  1. If Staff doesn't want to be paired up with Bergman's Jack, I would readily replace her with Tognoni again. I thought she was a remarkable recast in what I suspected would be a fail. And she sold that couple 100%. I've talked often about how unfairly slated I think PB is by fans in terms of his performance, but pairing him with very young women these days is embarrassing as hell.
  2. This is laughable:
  3. We regret to inform you Nate Cohn has done it again: The original thread is worth reading to see Cohn, like another proud Nate before him, dig an even deeper hole for themselves by replying to people and saying 'ahhh you see, these replies mean Democrats COULD become Republicans at some future date!'
  4. Shucks:
  5. Insane to see Madripoor and the Princess Bar (Wolverine's favorite haunt in town) in Episode 3. Again, stuff I never thought I'd see onscreen. More later.
  6. Definitely did not expect to see the legendary character actor Nicholas Pryor (Victor Collins, PC) as Baron Zemo's kooky old butler in Episode 3 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
  7. Had Moderna but same here. Flawless.
  8. Got my first Moderna on Friday AM and am only just now beginning to feel like I haven't been hit by a bus. I was fine til that evening and then I was just sore, rundown and possibly mildly feverish til around now early Sunday, when I am beginning to feel slightly better. Worth it though.
  9. No one will praise Greene for moderation any time soon, lol. It's not a con, it was simply a complete shitshow of a rollout. That being said:
  10. Thread:
  11. Bari Weiss has stepped in it again. I wonder if this one will make her still somewhat mainstream media friends (like Olivia Nuzzi, a socialite fascist enabler who will be on Fox News in the next ten years like so many others before her) turn tail:
  12. It won't matter if it's 30 or 60 minutes; in writing for hire in certain media it doesn't matter if it's perfect or precious. What matters is that it's on time and first. If you get there first and reasonably well, you get paid and get the next job, period. Putting your ego out of it is essential and any dreams of perfection are the first thing to go. Deadline is what matters. Soaps can still have art to them under those conditions or grind, but it's far harder than it used to be.
  13. Cenk Uygur remains beyond parody.
  14. The Beltway clutches its pearls, but IMO it will win with the public again.
  15. Hello again. I honestly think - though I could be wrong - that Robin all but retired from the business a number of years ago. My understanding is she only did those drop-in guest stints in the later years of her GH run to keep her insurance. JFP, who loved Robin, was always happy to oblige. I do think she worked much better on the show as a guest to come in for short runs and cause trouble. That was right for her on GH. I never bought Skye as a Quartermaine, and even less so when they kept her as part of the family fold when she'd been forced in overnight and then was revealed to be a fraud only a few years later.
  16. It's a lovely thing to do, but as with Carly Schroeder's guest appearance I'm always left asking 'why not just hire these people on contract?' I'm sure Reilly's daughter isn't at all interested in a soap contract (until TikTok dries up anyway), but you know what I mean. These characters (Anna Donely, Serena) are money on the table being left unused in favor of inferior choices.
  17. A decent piece in some ways, though I'm not really sympathetic to the author's "surprise" or the toxic voices he turns to searching for answers.
