  1. Well now I've watched a couple of their episodes and these guys are so great. I love their friendship, their love for their families, and how they just want the world to be a kinder place. Love these guys! ❤️
  2. I just watched this and Steve was clearly impacted by James Van Der Beek's passing. That helped him make the decision that he just wants to live in the moment with his family. He's done this job for 40 years (starting at 15)... I mean, I get it. As a 40-something year old man, I start to think about mortality, time and the what-ifs. To me, he makes a lot of sense, especially as he talks about social media and people being hateful. He's excited to come back this summer and says a great story will be there for him, which is exciting. I've fallen in love with 46-year old Bradford Anderson. He looks so young still haha, but you can tell he's a mature family man as well. I love how he still cares about his coiffed hair haha. It feels like we won't get Spinelli back as a contract player though. Bradford seems very happy with his recurring status and work/life balance.
  3. I’m up to March 16, 1999. Josh tells Reva he wants another baby, but she says he first needs to make her an honest woman and marry her. So, he gets on his knee and proposes and she says yes. Why these two still aren’t married after all this time is weird to me. Anyway, the next morning, Reva/Josh/David meet with Alan/Vicky at Lewis Oil to reveal to Alan they have a taped confession from the spa lady, but once David presses play, we hear Vicky singing a song and then nothing else. David apologizes to Josh/Reva, Alan declares victory and said they’ve lost their precious Lewis Oil, and David confronts Vicky about her tricking him. Vicky stands up to him and says she knows what he did to get that confession, but then turns from angry to flirtatious again which confuses and angers David and he walks away. Ben tries to console Blake and pushes her to finally take that Paris trip to get her mind off things. She says no and has a vision of Ross telling her how to cope with her emotions, and she realizes Ben isn’t able to give her what she needs in this moment, only Ross can. Ben leaves to give her some space and she calls Ross, asking him to come over. He arrives and she hugs him, saying she’s missed him and never needed him as much as she does now. Jim tries to console Cassie and tell her things will get better, since he’s been through it too, but she doesn’t want to hear it. She lays into him saying their situations aren’t the same, but she eventually apologizes and they remain friendly. Later, Blake visits Cassie and tells her that while they lost Hart, they’ve gained life long sisters and their kids will grow up together. Annie nonchalantly tells Ben about how she left Reva in a plane to die and he says that could add attempted murder charges to her case. She then tells Alan in the same manner, like it was no big deal, and he flashes back to Dolly trying to convince him she’s a clone. He seems to have put it all together now and says Reva’s day just got worse. I guess Annie always assumed that news was out, but Reva/Josh could never tell anyone about the Annie plane thing because they would learn about Dolly the clone, which Alan just figured it out. He then tells Ben about the clone and Ben thinks he’s crazy, but Alan brings in Vicky to explain what she did with Michael and how it’s all true. I can’t believe we’re back to the clone a year later haha. Ben still doesn’t really believe it, but Vicky is willing to testify on the stand and he thinks it could be a valid theory in court. Alan suggests that Cassie has to know about the clone since she lived in the house, so he tasks Ben to get information out of Blake about Cassie. Ben says no, he won’t use Blake, but he’ll still get Annie off, which Blake walks in and hears and says over her dead body. Later, Cassie is visiting Blake and Ben purposefully drops papers about cloning which Blake sees and asks about. Cassie gets a little worried and asks why he would be researching cloning and he says it’s about a case he’s working on. Ben leaves, knowing what he’s doing by planting the seed, and Cassie pushes Blake about what she knows. She says she doesn’t know anything, so Cassie asks if she can trust her with information that will save her family, and Blake says of course because they’re now sisters. Cassie starts to hint that Reva really had a clone, which surprises Blake because she can’t believe it, but Cassie says it’s true. We then see a recording device that Ben left in the flowers and he’s listening to this confession from his office. Meanwhile, Josh/Reva/David are visited by the real Teri DeMarco who is now walking and healthy. She vows to get revenge on Annie and Alan and promises to testify in support of Reva. Teri slaps Alan on her way out. Later, Reva visits Vicky and tries to convince her to do the right thing and side with them by giving them a copy of the tape that they think she made. She says no and leaves, which pisses off Reva, who then claims Vicky is a true Spaulding. Outside, David asks