Jack/Phyllis/Nick. Is this Bill and Lee Phillip Bell's The Young and The Restless. Or a Nicholl Ross West production?
This show is unbalanced in terms of drama which is bad. Not to mention most of the genesis of these stories took place off-screen. Such as Amanda's bio father who used to work at Newman 30 years ago, who was looking for her, and Victor knowing him. We know what Victor was doing 30 years ago, which was being married to Ashley, dealing with a brashy Victoria, and fighting his feelings for Nikki who was drinking,

So Harrison gets a bedroom set but no one else does??
Victoria meets with Nikki at Society and then goes back there for dinner with Harrison?
If they're going to have these meeting places then there needs to be at least one other choice.
Has Lily made any references to her children or past marriages, or are we to treat her like a new character?
I think Lily mentioned Charlie is in film school in New York and Mattie was still in college. Though I wouldn't mind if they had de-aged them to be teens since their adolescence wasn't shown properly on screen. i.e. better stories not written from a 1985 sitcom.

Realistically, Sheila would only be viable (IMO) if they were bringing on Mary/Erica & Diana to wreak havoc on the canvas. Other than that, Sheila coming back and sparring with Quinn while yearning for Eric is pointless.

Looks like WB might own Sisters. Thirtysomething used to be on Hulu, so I guess it got pulled.
Speaking of soaps, the sitcom Soap.
Maybe HBO Max for Sisters?

The original Equalizer with Edward Woodward
Northern Exposure (reportedly a music rights issue)
Roc with Charles S. Dutton
Once and Again
Sisters with Swoozie, Sela, et al
I would love to see Once and Again and Sisters streaming. Does NBC/Universal own Sisters? Because it would make sense if it would go to Peacock.
I have some more shows I want to see streaming too.
Thirtysomething
For Your Love
Beggars and Choosers (Some kind soul uploaded some episodes on YT a few months ago)
Family Law
Soaps (Santa Barbara (I know it would never happen) Generations, Passions, Sunset Beach, Loving, Ryan's Hope)

Since the start of the pandemic last year, it's obvious we've been streaming some of our past and present shows on the various streaming networks i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc., I wanted to know if you have any shows that are currently unavailable to watch online you wish that were? Perhaps you want to rewatch or want to watch a series for the first time because you didn't watch it when it first aired?
Some of mine include
Third Watch - Surprised Peacock doesn't have it on it's site.
American Dreams - I figured because of those music rights being too expensive.
Soul Food: The Series - Showtime needs an app for their previous shows to be viewed.

Didn't Mulcahey created Buzz or had something to do with the creation of him? I think I recall if not I'm not mistaken he based him off his father?
