I think elements of the Leviathans period have their moments, but I've always had a soft spot for that storyline and its kitchen sink fun. I think the original Quentin/Beth Turn of the Screw story is also very good, though IMO it suffers from shoving Maggie into Vicki's role which she never fully fit despite the talent of Kathryn Leigh Scott. And I think bits of the summer 1970 period, with Gerard's ghost, are very good especially the climactic zombie apocalypse. But it's more the harrowing 1995 stuff that sticks with me than that period. I also think Vicki knew. Her dreams, in fact, often indicated she did.

That line a few weeks ago at the first debate where Biden defended Hunter despite his addictions as Trump attacked him hit very hard with parents and families, given the opioid crisis in this country. It was one of many moments that made that night a disaster for Trump. Rudy's latest attempt at a Hunter story also failed, but these details IMO may make it even worse for the Trump people.

Loath as I am to agree with the burn it down crowd on anything, Feinstein needs to step down from Judiciary. She's had a long and distinguished career and unlike those nuts I'm not trying to oust her from the Senate outright - there are male fossils far more decrepit than her - but there has been a sustained push inside the actual Dem Congressional ranks to remove her from the Judiciary role even before these messy Barrett hearings began, not just from the hair on fire leftists, because they feared she isn't strong enough to handle the role, and it should happen. We cannot afford another four years of hail-fellow-well-met chummy bipartisan Senatorial cliches from 25 years ago, not with SCOTUS and such standing where it is now. These people want to wipe us out and they would've if Trump hadn't been such a blithering incompetent. We have to take the gloves off. Meanwhile:
