!!! That AMC opening is what I grew up on and what I still think today is the best soap opera opening of all time 😜 Ohhh, was that Nadine in the bed with Billy? I haven't watched beyond the intro and outro yet, but did see a hungover Billy get out of bed and see a big diamond ring on some woman haha. Regarding the intro and outro... I don't think it was until 1996 when GL finally did an A and B intro so it could fully showcase their entire contract cast. They did make updates pretty timely from there until they phased that intro out in 1997, which irritates the crap out of me haha. I can't speak for all soaps, but GL was the first soap for me that did the contract character stills in the outro, so maybe that is why they felt the intro didn't need to get updated as often before 1996? On AMC, for example, they just used still shots from that day's episodes but it was never a focus on each character. But, AMC did a great job of having all their cast in A and B intros throughout the 90s/00s. OMG - thank you for posting! You're right, this episode in the Vault only has the first ~28 minutes, so I remember missing the ending during my watch earlier in the year. I hope someone tech savvy can get this full episode in the Vault before YT takes it down. I just watched the ending and thankfully it doesn't seem like I missed much haha. Dinah with the very short hair, but Griffin's assassination fiasco, Quint's awful return, and Lonatrat were in full display here which were awful storylines ( @P.J. - you can see here how Marcus/Griffin are connected). I do remember getting to see the ridiculous/hilarious paper mache that Roger made of his face to help him escape the loony bin. So bad LOL.

Was there ever really a Denise or did Ava just make her up? So I finally just got Hulu and to my surprise they only had today's 2015 episode, the 2024 episode they played yesterday and then the last 8 current episodes. Is that normal?? I was really hoping there was a bigger catalog to watch from the past :( Is there another streamer out there with a bigger catalog of the recent years? Paramount+ has every episode of BTG from this past year, but I did just notice that B&B only goes back to Sept and Y&R goes back to October only. :(

I'm watching this 2015 episode too and wow, it's helping put some pieces together for me. Like knowing Kiki and Morgan. Morgan seems a little dopey. The new actor playing Dillon is HANDSOME, wow 😍 I just looked online and it seems like Dillon is still alive somewhere, I wonder why they didn't get him for Monica's funeral. Lulu and Dante is nice to see. A dark haired Ava pretending to be a Denise, interesting. And Ric Hearst still having his dark hair, makes me think of his GL's Alan-Michael. But most fun is seeing Donna Mills! LOL at her meeting Valeria and asking "Why does Maxie think you're a home-wrecking bitch?" LOL Also seeing Michelle Stafford as Nina instead of Watros, interesting! Nathan looks so much younger. RIP to Tony Geary ❤️ That ending was very sad and emotional, but also felt like a passing of the torch to Sonny.

Today is a heartbreaking episode - all about cancer. So emotional and well-acted today. I'm assuming one of the sisters will have this gene, so which one? I'm going to guess Nicole... I'm believing too that once they got a Season 2 pick-up, they altered things and Winterfest became tame and they started this cancer storyline.

That's what I'm curious about... I've never really seen Eva trash talk JC... in her interviews and the new documentary, she seems to think fondly of him and he was a great father. I also can't really see Eva getting wildly confrontational though, she seems like just the sweetest person ever.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
I just watched the new movie The Housemaid, which has AMC's Amanda Seyfried. She was BRILLIANT in this movie. I've read the book and loved it, so I was excited to see this movie, but honestly wasn't sure she could pull off the Nina character... but she did. So good!

I had to look this up because I hadn't heard about her tweet re: JC... yikes!

ALL: Best soap rivalries of all time
YES! :) Reva/Annie is such a good one... while not a decades long rivalry like Viki/Dorian or Brooke/Erica, it's still a great one!

❤️ Haha thank you - glad you enjoy, just like I enjoy your OLTL ones! I know, Dinah is really in her chaotic era and I chuckled myself when they started toasting champagne after pulling guns on each other. It reminded me of their mutually beneficial "friendship" back before Annie/Alan's wedding when Watros was still in the role.

Today was a great episode. I'm really enjoying the couples they're establishing, particularly Gio/Emma and Cody/Molly. I felt so bad for Cody and then loved his idea to go to Molly while she's working. That dog is so dang cute too. I also like the budding Nathan/Lulu thing going on - today was a next step towards a coupling, it seems. Curtis and Jordan were pretty hot today too! What a great romance-driven NYE episode - loved it!

LOL - I'd be into that storyline :P Gosh, the family has to get tested now - I'm assuming one of the grandchildren will be carrying it :/ Great first NYE episode for BTG! They really did the holidays well in their first year.

I like that they're celebrating NYE with a big party and decorations! Ugh, the Dani/Nicole scenes will kill me when they hear about the cancer...
