I'd still blow his brains out on camera and leave a body to set an example to the rest of the cast and vaccine shirkers, but they'll never do that. They'll ask him back in a year or a few years when this blows over. I have no clue WTF has gone on with Jason's stories with Britt, Carly, etc. in the last year. They rapidly changed gears at least twice.

I can't stand Britt but that would actually be preferable to what appear to be their attempts to pair him with Maxie, who's half his damn age but they don't care anymore bc a) it's Howarth Character #3 and b) Kirsten Storms has aged about 20 years in 10. I will allow that KT had real chemistry with Burton. He came to play in those love scenes for the first time in I have no idea how long. I just don't give a [!@#$%^&*] about Jason, and I've found Britt thin as saran wrap character-wise since day one.

I mean, arguably she did work for a long time; wasn't JC there 7-8 years? I think she's always fun to see. I think they just mishandled various Tonys, and I think the audience was ultimately more there for Viki (and Karen), and then came Rauch.

I'm seriously beginning to suspect they'll either hang or convict, at which point Judge Lee Greenwood will immediately declare a mistrial (which he's elected to delay ruling on since the defense asked for one yesterday mid-deliberations, probably bc they're spooked), possibly with prejudice, which I believe would prevent Rittenhouse from being tried again. He's shopping for the verdict he wants before he nukes the alternative. I expect Rittenhouse to walk no matter what, but seeing the jury defy this entire sham and that despicable judge would be nice. Big if.

I've just never found Britt an intriguing or versatile enough character; I think she is a drip onscreen and I think her performer is weak. People always lean on "oh, but her scenes with Brad!" to excuse there never being much there to her. It's easy for weak characters or actors to throw shade and come off fun, but when you put them on frontburner and they have to do real layered material the cracks show. There's dozens of cases like this, especially in the last 20 years. She may have improved from her truly dire days in the Carlivati era but she's still not worth it to me. YMMV.

Not to jinx it more than it already is, but given how much of a sham this trial has appeared to be from the beginning I'm legit surprised the Rittenhouse jury is taking this long.

I was glad to see even Capitol Hill gaggle staples like Manu Raju (and say what we will about the CH kids' facile questions and addiction to the daily drama around them, some of them do work hard and all of them were endangered on 1/6) dismantling that piece.

The BBC has confirmed Chibnall/Whittaker will exit with a final special (of three) "next autumn". I would suspect the first of the final three specials may be at New Year's, the second in summer 2022, but who knows. I wonder if we'll see RTD resurrect the proper Christmas special in 2022 with his new Doctor - the 'Festive Special' thing Chibnall has done has always felt hollow to me.

Yeah, I only caught up very recently bc the Chibnall era is utterly uninspiring to me. But Flux is a bit of an improvement and I am reinvigorated by the news of RTD returning in future.

It's good for the genre, even if I find the quality often lacking. You would wish ABC/Disney would follow suit.

Again, regardless of quality, they're clearly continuing to invest in Days on streaming and that's good for the genre.
