  1. Same! I trust the numbers, but it just doesn't feel like it. Same with Eva only being in 6 episodes. And Jacob being #1 when he isn't even lead in a storyline, but I guess he's in both the Martin and June storylines as support. Thanks again for the numbers/data!
  2. Yeah, so Ashley and Derek moved in together and it didn't work out at all. Ashley criticized everything about him. So they eventually took a break. Now Derek and Shanice are flirting and went on a date, while Ashley and Andre are doing their thing, but one night they all showed up at Uptown together on their own dates and Ashley got very jealous/annoyed and the entire date was about Derek being there and how to make him jealous. She's a bit neurotic, which finally makes her a little more interesting.
  3. June is a homeless lady that Naomi is helping. Why, I don't even remember anymore haha. But June carries an old picture of a young boy and young girl, which we all here assumes are Tyrell and Samantha (but hasn't been confirmed yet). Regina just came on last week and is June's sister. She recognizes the picture and says those are June's kids she gave up to the foster system. You'll start to pick up on this, but BTG likes to showcase a story full on for a week, then they get backburner'ed for a couple weeks, then they pop back up. The A stories cycle through in that way, which some people love and others don't.
  4. I agree with you all re: Miami. I just still don't understand why Marysol, Adriana and Kiki aren't full-time housewives. Especially this year, both Marysol and Kiki get individual scenes and show their family. It doesn't make sense to me why they aren't offered full-time except that I know the cast is already large and they need to save money. But why choose those three specifically each year? They could rotate IMO based on who has what going on each year.
  5. I love to hear that you enjoyed it! I've gotta say, AMC in the 90s was pure gold to me. GL entertains me, but you're right in that AMC was better during that era. I just haven't watched a soap opera in so many years, that GL's "bad" years are still great to me and I'm enjoying it because there's nothing like it anymore on TV. I really feel like I would love any 90s soap if I were to watch them all today. I could totally see Mattson as Amanda!
  6. I agree - this was a nice moment. When they saw each other in this moment... it was the first time I actually felt something for this couple and it made me happy.
  7. I’m up to May 19, 1997. April 23 - Michael Zaslow’s last episode. The whole situation is so sad. At least his last scene was with Holly, and as he walked out the door, you could almost tell Holly was emotional in her face as she gave a half smile/sad eyes gaze as he left. Then May 1, Roger is back as the new actor Dennis Parlato in a scene with Blake. He reminds me of an 80/90s AMC Adam Chandler (David Canary) on appearance/stature haha. May 19 - Petronia Paley (Vivian) is no longer in the end credits as a contract player. With the help of Hawk and Rusty, Reva has realized Annie can’t be her sister. Now she’s adamant about getting revenge on Annie and says “I will kill Annie Dutton with my bare hands!”. LOL I do love this rivarly a lot, now that it’s getting gritty and messy. Meanwhile, Annie packed her bags and left Josh’s house in a fit of rage, but she threatened to start drinking and he then allowed her to stay while he takes the kids to Matt’s house. Alan takes Annie to the doctor because she’s having pains after all the stress and sadly the doctor tells her the baby has no heartbeat, and she once again breaks down. Poor Annie - she’s really being put through the ringer! Watros yet again is putting on a masterclass in acting. Reva and Annie then confront each other at the Carousel House and Annie finally admits she’s not her sister, while Reva taunts her about the baby coming from a sperm donor, which Annie keeps denying. Reva starts smashing lamps, photos and desks! Josh and Reva then find each other, Reva tells him all about Annie’s lies, they kiss and do the whole “Always” and “Bud” thing. The big Spaulding party starts and Reva/Josh go together, thinking Annie won’t be there. They see her and decide to leave. As Josh is out getting the car, Annie lures Reva upstairs. Ross was named the new DA, and while giving his speech, Annie gaslights Reva and puts Reva’s hand on her chest and yells “Reva, NO!” and falls backwards down the staircase, just as Josh enters the party again! What great soap opera LOL! So this is the way Annie can have a miscarraige, even though she knows her baby is dead already, and now she’s blaming it on Reva in front of everyone. Love it! Oh Reva is so mad. She then accuses Annie of being artifically inseminated in front of everyone at the hospital. Annie of course flips out and Josh doesn’t know what to do. While I’m loving this Annie/Reva feud, it does start to take a dark turn that isn’t as fun. Annie gets to the morgue and does away with the remains of her fetus, while Reva is demanding a paternity test. I don’t love going the ‘destroy the fetus’ route. But then wow, just as Josh tells Reva he believes her and they kiss, Frank comes to