Vicky if he meant anything to her, she says yes, and he pleads with her to use the heart he knows she has. He then kisses her and leaves, with Vicky seemingly unsure of what to do now. Vanessa has taken off with Maureen and Matt can’t find her, while Lillian lays into Beth about her role in all of this. It’s nice to finally see Lillian get some air time! Phillip and Harley show up and Matt tells them what happened. Susan overhears and schemes/investigates her way on the telephone to figure out where Vanessa’s car is, which impresses Harley (like a mini-her). Lillian tells Beth not to give up on men like she has, but to stay away from Matt. Beth cries and leaves, and falls into Jim’s arms outside. They’re really trying to chem test him with the women! Her bracelet is stuck in his sweater so they’re tied to the hip for a bit, which Susan and Lizzie sees and they think it’s cute. They finally get untangled and Jim asks her out for a drink, but she says no and she doesn’t need a man to fulfill her anymore. Jim and Susan leave but Susan winks at Lizzie, determined now to get them together by playing matchmaker. They each scheme to have lunch with their parent at Millennium and once Jim arrives and sees Beth/Lizzie, they figure out the kids arranged this meet up. The four of them have lunch together and it’s cute and the girls keep pushing them to do more things afterwards at the park, but the adults get the upper-hand and get the girls to admit their silly scheming. Matt finds Bill at Millennium and asks where Vanessa/Maureen are, but Bill said he won’t tell him and he can kick rocks. Beth suggests he go back in the poetry chat rooms, and we then see Vanessa logging into the chat room from a hotel room. The next morning, Annie’s trial starts and Ben surprises everyone by bringing out his colleague - oh my God, it’s Johnnie Cochran LOL (3/08). Like Rudy G before, how and why in the world did they get Johnnie on this show LOL. They take a break and Ben pulls Johnnie to the side and Johnnie gives him advice on what to do to win. Johnnie is clearly reading off cue cards at certain points. Anyway, that’s all for Johnnie because he then leaves, so he primarily just worked with Hunt Block for a couple scenes. Ben gives his opening statement and it’s strong, lightly trashing Reva/Josh and dangling a carrot about a certain witness he will call that is very close to Josh/Reva, but has no skin in the game or reason to lie and will tell the truth about Reva/Josh that should make the jurors acquit Annie. Josh is on the stand and Annie can’t help but to scream out that he’s lying and he loved her, etc, which irritates Ben and he has to get her calmed down. Alan didn’t like the outburst either. A now visibly pregnant Harley takes the stand and Ben sort of ruins her by calling out that her stint in the looney bin with Annie was illegal and paid for by Josh/Reva. Teri then takes the stand and recounts meeting Annie. Reva warns Frank a few times leading up to this that his ‘romantic’ encounters with Annie could come up and he needs to tell Eleni, but he blows it off saying he did nothing wrong. Frank then takes the stand and of course Ben uses this against Frank to discredit his testimony by asking if he kisses all his partners multiple times. Frank tries to say Annie kissed him, but Eleni storms out of the courthouse. Eleni cries outside and Buzz consoles her. Frank comes out and tries to talk to her, but she yells at him and goes home. Meanwhile, during a break, Blake tries to get information out of Ben, asking if he plans to use the clone information for some reason and who the surprise witness will be, but he says he can’t tell her, which she then tells Cassie and they get concerned. The next day, Bill shows up and Cassie is surprised he’s on the defense list as a witness. Reva is first to take the stand and she’s pretty smug in my opinion. Ben then starts grilling her and casually mentions her ‘cousin Dolly’ and you can tell Reva is panicking. They take a break and Reva pulls Ben aside and Ben reveals he has a tape of Cassie talking about the clone, which makes Cassie later feel horrible. Ben then calls Shayne to the stand, which surprises and upsets Reva/Josh. Shayne sort of melts down on the stand a bit, but Ben starts asking questions on how many times he’s seen Dolly (once), where she lives (Europe), what she looks like… which then prompts Reva to scream out “that’s enough”. The judge has to calm everyone down and they take a break. Annie asks Alan what’s going on, because she doesn’t like secrets, so he tells her about the clone. She can’t believe Josh loves Reva so much he would do something like that, but she gets excited about the information coming out, however Alan tells her it’s their last resort, they’d rather Reva/Josh back off and give up vs. having it come out. Phillip then lays into Alan for not putting a leash on Ben like he promised him. Vicky overhears it and pulls Alan aside and says she agrees with Phillip and it’s time for Alan to let Annie go. She professed her love for Josh again and that’ll never change and it won’t make sense