  1. The issue is not mocking Barron, it's that Trump spoke about his son like he was someone else's.
  2. People always used to get on Cameron for being Mr. TV - everywhere at once hosting, gladhanding, etc. But whatever I felt about Ryan on AMC, I never got the sense that Cameron Mathison wasn't a decent guy very grateful for AMC and every opportunity it gave him. I wish him the best.
  3. Oh wow. Lulu Wilson was great in Sharp Objects and Hill House.
  4. This will likely go the way of the fabled "infrastructure week," but it's still sickening.
  5. I'll have to keep an eye on this. My fantasy pitch back in college was a revival as well, not a reboot - and even then, almost 20 years ago, the cast was half-dead so it was conceived as with mostly an entirely new cast. It kind of stuns me that they'd ever attempt the former, I thought anything but a reboot would be impossible now. I'll believe it when I see it.
  6. Now trending:
  7. Don't pity him. He's bigoted scum who parlayed it into a career of grift.
  8. As for returns that actually work, Patsy Palmer clicks immediately. The new Ben guy seems decent and all but I can't invest in another surprise gay story when Callum and Ben look exactly alike and Ben seems so different in personality. It's sad.
  9. As I said in the other thread: Random Facebook post, no credible source, not buying it.
  10. This is an unsourced FB post with no legitimate corroboration.
  11. A shame but not wholly surprising. I am glad she got another gig and I hope we'll see her off and on as they suggest.
  12. This made a real impact:
  13. Jake Weary (Luke, ATWT) has a role as one of several homophobic thugs in It: Chapter Two, a departure from his current role on Animal Kingdom in which he and ex-AWer Spencer Treat Clark ravish each other nonstop as the body count rises.
  14. Vee replied to DRW50's topic in Primetime & Streaming
Billie Piper and the Tylers (Camille Coduri and Shaun Dingwall) return for a Rose Tyler Big Finish miniseries.

I am totally buying this set - a full Special Edition of the last season of the McCoy era. Sophie Aldred!
  16. I feel it could've been a retread of Carpenter's Somebody's Watching Me, but it was a neat idea. The H4 script Carpenter worked on with Dennis Etchison was overtly supernatural. It was very out there and basically stated that the Shape lived on through the town's fear and hatred of him. At the end he turns into a fifty foot tall Shape towering over a burning drive-in - it was a lot, LOL. IIRC Carpenter wanted Joe Dante to direct.