arrest Reva for attempted murder (Annie) and the murder of the unborn fetus! Ross, as the new DA, has to prosecute Reva while Griffin defends Reva as her lawyer. As far as Ross, Amanda seemingly was able to get him the DA position, which makes Blake angry. But they’re able to smooth that over and Ross wants Blake to hold the bible whlie he’s sworn in days later (cute). He then goes back home to see the kids one night, they have some wine, talk about life and how they never stopped loving each other and kiss! Yay. Roger ends up interrupting them, so Ross leaves for the night, but it’s like they’re back to dating again and getting butterflies when they see each other. Bridget took Peter to Minnesota for a week without telling Hart, which pisses him off. That happened in a day this entire month, they’re really drawing this out. Lots of hijinks with Jenna/Buzz/Jeffrey this month, but it really doesn’t amount to much. At all. Buzz/Jenna still like each other, they hide from Jeffrey, the end. Hmm, Michelle randomly finds out that her mother (Maureen) was a heart donor and her heart was given to someone else. Then, she’s accepted into the same college that her mother went to, which makes her sad. They’ve randomly spent a lot of time on Michelle reflecting on Maureen lately. Philip and Rick discourage Michelle from finding the person with her heart, so she enlists Bill to help. Vanessa (Tess) and Matt (Robert) keep talking to each other in an empty Poetry chatroom. While cheesy, it’s very cute watching them talk to each other in a split screen with the same outdoor backdrop LOL. It’s very cute though. They’re being coy with where they live and what they do for a living, but they’ve realized they’re several hours a part. Bill, while trying to help Michelle, found Matt’s chat room and started talking to Vanessa before Matt stopped him. Bill/Michelle come up with information that a court reporter has Maureen’s heart, so that leads them to Reva’s pre-trial. Reva’s pre-trial starts, with half the town in attendance... will Blake tell the truth about Annie, will Alan support Annie or Reva, will Ross find success in his first case as DA? Can’t wait to see!
  8. Well-executed concert - I'm so happy! I was holding my breath, but they did not disappoint. The previews look amazing - I can't wait for the Kat/Eva/Leslie verbal smackdown. Hayley!!!
  9. Totally agree - the direction and camera shots were so good today. The crowd shots/reactions was great. Much better execution and gives me hopes that we can/will see more of this later.
  10. LOL same - so funny. 😂 I think the set and number of extras was done much better than the fashion show a couple months ago.
  11. Totally agree - great scenes yesterday.
  12. Oh I actually love a beard and think most guys look better with a beard or some scruff. But, I think it's the 80s mop on his head that's too much for me. The 80s style for men, for me, usually isn't my thing. Although Riker in ST:TNG was perfect, much better with the beard, but still tidy up top Who is your type in Springfield?
  13. Oh - and how could I forget about Robert Newman? He's another who I was familiar with as a teen/young adult, didn't find him attractive, but now I really do. Not so much 80s Robert, but definitely 90s/00s Robert haha.
  14. Rick Hearst, definitely for me. Same with Frank Beaty, probably more so than Rick for me. In the beginning, I really found Frank D (Cooper) to be handsome, but that's slowly waning for me. I found the last two Harts to be handsome, but Grillo didn't age well for me at all. Otherwise, I think I would have found the current J (Ethan Erickson) to be hot when I was a teenager, watching in real time, but now not so much. Although I just Googled him and he aged well. Oh and how can I forget Kurt McKinney! (Or as PJ would claim, 'He Who Should Not Be Named' ). He really does it for me in the 90s when his hair isn't too long.
  15. Ohh ok - and this is A-M's alcoholic mother right? Looks like Robin only played her for 6-7 months. I'd love to see it! I was a bit confused myself, but Robin Mattson was the only one that made sense in my mind when I think about the AMC tornado.
  16. Oh wow, I didn't realize Robin played Amanda Spaulding. Robin was so good on AMC as Janet. She brought a new dynamic to the character and I really enjoyed her.
  17. Oh now that I'm older, I find Jerry to be very handsome in the 90s. I wouldn't have thought so in my teens/early 20s haha. Funny how things like that change
  18. Same! No judgment here, I think that's normal haha.
  19. So sad, I hope she pulls through and can beat it!
  20. Based on some of the comments here, sounds like more people have felt like Kat than maybe we'd think, which is very interesting. Makes the story maybe more relatable, viable and needed! So with Regina here, do we still think Hayley is involved in June's life/related anymore? I'm guessing no...
  21. 1994 and it was AMAZING Great direction, production, acting and started a few amazing storylines... glad you enjoyed that episode!!! And you'll see Grant Aleksander there at AMC at the time.
  22. Marc Cherry is an...interesting choice... maybe he'll spill some 'tea' at least haha.