to have her back in their Spaulding home. Alan gets angry at her and says it’s his home and she must now move out, which shocks Vicky who then says Alan just made a huge mistake. Reva/Josh grill Ben on why he’s doing this and he asks them what’s more important - punishing Annie or protecting their children from their lies? Reva later confronts Blake about how she’s able to be with Ben and Blake tells her that he has incentive to win this case. Reva realizes Alan/Ben’s plan about Lewis Oil and Reva/Blake discuss that Ben secretly recorded Cassie talking about the clone, which stuns Blake. Reva later corners Annie and reveals she has a copy of the tape Annie filmed while they were on the plane, where Annie tells a tied up Reva she’s going to die. Annie says if she shows that tape, she’ll play the clone card and she knows Reva isn’t capable of letting that story out. The lawyers and Reva/Josh/Annie meet and Reva/Josh tell their lawyer they can’t move forward because they won’t be good on the stand and are afraid of what might come out. The lawyer is pissed about it, and Ben reveals the Detroit police are good with a 5-year probation deal to clear Annie from impersonating a cop. The judge is also shocked at this turn of events with her settlement agreement (as am I!), but is quite stern with Annie as she says her community service will be grueling. She’s also ordered to psychiatric appointments. Court is then over and Annie/Alan hug about the fact she’s a free woman. Ben then celebrates with Alan by being the new CEO of Lewis Oil, however Blake is upset and says she refuses to celebrate. Ben says she will eventually want to be with him to celebrate and she walks out. We then see Reva/Josh talk briefly about how thankfully Annie didn’t see more of that video from the plane, because it’s revealed to be something they threw together to make her think it’s the real video when in fact it wasn’t. The Lewis/Shayne family leave in the elevator as Annie watches, seemingly sad that she’s not part of it. The next day at the diner, Frank tries to apologize to Eleni but she doesn’t want to hear it. Buzz then lays into Frank and tells him he really screwed up and he needs to make it right. Danny gives Michelle false information to see if she will run to the FBI, which is a test to see if he can trust her. She tells Drew about it and wants her to call the FBI. Later, Danny meets with his grandma and he confesses to her that he’s fallen in love with Michelle, even though he wishes he hadn’t, which Michelle overhears. Michelle then calls Drew begging her not to call the FBI because she doesn’t want to play along anymore, but Drew says she already has and they’re gearing up to arrest Danny. Drew calls the FBI and tries to get them to stop, but they won’t and now Michelle is trying to prevent Danny from getting caught. She pretends that she’s going blind again and he rushes her to the hospital. Rick sees her and realizes she’s faking it and privately asks her what’s going on, but Jesse/Danny/Drew all come in and Jesse becomes protective of her and wants to make sure she’s ok (aww). Rick plays along and Danny gets upset that Jesse is getting close to her. Rick kicks the guys out and Michelle tells Drew she’s faking. Dietz finds Danny outside Michelle’s room and tells him Michelle tipped off the FBI and they arrested some of their men, which could have included him. Danny looks menacingly at Michelle through the window. The next day at Millennium, they finally pick back on up Drew’s backstory when Michelle is looking through her childhood pictures and letters in preparation for an interview the press is going to do on Drew and her club. Michelle finds a letter and reads it aloud from her birth mother to her parents essentially saying Drew was adopted. Drew freaks out, having never known she was actually adopted and starts crying. She runs to the diner into Selena’s arms for comfort, telling her that her father lied to her all her life and she was adopted. While Drew leaves to make a phone call, Buzz tries to convince a hesitant Selena to finally tell her the truth about being her mother. Drew then comes back and excitedly tells them that she got a hold of her mom’s old friend that knew her growing up, and she said it was a mistake, the secretary must have mailed it to the wrong family because she’s not adopted. Drew’s excitement at the news stuns Buzz and Selena. Jesse arrives and takes an excited Drew back to their apartment, but Jesse starts to think the letter is in fact real. He realizes her birth certificate is a copy and not the original, and he mentions the fact she has no pictures of herself as a baby before she’s a year old, so he tells Drew she probably was adopted, but she still refuses to believe it. Ross visits Holly in the psych ward and these are lovely scenes where a gentle Ross tries to convince her it’s time to get her life back because her family needs her. He reminds her of the day she returned to SF and took over WSPR. We get a long, lovely flashback of Holly and Roger which really made me miss Roger/Zaslow and their relationship.
  4. Totally agree. Such a great tribute and wonderful scenes, really showcasing Alexa's talents today.
  5. Friday's Geary tribute episode: Once Lulu started crying, I lost it (Alexa is so good at that). I'm tearing up, smiling and enjoying this episode. It was so good and such a lovely tribute. Genie killed it today too. Gosh, Maurice was so handsome back in the day.
  6. I'm loving it! I'm sensing a redemption storyline for Randy with Mona.
  7. Oh how I love this Dupree vs. Anastasia rivalry!
  8. @Errol - thanks for those detailed examples! Based on my new understanding, I think I'll like that :)
  9. Ugh, they pre-empted the first minute or two... which is fine, but just annoying that they couldn't get the news off a minute earlier. Oh well. Chelsea has those obnoxious butterfly earrings on again haha.
  10. That's so awesome, I love to hear it! :)
  11. Thank you for that link!! This is the GH website I use to catch myself up with characters and their relationships/family ties. Also LOL that they even track these characters astrological signs. Gosh, so Bailey Lu is the granddaughter of AMC's own Alex Devane! Interesting. I then went down the rabbit hole on that site and am realizing GH turned Alex into a villain and she's dead, which kind of upsets me, but I'll get over it haha.
  12. I love your write-up on 1990-1992 here, I wish I could watch every episode. LOL at your 1999 review. I've got to say, I'm in March and so far I'm not loving it. Not F territory yet, but maybe C- for me... but there is more to go. Thanks also to @DRW50 @kalbir @DeeVee @Mitch64 for your perspectives! LOL at the bolded :)
  13. Thanks @Vee and @carolineg for your Spixie thoughts/perspectives! :) I agree too, being a newer viewer again of GH, all these little kids running around, it's hard to keep track whose is whose haha.
  14. To counterpoint... at least we're getting him on-screen (being recurring), in long johns no less haha... it's better than nothing. I do think the storyline is a bit cheesy, but my softer side is loving it. It feels more like a Hallmark Fall pumpkin spice, cute romance story. :) So timing might be off, but I'm still here for it. Re: Spinelli - I can't help but to love that man (I almost said kid, but we've aged haha). My emotional side wants Spinelli with Maxie and Nathan with Lulu for now. But that's me never seeing Maxie/Nathan together. Maybe Monday's episode will change my opinion.
  15. Y'all - this might seem silly, but I posted a comment on Susan Lucci's IG about an interview she did about her book where I said it was beautiful and I bought her newest book.. She liked my comment! I don't comment on people's IG ever, but I felt compelled and she liked it immediately (or her people did), but whatever, I have Susan Lucci's IG liking my comment 😍 Her book arrives Saturday and I can't wait to read it. Speaking of IG - Rodney Wilson started following me and liked many of my pictures. I'll have to send him a message this weekend and let him know how great he is. What a nice guy!
