I watched some of the "Hadley" mess on YT. It was one of the most insanely stupid things Malone has ever done, the worst of his pop psych tendencies executed very, very immaturely. He was also clearly intent on pairing Moss' Amanda with reporter co-worker Jake. I don't know enough about Malone's AW run to know when he abandoned his pairing of his character (I think) Bobby Reno/Shane with Vicky to going back to Jake/Vicky. I assumed that was the network responding to his stories bombing.

Some are. Many/most are not. Some will resume, IMO.

I know lots of folks feel differently, but I do think Block had some solid work in the role, even if Craig was very different in a lot of ways; I ultimately feel Bryce was superior and more versatile, as he did end up playing the same darker (and more two-dimensional) Sheffer model of Craig himself later. I did think there was a strange, taboo chemistry with Block and Byrne and their characters from different present-day spheres that interested me, but at that time I was largely unaware of just how close young Lily and Bryce's Craig had been; most of my Marland viewing came later. So while it interested me, I can see why that disgusted Byrne and many fans. It could never have happened with Scott Bryce. Are there any serialized Marland-era playlists on YT? I remember devouring a huge portion of the Doug Cummings story unedited, many episodes in a row, a couple years ago.

Not necessary, no. Until yesterday your only other post was an overly long attack on someone for criticizing Beth Ehlers. All your posts since are overly long defenses of Beth Ehlers. All your prior screen name's posts were overly long defenses of/attacks on behalf of Beth Ehlers. The style, length and vitriol are identical. It's not particularly upsetting or offensive to me, it's just boring. But you do you, girl.

I always suspected Goutman and possibly Sheffer wanted to pair Craig and Lily, yes. Didn't Goutman actually do it or tease it near the end with the irregulars (Beck and Lindstrom)? The show was completely alien to me by then on far more levels.

Ehlers was a very talented actress who got lazy onscreen and whose career ended poorly by her own choices. I'm ready to add to my sig if you are!

Still only about a quarter through LM. Making it last and spacing it out with other stuff. Didn't see a lot of the early weeks as a kid. Ava mentions her Uncle Harry and premonitions - was this from her coma dream a year before? How long ago was it? I was under the impression those premonitions had to do with '94 stories, not the LM. The shot of what appears to be Trisha leaving Curtis' therapy chamber is so creepy.

Time and experience have shown that generally the BTS problems with Crystal Chappell's stints at various shows was Crystal Chappell, and I say that as someone who even loved her on OLTL. Speaking of, I've said this before but around 2003 if it'd been up to me I'd have recast Hope with Catherine Hickland, along with Roscoe Born as Alan Spaulding, with the intent to re-pair them. In this rich fantasy world, McKinsey would've come out of retirement (haha!) to play Alex, who would bring Hope back to town to destabilize Alan.

LOL I don't know what fantasy camp this is but I'm not seeing any indicator of beef with LW and Zimmer.