  16. This is the wine talking tonight haha - but Chuck Tyler being the father of Greenlee on a different show (GL) - wow, I love this 😁 You know what I mean... but I find it interesting, many folks here think the 94/95 and beyond ruined the show, but I hear so much now about the mid-80s being terrible... so what truly was the golden era of GL? Was it pre-1985... was it 89-93? Do we know much/care about the 70s? I'm enjoying reading about the 50s in those other threads, but haven't heard much about the 60s/70s of GL. I don't know - in terms of looking like prince and princesses, Erica/Dimitri and Edmund/Maria yes - but the whole fanfare and long-term location shoot like this one, definitely no. Oh and what was "Infinity" - what is that term in relation to the wedding or storyline there?
  17. YES! I totally remember you posting that puppet date clip last year and I had no idea that was this girl Jessie. How interesting... but weird that she left that same year after the date. I thought that scene was really cute and endearing, I really bought into their coupling just from that episode. Online it says Jessie and Simon left town together, so at least they stayed together LOL. Re: Calla - What's VD? Also - watching part 9 of that wedding series, I instantly recognized AMC's Chuck Tyler!!! I had no idea Richard Van Vleet was on GL, let alone as Ed Bauer - wow. Was he popular as Ed back then? He was a handsome guy.
  18. Appreciate that and good to know :) Part of me has been annoyed this week with BLQ and her meddling, but I don't know her backstory with those girls either. Maybe she's closer to Maxie and being a good friend. Today's cliffhanger so was good and I can't wait to see how it turns out Monday. Tomorrow will just be so emotional.
  19. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but these Anita/Vernon/Leslie scenes are cracking me up. I love it so much, especially when Leslie called him 'Vern' and he was like uh, no, call me by my real name or Senator haha. She's always giving people nicknames and I love it.
  20. Heck yeah - Lulu and Maxie love the Housewives, especially OC! Loved to hear that haha.
  21. I was just going to say... After watching more of this wedding, I'm amazed at how wonderful it all is! But, after researching some of these characters, I'm so confused by how much money and focus they put on this wedding! Kurt had zero ties to anyone (no parents, siblings or otherwise), and then he dies like 7 months later? Then you have Calla and Jessie, who I see are Lillian's sister and niece, but they had just joined the show like a month prior to this wedding and left only a year later. That seems... odd. I don't know that we ever hear about them ever again? You'd think if Beth had an aunt or cousin, they would have recasted and brought them in later maybe. All I can say is wow, John Bolger looked quite handsome in his wedding attire! 😍
  22. LOL - she'll never live this down with some fans. Speaking of, I honestly thought yesterday while watching GH... gosh, I hope poor Alexa Havins isn't set up to be in a situation where she's hated by GH fans for what Lulu is about to do to Maxie (with the Nathan situation). That's immediately where my mind went yesterday haha. Although I don't know the GH fandom well, so I don't know if Lulu or Maxie, or both, are sacred or hated characters these days.
  23. LOL! I don't believe you 😜 Wow - I've only seen the first clip and I'm already in love with the fall colors and outdoor setting. I've never really seen scenes with Kyle/Reva, but gosh when he's summoning her to come to him, that's kind of hot haha. But... who are those people dancing strangely in the woods in the first 30 seconds of that first clip? That is so odd haha. I'll have to watch more of these clips later today when I have time!
  24. My, this was so special and I teared up listening to his story. I love that he still has a brick from the old studio that was torn down, and that he still has the fondest memories of AMC. Seems like it was his favorite set to work on to-date. Do we know why he left AMC for Y&R - was it his decision or the shows? I remember my mother loving Cliff and Nina. He left AMC in 1989, so I have the vaguest memories of him, but it wasn't until 1990 when I can recollect storylines. Sadly I have never watched Y&R, but happy to hear he's still there and won some Emmys for his work.
  25. Wow - 15! I don't think I realized she was that young when she started. I know she's promoting something else, but I'm just going to hope this means they're pouring SMG back on the Hallmark AMC movies that may or may not actually happen :P Actually, I really love Alicia Minshew, so I'd be torn.
